How to remove crankshaft pulley/damper?
Ok, here is the problem. We are replacing the head gasket on a 1998 plymouth breeze 2.4l engine and to do that we must remove the crankshaft pulley. Any way, we used a 3 jaw puller and it tries to pull the crankshaft pulley but the pulley wont move. Any way, i dont know if there is a special tool to get it off, but what we are doing isnt working. So, how do you recommend removing the crankshaft pulley?
No use the three Jaw puller because you can ruin the pulley, there is one special puller for the part,and if you no have the money to buy it try Kragen auto part they can loan one, just need to leave a deposit but when you return the tool they give the money back to you
