Why can't hardisk be replace by flash memory or eprom chip?
If speed is essential, why are we using mechanical hardisk drive instead of electronic eprom chip set.
cost per GB of flash memory is very high compared with magnetic hard disk.
anyway one day flash memory or similar non mechanical data storage deivice will surpass Hard Disk.
