How many Saturdays a month do you have to work? Is there a schedule or how is this determined?
And are you allowed to go in extra Saturdays to make more money and finish the trainee program quicker? Say 3 Saturdays or even 4 a month?
MTs work about 3 sat. in a month. There is a schedule that they have for you. For example; if the office's hours are 7:30 Am-6p Mon-fri. You are likely to come in at 7a and clock out at 7p. If you are working a sat., you will have to flex during one of the weekdays. Depending on how determine you are, you can complete the program in 9 months.

I took my jeep grand into the shop to have the coolant system flushed - now my heater is blowing cool air? why
The heater starts blowing warm air then turns to cold.
What would cause this?
It is an 2001 jeep grand cher - v6.
It was just int he shop yesterday 12-1-07 and working fine, now not very well 12-2-07.
Probaby air bound, they failed to put in enough coolant.
Take it back for a recheck. NO CHARGE.....Mechanic error.

Can any one suggest Automotive Car Lift?
I am still trying to find the best value in a car lift. My garage is crowed with three cars and a wood working shop. I want to put a car in the air so that I can get it out of the way and work on them easier. There are a lot of hobby lifts out there but some are not worth the effort. "Back Yard Buddy" seems to be the best but it is also expensive. Any Suggestions are highly being appreciated.

Wish I had your problem... Got 3 cars but no garage I have a friend that has a lift, but, I am not sure the brand. I will try and get the make, and model next time I talk to him. But yes I can suggest you to look out for some options available on net. try google or yahoo search

How can I install sockets in my shed?
SORRY if this is posted three times... I have been having internet problems, causing everything to be triplicated.
I want up to three 2-gang sockets in my shed, mainly to run a fountain pump, outdoor lights (few hours per day), plus occasional use of lawn mower, hedge trimmer, etc.
The shed is like a brick extension to the house, and it appears possible to run cables under the floorboards (house is elevated) out into the shed without them going outside (had been done previously, but stripped away).
Would I be able to have these sockets added by extending my downstairs ring circuit, using 2.5sqmm twin-core and earth cable? Would there be any problem (e.g. voltage drop) due to long length of wire between sockets - at most, the cluster of sockets would be 6-8 metres from the neighbouring sockets on the ring (back in the kitchen), and can this be got round? If this plan is not feasible, can you suggest a suitable alternative arrangement?
You can do it in the way you suggest but there is not a need to break in to the ring main. All you need to do is run a spur from the ring main and this can be done by just running a plugged in cable from one of your existing sockets and terminating at your new sockets which are then series connected or break into the wiring with a junction box and run the spur that way.

One of the most important tools in an automotive repair shop is the auto lift. Providing access to the under belly of a car or truck, automotive lifts make the job of car repair much easier for the home garage or auto shop. Choosing a lift that meets your needs is the key to profitability in time and money. There is a large variety of lift types available to meet the needs of anyone who is looking to purchase one. Keep the following in mind when choosing the best automotive lift for you.
Auto Lifts For The Home User
Consumers with a garage at home can now easily perform maintenance and repairs on the undercarriage of their automobiles. The convenience of owning a home auto lift not only increases the productivity of repairs, but also increases the amount of storage space available. Home automotive lifts usually involve a group of four posts, pneumatically controlled to lift an automobile safely.
These lifts provide a safe means to raise one's vehicle for access to the car's undercarriage for transmission and oil work. Automotive lifts also provide increased storage space, by allowing the consumer to lift their car out of the way and to open up the garage floor space. Lesser used vehicles and box storage can be placed on the lift and raised out of the way. Then, you can park your own vehicle underneath the lifted platform.
Automotive lifts are great for people who collect cars. A typical garage can only house two cars, but with use of a lift, four cars can be efficiently parked.
Auto Shop Automotive Lifts - Features To Consider
For more serious garages and commercial operations, there are heavy-duty automotive lifts available. Standard equipment usually involves one, two, or four post lifts. The final choice involves the balance of lift capability, lift stability, and available additional space for the lift equipment. These heavier lifts usually require additional maintenance. The industrial nature of these auto lifts means that their maintenance is better left to professionals if the user has any doubt about being able to work the equipment while maintaining the designed safety features.
One post lifts are the most economical in terms of space. The two varieties of one post lifts are centered lifts and offset lifts. Centered one post auto lifts have a lot more strength than offset one post auto lifts. Offset lifts provide space for a vehicle to be placed underneath a lifted object, providing space economy. Four post models also allow for the same space saving capabilities as a single post model, but they do require more space and power. The upside to a four post lift is a greatly increased power output (four times that of a single post). The two post model is a balance between the two versions.
Auto lifts give a home user full access to their vehicle from different sides. This allows you to perform maintenance and repairs on your vehicle from the comfort of home, saving you both time and money.

