Considering the Queen is head of state of some Large countries like Australia and Canada and the Canadian hoisting the Union Jack at every entry point and gov building ( pisses me off )

Orange youre a dumb ass and a shame to Canada. The Queen is head of STate , Commander of the Canadian forces British Union Jack still flies at fort York and entry point not because of past history mind you.

Nobody won. The British were attacked by France and signed a peace treaty to get the hell out of the colonies and fight a real war. Here, it was a series of skirmishes with few real battles.

Commonwealth nations are an entirely different matter. The UK granted Canada dominion so the U.S. would not expand north. Canada's doing fine.
