Can I use a drill press to mortise a piece of wood with a square hollow chisel and drill bit?
I would rather buy a drill press and use it for other applications than buy a Morticer for only morticing if possible.
Yes i do it all the time when i install door strikes just measure a few times before drilling. Also use a spade bit or aForstner Bit is best.
