Anyone knows about engine oil tank plug stripped?

I went to change my engine oil yesterday. They told me the plug of my engine oil tank is stripped and they cannot release the old oil. Also the engine oil pressure on the pane is pretty low although the oil is full. Anyone knows what is the problem and how much it would cost to repair it? I don't have time to ask a garage and want to have a general idea of it before I go to a garage.

drill out the old plug using a left hand drill and an ez out.

they make replacement oversize plugs just for this situation.

need details on the car to answer the low pressire issue. what is mileage, make, model, etc.
