Car paint question (paint loooks lighter in the sun)?

I just finished painting my car door. While in the garage (and in the shade) the paint looks perfect and matches and the rest of the car. But when I pull it out to the driveway and into the sun, the area I painted looks noticeably lighter than the rest of the car.

Anyone know why this is and how to correct it? I used acrylic lacquer paint and clear coat. The color is the same as the color code sticker from the inside of the door side (cx).

Well, although you have the same color, it seems that you didn't use the same paint type as the car had originally and or did not apply it in the same manner. Many cars used an acrylic enamel as a base and then a clear... If you do not apply the same kind of paint in the same orientation as they applied it from the factory, the paint will lay different and look different when you are trying to blend it.

From what I can tell (without looking at it), you have one of two options... repaint the door or paint the rest of the car with the same materials you used for the door.
