Block Chain

To block a driveway with posts & a chain to stop overnight parking, what do we ask for at a hardware store?

What would we ask for at say, Home Depot or Loews? What is the technical term for those posts and chains?

Besides posts ( metal or wood ) post hole diggers / concrete / chain / pad lock , you'll also need a way to hook the chain to the posts. In addition to that, you might want to consider getting some PVC pipe to run the chain through and also some reflective tape. Put the reflective tape on the PVC pipe. Otherwise, you might find yourself in the midst of a law suit. Also, remeber. This is only to keep honest people out. If someone wanted to, they can always cut the chain or the lock.