How to swap a 5-speed into a 99 auto Wrangler?
I have a 1999 Jeep wrangler 3sp auto, I want a 5-sp because I hate auto. I got a really good deal on this one and thought I would be happy. I have a lift and bigger tires and I like everything about it but the auto so I don't want to sell mine and get a 5-sp. What do I need to swap the 5-sp in? Do you know of any websites that could help? Thanks for the help.
That would be a lot of work. You would have to fab up a clutch pedal for it then buy the hydraulics for it. Then you would need a new flywheel (yours doesn't have one it has a flexplate) a new engine controller. Then you will need to cut hole in the floor for the shifter. Oh you will have to get the shifter also. I know there is more that I am missing but I can't remember. Either way it is way to much in time and money to be worth it.

spark plugs are hard to get out of the spark plug socket?
If I'm taking the old plugs out are adding new plugs in to the car, the spark plugs are really hard to get out of the spark plug socket .Any tips to loosen the rubber inside the socket ?
Pop that stupid piece of rubber out of the socket with a small screwdriver. I hate those things. Keep that little piece of rubber though, makes reinstalling the plugs a lot easier, especially one plugs that sit way down inside the head.

Bath Toys And Caring Tips
Both you and your kid adore bath toys. Your kid loves it because they're fun to play with and they make him forget that taking a bath is sometimes scary. You love it because it keeps your baby occupied while you get done with your thorough baby bathing duty.
Because bath toys have inevitably become an important part of your baby's bath routine, it is just reasonable that you take good care of his bath toys.
First tip: Clean the bath toys regularly. Even though bath toys gets to have a bath too when your kid does, it doesn't mean they shouldn't get their own time slot for cleaning. Oftentimes, when your kid takes a bath and plays with his bath toy, there are soap residues left in the bath toy that you may not be able to rinse out because of course, it's your baby who's needless to say is the star of the show and whom you're focused on.
So after your baby's done with his bath, don't forget to wash the bath toys with water thoroughly to rinse out any soap residue. Clean water-retaining toys at least once a week with a mixture of one part chlorine bleach to fifteen parts of water. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid bacteria build-up that can cause infections.
Second tip: Air dry the bath toys or dry them under the sun. Especially those that are made of cloth should never be left lying around all wet and cold. Not only would they acquire an unpleasant smell, the dampness may cause for it to accumulate mildew and bacteria which you certainly don't want to reside in any of your kid's toys.
Third tip: Disapprove any untoward behavior towards the toy. Frown on activities that involve chewing, banging or throwing around the toy. Even though your baby may be too young to understand the value of his possessions like his toys, it's not too early to begin to discipline him.
When he starts to bang his toy or try to bite the head off his Octopus Bath Puppet, what you can do is to gently take the toy away and then firmly say, "No, don't harm your toy." If he cries, don't just give the toy right away and let him do it again. Repeat taking away the toy and saying the same thing until he gets that you mean what you say. If you see that he treats the toy differently, be generous with praises and hugs and kisses to reinforce the proper behaviour.
Fourth tip: Alternate different bath toys so that they would not be easily worn out. If you give your kid the same bath toy over and over, not only would he be bored with it eventually but it will also fray the toy more easily.
Fifth tip: Store the bath toys properly. Don't leave them lying around where your dog can bite on them or your baby's older siblings can go get them. Store them in a mesh bag or a dry container.
Taking care of your baby's bath toys is important to ensure that they stay in top shape and enjoy more baths with your little one.

What are some tips on how not to get air-sick?
Im going overseas soon, and I usually get air-sick. And I dont like it very much. Tips on how to prevent it?
btw, my flights at midnight. so that makes it worse, because lack of sleep is actually the key things that triggers my air-sickness.
and please dont say just 'travel-calm drugs'. cuz i need mroe than that!
I would recommend taking Dramamine with some food about 45 min before you fly, this will allow enough time for the Dramamine to kick in and eating something with it will keep you from getting sick from just taking the one pill.
If you start to feel sick and cannot get to sleep before take-off be sure to take deep breaths, keep your eyes fixed on something about1- 3 foot in front of you (spot on the back of the chair, not a tv). try to sip some 7up (sprite is too sweet) throughout the flight to help settle your stomach. and don't read.
When you get on the plane just try not to think about it or you will think yourself sick.
Besides flying can be a lot of fun!

What are some great natural air fresheners that are organic and clean?
Someone I don't know too well has the greatest smelling house. I didn't get a chance to ask and it'd be very odd to ask now. They have a lot of cucina products I think olive oil scents, if that makes sense.
I love organic lavendar, i suppose olive oil if that's what I'm thinking of scents. What are interesting ways to make your house smell great without using things like glad plug ins, I find them quite expensive and wasteful.
Two methods come to mind:
1) cook up your favorite foods, and enjoy the odor from those . . . its an old Realtor trick, for example, to bake up cookies before an open house, to supply both cookies and the cookie smell to people visiting
2) look into 'scent pots' which are little pots that stay warm, and you put oils into them to evaporate and provide a pleasant scent; I'm sure you can find or maybe even make a lavendar oil:
