Is this Oblivion glitch available in the ps3 version of the game?
I came across this question ( http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtfIgzHN8WxZ8PhHWoDr7pQjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20090524120605AAbVAuq ) in which the best answer describes a glitch that could give permanent fortify effects to your character.
I tried it, but it doesn't do anything except for keeping the enchanted item 'equipped' on my character without being equipped on the inventory screen, which would then be unequipped if i were to equip an item of the same type.
For example, I use the glitch to get a permanent fortify magicka effect by enchanting a hood. Then when I have two of the hood and drop them, the hood is still on my character with it not in my inventory. Also when i equip another hood or helmet, the fortify effect disappears.
So, I want to know if that is how the glitch is supposed to work, if it doesn't work for the ps3, or if I'm just doing it wrong.
If you couldn't already figure it out, I only have Oblivion for the ps3.
There's a unique situation that is required for permanently equipping something other than a ring. Assuming that you are using the scroll copy trick, you are going to need at least 3 of the same scroll. Copy the item using two of the scrolls, and pick the item back up. Equip the item, and now use the 3 scrolls to copy the item. You will get 4 copies of the item (one will be left in your inventory unequipped) and should be able to wear other things on top of the of the permanently equipped item(s). This little modification was needed with the original arrow copying trick and has apparently applied to the scroll trick.
