Volkswagen Rolls Out Wolfsburg Edition Passat
Volkswagen has once again created a special limited edition model to add up to the company's product lineup this year.
According to the Wolfsburg-based automaker, "Throughout its history, Volkswagen has offered special edition models for a variety of reasons. At times they were offered to celebrate a milestone or special event, such as the Bicentennial Beetle that commemorated our country's 200th birthday. At other times they were offered to further accent a specific model's image, such as the currently available Fahrenheit GTI. More often, special edition models have been offered to deliver an even greater value to the customer-something Volkswagen has consistently achieved with the Wolfsburg Editions."
Talking about special Wolfsburg Edition models, Volkswagen of America Inc. has recently announced to the public that the new Wolfsburg Edition Passat is now available in Volkswagen dealer showrooms all over the United States. Volkswagen said the Wolfsburg Edition Passat continues the tradition of offering special edition models with high value.
The Wolfsburg Edition Passat model will roll out in dealerships featuring a 2.0-liter turbo- charged engine under its sleek hood. The engine produces 200 hp, combined with a standard six-speed automatic gearbox equipped with Volkswagen's patented Tiptronic(R) system. The Wolfsburg Edition Passat retains some of the technical auto parts of the Volkswagen Passat hatchback model. But as expected for a special edition model, the Wolfsburg Edition Passat features some exclusive interior and exterior amenities. Outside, the special edition Passat comes with VW fog light or VW fog lamp, power sunroof, heated windshield washer, and 17-inch alloy wheels with performance tires for the vehicle to ride on. A host of amenities inside the Wolfsburg Edition Passat complements these exclusive exterior parts including heated front seats, 12-way full power adjustable driver seat, 4-spoke leather wrapped multi- function steering wheel, leather wrapped gearshift knob, and leather wrapped boot. In addition, 6-disc in-dash CD/MP3 player, and Sirius satellite radio are also standard components. Every Wolfsburg Edition Passat model comes with a unique and distinctive "Wolfsburg Edition" badge located in the driver and passenger front quarter panels.
The Volkswagen Wolfsburg Edition Passat won’t compromise the customers' safety. This special edition model is equipped with advanced safety components and passive driver assistance systems that are also found in other Volkswagen Passat models. These safety features include standard six air bags, optional two rear side air bags, electro-mechanical (electrically assisted) power steering system, four-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) with four-wheel disc brakes and Brake Assist (BA), and standard Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) that uses Anti-Slip Regulation and Electronic Differential Locking.
Volkswagen will only produce 6,000 units of the Wolfsburg Edition Passat model so you better hurry up and grab one. This special edition model carries a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of about $26,990, and comes with Volkswagen's new vehicle warranty program, which include 24-hour Roadside Assistance for four years, 5-year/60,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, 4-year/50,000 mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, and the 12-year unlimited distance Limited Warranty against corrosion or perforation.

How does one deliberately roll a disc in disc golf over a long distance?
I have found that for some of the longer holes I play, I have a better chance of getting further if I roll the disc. How can I consistently get the disc to roll? Is there a particular way I need to angle my throw? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.
The correct way to throw a roller is to give the disc an extreme anhyzer angle (rhbh). If you are right handed that's when you have the right side of the disc lower than the left. When you are about to tee off aim from head level instead of chest level as you would for a regular drive. Swing down and across, the disc should fly a short distance almost vertical in the air. Once it hits it will lift up and start rolling. It takes a little bit of practice, but is worth it.
Also make sure you're using an understable disc ( Roadrunner, Sidewinder)... it's easier to roll with these. If you don't have one throw a really fast disc.
