I cant find the filter option in Paint shop pro photo x2?
Does any one own paint shop pro photo x2? I can find the filter option?
Load your image in PSP. Go to Window, Duplicate. Now you will have a complete duplicate of your original image. Why do this? This is a good practice as to protect the original from. Once you have the duplicate you can go and close the original.
Go to your layer pallet and if you see that your image is called Background you will want to convert it (the image layer) to a Raster Layer. To do this go to Layers, Convert to Raster Layer. The layer in the layer pallet will now be called Raster 1.
Now go to Effects, Plugins, and choose the plugin you would like to use. Plugins that have a properties settings interface will allow you to choose which presets / filters you would like to use or you can make and use you're own. If you like a setting you used you can save it so you can use it again in the future (most of the time) Make sure you install your plugins to the correct directories and that you have the right dll files. The source below has all that information.
