will satin black lacquor wor on the exterior of a car?
I recently bought a 1988 Honda civic CRX. It needs some bodywork but the price was right and I figured I could tackle the project. (Or at lest give it one heck of a go) I was originally planning on painting it SI electron pearl blue but the gloss will show every imperfections in the bondo work. One of the forums that I was looking at suggested doing a flat or satin black paint. I have prior experience spraying lacquer and am wondering if it will work as an exterior paint option. If you have any suggestions or words of advice I would love to hear them.

it will look good i painted an older car like this a long time ago and it actually came out real good ,i did it using a paint gun in a spray booth but the guy wanted it that color and we sprayed a sealer on top of that,and it lasted for as long as the car did ,and it does help hide some imperfections on them,but remember black shows up everything,even though its a satin finish it will still show up some imperfections on it,but they look really good,that was popular back in the old hot rodding days ,good luck.
