Anybody Know about Car Headlights?

I recently bought Pilot Automotive Xenon White headlights bulbs 9005 and 9006 for my low and high beams and was told that they were white with a light blue. I had them installed on my 2005 Toyota Corolla Sport and was hoping that it would give off that white light with the hint of blue. However after seeing them at night they seem to be just plain white. Did I buy the wrong bulbs or am I missing something?

You will not get the kind of color you se on real HID systems in Projectors like the higher end cars out there. The blue is generally from the lens on the projectors. Plus the bluer the light is the less distance it travels so you are better off with just white.
