If you look at a black hole in three dimensions, is there an escape way for rays?
They say even gravity cannot escape a black hole, but most look at one in only one dimension. They also say there is a spray of particals that escape at, say, the poles of the annomally. How so? Is gravity lesser at that part of the singularity because of spin velosity?
i think what you are referring to is Hawking Radiation.Hawking Radiation is a type if infrared radiation found to be emitted from just beyond the event horizon.the escape velocity at this point is equal to the velocity of electromagnetic radiation and hence it can be emitted.this is the process by which a black hole loses mass.
other than this nothing can actually leave the black hole and as mentioned it is escaping from a point just beyond the event horizon as anything passing the event horizon is pulled into the black hole
