How To Improve Your Driving Skills After Passing Your Driving Test
Passing your driving test is an exhilarating feeling. After all of the stress and worry of preparing for he test you can now relax and enjoy your own personal freedom on the open road. However you must remember that in terms of driving experience you are still a relative novice, and you should remember that a good driver is always learning and improving even further their skills at the wheel.
Whilst driving lessons and the test itself are very comprehensive and cover most of the major driving situations, you will still lack proper experience of driving on motorways, at night and in adverse weather conditions. New drivers particularly finding driving on motorways a challenge, because of the higher speeds involved and the need to look further ahead and anticipate earlier.
To build on these gaps in your driving abilities you can take an official Pass Plus course within your first year of passing your driving test. The course consists of six training sessions that are specifically tailored to develop your driving abilities further, and to introduce a range of special advance driving techniques. Participants in the Pass Plus scheme can also qualify for reduced car insurance premiums with certain car insurance companies.
Whilst taking part in the Pass Plus scheme will set you up for adopting good driving habits, the first few years of your driving career will still be very testing and challenging. You will encounter new and unfamiliar driving situations, which may leave you feeling nervous or hesitant.
One options is to fit a P plate to your vehicle. Just like L Pates they must be fitted to ensure that they do not obscure number pates, car lights or visibility. P plates will indicate to other road users that you are newly qualified driver, and will hopefully ensure that they will give you more time and allowances as you develop your driving skills further.
Sadly, even with P plates fitted, you will still find some drivers may be rude or aggressive towards you, because they feel you are not driving as fast or as confidently as they feel you should. Never react to this sort of bad driving behaviour, instead try to remain calm and focussed, and only drive at a speed or in a manner in which you feel comfortable.
After several months of driving it will be important to guard against complacency and overconfidence, as you are still at a high risk of having a driving accident, a fact that is borne out by the higher insurance premiums.
Remember that a good driver always takes great pride in their driving standard, and will continue to improve their ability behind the wheel throughout their driving career.

Ive never driven a standard vehicle in all my life.
You will catch on quick. Just find someplace with lots of room and no traffic or obstacles. A big abandoned parking lot or a field. Get someone else to drive the car there. Watch their feet as they are driving. then you take over. You'll probably stall it several times but I bet that after an hour or so you will have confidence to drive home. When you get so you can start off on an upward hill with out stalling, or rolling back, I'd say that you have it made.

What to run away from at the pet store
With all the pet food recalls and more and more ingredients coming out of China that are contaminated, we need to learn to read the ingredients on our pet foods just like we read the labels on our own food.
You should read the label every time you purchase pet food. Manufacturers will change ingredients on a whim if they can make the product cheaper and reap a bigger profit. Very few companies are as concerned about the health of your dog as much as they are about their bottom line.
Pet food is not highly regulated. Dead, diseased, dying and drugged animals are allowed in pet food. Many pet food ingredients are leftovers from meat processing for the human food supply and consist of ingredients not fit for human consumption. Here's what you should be looking for on each label.
Look for the Ingredient Statement on the label. Read the first five ingredients as these first five ingredients make up 90% or more of the total quantity of what's in the dog food.
1. Does the food contain a quality protein? Look for an identifiable animal source such as chicken meal or beef meal. This is a concentrated protein source wherein the water has been removed from the meat. "Chicken meal" is better to find on the label than simply "chicken" as the latter can contain a large quantity of water. It may be the first ingredient on the list, but doesn't necessarily make up the larger portion of the food due to the water content. Wheat gluten or corn gluten are protein sources, but they are not meat. Dogs and cats must have meat to live a healthy life. If your dog were on the loose in the wild, would you find him eating an ear of corn?
2. Look at the packaging. Does it contain a picture of a healthy dog or cat and then say things like "natural" or "wholesome grains" or "vegetables?" The term natural is meaningless as it is not regulated. There can be some natural ingredients in the food, but there can also be chemical preservatives that can cause cancer such as BHA, BHT, or ethoxyquine. There are some pet treats on the market that are labeled natural, but contain propylene glycol, a form of antifreeze!
3. Wholesome grains are not whole grains. The term wholesome grains can simply mean the addition of wheat gluten which was the source of the largest pet food recall in history. Whole grains are excellent sources of protein, fiber, B vitamins, iron, and other essential minerals. They also provide carbohydrates that a dog (not a cat) needs to provide energy. Look for ingredients like ground brown rice or oats in a dog food. Soy, corn, corn gluten, wheat, wheat gluten and rice gluten are cheap sources of protein. These grains are also prone to molds which can be toxic.
4. Look for the term "by products." If it says by products, don't buy the products! These are inferior protein sources and can be difficult for your dog to digest. These can be all the parts of an animal unfit for human consumption such as hooves, feathers, intestines, etc. By products contain ingredients you would never knowingly give to your dog.
5. What are the sources of fat? The fats in dog food should be animal based. This is what your dog evolved to eat. Your dog cannot be a vegetarian or vegan and maintain health. Fats should also be identifiable such as "chicken fat" or "beef fat." If the ingredients state "animal fat," it should not be fed. It could (and probably does) contain road kill, spoiled grocery store meats, euthanized pets, or zoo animals.
6. Check for vitamins and minerals. A list of added vitamins and minerals should be on the label, but avoid the ingredients menadione and sodium selenite. These are cheap and non-bioavailable sources of vitamin K and selenium respectively.
7. Your dog food should contain fruits and vegetables, but not as the primary source of nutrition. The first ingredient should be meat and everything else should follow.
While this short article does not cover every single detail of purchasing pet food and reading labels, it provides the consumer with some guidelines for a happier and healthier dog. Go beyond the fancy packages and read the ingredients. Your dog deserves you and he certainly deserves a good diet.
Just remember that what you find on a dog food packaging isn't necessarily what you'll find on the ingredient label. Packaging is advertising and is meant to entire you into buying that particular product. The packaging is irrelevant-read the ingredients. You'll soon find that even so called premium dog foods contain junk that you would never feed your dog.

