I beleive the procedure to do this does not require the factory scan tool, but as near as I can tell, only the factory scan tool can tell if the procedure worked to reset the ISC. To do this the tool reads a parameter that shows if ISC learning has been done or not.

Does any one know how to tell if the IDLE spped control is OK withought the factory scan tool?

I have a "scanguage" it can be programed to read this sort of stuff if you happen to know the right factory codes.

Or Perhaps someone know some sort of test like drive a xx speed for xx mins at temp YY and the idle speed should be XX if the idle if correct or YY if it isnt....

Anyway, does anyone know how to tell if an Idle Speed Control initialization worked or is needed?
