Exhaust Air
Exhaust Air

Is it a similar benefit for a Cold Air Intake and Cat-back Exhaust on a small turbo diesel engine?
Gas engine cars benefit with these mods because of increased air capacity (fuel air mixture) and improved back pressure with a modified exhaust due to mandrel bends. A diesel has a different combustion chamber and produces more power at a lower rpm. Plus their are other factors that differentiate diesel from gas. Please inform.
Adam K is right. A very cold air mix for a diesel is best. Cooler air is denser and can be easily compressed better. The only benefit about exhaust on a diesel is more noise.