Should I drive it home with bad antifreeze leak?
On my way to work this morning my 02 Focus was reading HOT. Once at work I look under the hood and I have a bad antifreeze leak coming from the thermostat housing. I want to know rather I should drive it home or have it towed. I have 2 gal. of 50/50 to refill on the way if It starts to heat up. Whata think?
i would try to make it home, or preferably, the nearest repair shop, just watch the temp gauge and be sure its completely full before you leave, both the radiator itself and the resevoir to the normal level. you should probably check the level about halfway home, but be very carefull opening the cap, as it may spray boiling water at you. the best way to open it is with a heavy rag over the cap and turn it only part way, then leave the rag but move your hand when you hear it start to hiss. once it stops hissing, carefully finish opening it, and stand back just to be safe, then slowly pour antifreeze to fill it back up. also, as someone else said, don't try it if you have to go more than say 15 miles or so, or if you will be in heavy traffic. good luck.

Diagnosis steps:
a. Remove all the mobile devices. (Such as floppy, CD-ROM, battery, PCMCIA, etc.). If you pick up to expand Wu station, need to remove the laptop from the DOCK.

Burned fedora's iso image to usb but got error and it didnt work?
I have windows xp as my operating system. From the internet i downloaded the live image of Fedora-12. By unetbootin, i burned the iso image of Fedora-12 to my usb.
Now when i booted the computer,it did boot the usb but everytime while Fedora is loading, in da end i receive one same error saying " tried to remove a fb that we didn't open "

Yes you can erase some of them with some Code Readers. The point of the Check Engine Light (CEL) is to warn you that something may be wrong with the car. I hope you have taken care of whatever the problem is, rather than erasing the internal code. In some cases you can get a CEL and it really isn't anything that needs to be worked on, and sometimes there is a hard failure and if you erase the code, it will come back. I just had a CEL on my 996tt and it was three cylinders that had a "Miss" and I heard them when I started the car after it had been sitting for a week. The Durametric software can erase many more than a standard Code Reader. It can erase things like Seat Belt / Air Bag problems, Security Problems, Heating and A/C problems and the Code Reader cannot.

