New designed mini air compressor
An mini air compressor may be used to provide a hand-held tool with pneumatic power. The mini air compressor is part of an apparatus that further includes a motor for driving the mini air compressor and a tank for storing compressed air. A drive assembly operatively interconnects the motor with the mini air compressor, and is mounted on the tank with the motor and the mini air compressor. The drive assembly may include a pulley, a flywheel, and a linkage structure that cooperate to reciprocate a piston within the mini air compressor upon rotation of an output shaft at the motor. The reciprocating piston pumps compressed air into the tank. A pneumatic power hose extends from the tank to the pneumatically powered tool. In some cases the tank is provided with wheels and a handle so that the entire apparatus is portable.
In accordance with the present invention, an apparatus includes a motor with an output shaft. A solitary mini air compressor is linked to the output shaft so as to be driven by the output shaft. The mini air compressor contains a piston in a cylinder. A first fan is mounted on the output shaft to direct cooling air to the motor. A second fan is mounted on the output shaft to direct cooling air to the mini air compressor.
An apparatus as defined in claim 2 wherein said mini air compressor is a solitary mini air compressor driven by said motor, and further comprising a first fan mounted on said output shaft to direct cooling air to said motor, and a second fan mounted on said output shaft to direct cooling air to said mini air compressor.
The present invention relates to an mini air compressor, and particularly relates to an mini air compressor that is mounted on a tank.

Is the air pressure affected by all the wheels and compressors and other inflatables around the world?
There must be billions of wheels and millions of compressors and millions of other inflatables that compress air. Would that have any affect on atsmospheric pressure?Just think that you're in a sealed room(GLOBE) and the air sucked into a vacuum, What woud happen???
And where do you think all that air goes?
Do you thing tires retain air for hundred of years?
1. An average tire wears out after say 50,000 miles while an average car makes 20,000 miles a year. That means that on the average a tire gets emptied (if did not get punctured) every 2.5 years.
2. The other application of compressed air are air actuated tools. Air goes in and air goes out. No problem.
3. We consume for that purpose .1% of Earth's atmosphere (wild guess). I rest my case.
Have fun!