Locking Cd/dvd Drives for Protecting Them From Children
Imagine: it’s a summer evening. You are sitting in front of your home computer and playing Solitaire or any other computer game you like. After some time you decide to have a rest. When you return to the room, you find your child playing with CD, DVD or Blue-ray drive of the computer. Of course, DVD drive is a rather fragile device, and it’s very easy to break it down. Soon you find out that it’s even easier than you could imagine. After buying a new drive for optical disks you start to search the solution that can help you to lock the device and thus prevents your child from playing with it.
Though there is a number of freeware utilities designed to lock CD/DVD drives, the most advanced and comfortable in use is not a free one. Before writing this article I have tested three different freeware utilities (I won’t name them in order to avoid offending of their developers) and decided to buy the pay one. The first of these freeware utilities refused to run under Windows Vista, the second one could lock only one DVD drive of the two installed on my computer, and the third one removed the lock after computer’s waking up from sleep mode. I decided to pay a bit more and obtain the utility running under Windows Vista, working with any amount of CD/DVD drives and providing reliable protection for those devices.
The utility I liked most is called CD-Door Guard. It’s easy to find it here: http://www.m-w-c-s.com. You can download trial version that will work for 10 days after you install it. The price of CD-Door Guard is $15 per license. I suppose this purchase is a good investment because you save about $50 on each drive that you can protect using it. That’s not an advertisement; I speak as a satisfied buyer of this software.
What do you get for your money? CD-Door Guard has 10 times more functions than any other freeware utility. It will automatically close the CD/DVD drive’s tray after certain time if you forget to do it; it supports hot-keys to open or close the drive’s tray. The utility even reminds about forgotten disks inside the drive when you switch off the computer or switch it to sleep mode. You can choose different settings for each installed drive for optical disks. For laptop users CD-Door Guard offers locking DVD drive when Windows goes to sleep mode. Now when you push the button on the DVD drive, it won’t open and you won’t crash it. DVD drive also can be locked when Windows starts. You can customize “sound effects” and make CD-Door Guard beep when it locks or unlocks DVD drives. The only inconvenience is that the sound of CD-Door Guard is similar to the sound played by my antivirus when it detects a malware. So I had to turn off this option in CD-Door Guard.
The main disadvantage of CD-Door Guard is a large number of different switches in options window. I was a bit confused when I saw them for first time. But after studying them attentively you find out that all these switches are useful in different cases. CD-Door Guard supports different languages: it’s useful for those users whose native language is not English. If you speak not only English, you can create translation of CD-Door Guard and receive a registration key without paying money.
As it was mentioned above, I’m a user of CD-Door Guard, and I can definitely say that this utility does 100% of what it is supposed to do. I can rate CD-Door Guard with the highest mark. It’s simply the best utility you can choose to prevent the crash of CD/DVD drive.

click on 'organise' (top left) say in documents then 'select all' then right click on the page and send to your Fdrive. It takes awhile but it will work

How can i repair a bike puncture without a repair kit?
I need my bmx bike for tomorrow, but it has a puncture. I do not have another tube or repair kit and all the shops are closed today, how else can i repair the puncture?

When i start my computer a message saying "windows installer" pops up. and then everything i click on the message pops up it slows down my computer and stops some things from loading. i have tried system restore and virus remover nothing is working! somebody please help

First Impression
According to NewAir, the AC-1300E portable air conditioner is very similar to the ACP-1400E, but with a newly styled body. The sleek white finish made the unit unobtrusive and the elongated body design was perfect for corner placement in our bedroom. The VFD screen was easy to ready and provided bright light and clear contrast. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that the screen lit up in the dark. Large, built-in casters let us move the unit from the bedroom and down the hall with ease, while the remote control allowed us to control the NewAir ACP-1400E from 50 feet across the room. Moreover, we were also happy to note that this unit used a standard 120-vot household outlet.
Cooling Power
The NewAir ACP-1300E featured 13,000 BTUs of cooling power and this was more than enough to cool our bedroom. Auto-evaporative technology eliminated the need to empty any drain buckets, and we found that the exhaust hose was wider and larger in diameter than those found in other competing models. In turn, this resulted in more efficient cooling and better airflow.
Dehumidification
In addition to providing cooling, this portable air conditioner also acted as a dehumidifier due to the refrigeration cycle. The NewAir ACP-1300E had an extremely large dehumidification capacity of up to 120 pints per day while using only 950 watts /10.8 amps of power.
Nose Level
While not completely silent, the NewAir ACP-1300E portable air conditioner was very quiet even on the highest fan setting (less than 52 decibels). We had the television on with the air conditioner running and found that it did not disturb our indoor environment in the least.
Built-In Air Purifier
The NewAir ACP-1300E was definitely multifunctional because it also included a built-in air purification system. Large airborne particles first passed through the washable air filter, while smaller particles were attracted onto electrostatic plates via the ionizer. Lastly, to address noxious household odors, an activated carbon was able to aid with odor adsorption.
In closing, we found the NewAir ACP-1300E to be a great portable air conditioner that was perfect for cooling personal spaces. With so many wonderful features, this unit proved to be a great buy.

Is it possible to drill directly into a PVC drain pipe to create another drain?
I have a portable AC unit which spits out about five gallons of water per day (I live in Florida) which I have been emptying into a bucket.
My goal is to create a drain that the AC unit can drain directly into. I have located a drain pipe (coming from a bathroom faucet) that I can easily access.
My question is, can I just drill a hole into the drain pipe and insert and seal w/ pvc glue a smaller PVC pipe which I could then hook the AC unit up to? I figured this would be much easier than having to plumb in a T joint (I think thats what its called).
If this is possible, would I need to make a trap or could I just have it directly hooked up?

Yes you can do this.
YES you need a trap to prevent the back-flow of methane gas.
I wouldn't do this if you have a septic system; it invites a potential problem [although minimal] with the drainfield and the unknowns of the effects of two bacterial/fungus composition
