Every time my girlfriend and I "spoon" I get a hard on?
I like girls with BIG butts (and I can not lie) and my girlfriend just so happens to have one. Every time we "spoon" or "cuddle" or whatever you want to call it. I get a hard on. I think its because she puts her butt right up to my crutch and I just get excited. She said shes "Flattered that my soldier finds her so attractive but she is getting a little tired of him saluting her butt every time it gets close". Lol, (for real she said that). This has never happened to me before, and I'm wondering if any other guy has gone through this, and if so what did you do to stop it? Or did you just keep "standing at attention"?
@Destiny
WTF? Her and I have already had sex. I'm 22. I lost my verginity when I was 16. Not to put you on blast or anything. But I have gotten a hard on before. Just never gotten one because her butt was close to me.
Sorry I meant "virgintiy" not "verginity"
It's perfectly normal and your girlfriend shouldn't object to it.

Run Flat
Run Flat

How do I know if my run-flat tires are going flat?
I have run flat tires on my car and commute 30 miles each way to work every day. Pretty much all of the mileage is on the highway that is not in the greatest condition - lots of pot holes and cracks and bumps on the way. How do I know if my run flat tires have a hole and are going flat?
I have a Mini Cooper.
You should go to your nearest reputable service garage and request that they check the pressure in your tires and inflate them to the pressure recommended in your owner's handbook. Then look closely at how they look when properly inflated. If you notice any change in the ride or pulling to one side during the next few days, carefully compare how the tires look as compared to how they looked when properly inflated. If the look the same, they should be O.K. You should have the pressure in your tires checked regularly about every 6 months, unless you notice a definite difference in the ride or controlling of the car.

Setting the Record Straight for Cold Air Intakes Vs. Short Air Intakes
Let me start by saying that cold air intakes and short ram intakes both have their pros and cons. That being said, they are also very similar. The Short Air Intake System, AKA as a Ram Air Intake or Cold Air Induction, is a system that will utilize some type of external scoop that faces forward on the vehicle. Normally, it works with a pair of snorkels or a single hood scoop through which fresh air enters. Now the Ram Intake does exactly what it sounds like. As you start driving, fresh air is “rammed” through your hood, forced down the intake manifold, and filtered through the air cleaner. Once you hit thirty five mph, this intake system will act similarly to a turbo charger; taking in more and more air to increase your horsepower. Oh yea, and they are much cheaper.
Let’s look at Cold Air Intakes. The Cold Air System replaces your stock air cleaner box and its plumbing with a simple tube that relocates the air intake to a position where it is picking up cold air from outside the engine compartment. This system consists of a large tube that allows greater airflow capability than the stock filter system. I’ve noticed that people have expressed concerns about water penetrating their engines with this system. First, it is HIGHLY unlikely that this will ever be a problem. Rain and water droplets are no problem. The only case that could be a potential threat is if you drove into an extremely deep puddle, submerging the intake head. The car would have to be in the water so that the intake was submerged, and then it would start sucking up water, making your engine hydro-lock.
In both cases the intake is collecting air from outside your engine compartment. The purpose of the intake is to collect a colder air charge than inside the engine compartment, allowing the fuel management system to give the engine a denser air/fuel charge into the combustion chamber. To clarify: Cold Air = More Horsepower. The warm air from your engine compartment is good for fuel economy, but because is has less oxygen molecules than a cold air charge, the fuel will be leaned out. This increases your fuel efficiency, but decreases your horsepower. To conclude, you should look at your car and figure out what system will work with your car’s ground clearance and hood type.

Tire Pressure Monitoring is Not Just for Show
The tire pressure monitoring system is an electronic system and what it does is it monitors the level of air pressure or your vehicle's tires. That way, you would not have to park your car somewhere, get out of your car, and go around just to check if all your car's tires are still inflated just right.
However, unlike your vehicle's external Mitsubishi OEM parts, your vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system has been actually created not just for you to boast about it but to actually help you save your life.
Come to think of it, the tire pressure monitoring system is made up of just four little sensors that you can find on your vehicle. When one of your vehicle's tires suddenly starts to lose air, the system would actually alert you while you are driving so that you would know about your tire's situation. You see, if you drive with under inflated tires or over inflated tires, you and your passengers have a great chance of meeting accidents and being in a very dangerous driving condition. On the other hand, if you do have your tires inflated just right, you benefit a lot out of it. Not only are you safe, but you also get pluses. Your vehicle gets to perform at its best and in different aspects from steering to comfort, to noise, to fuel economy to braking, and even to cornering.
Jim Gutting, the director of General Motors' Tire Wheel Center, shares, "Tire pressure monitoring is wonderful technology that has the potential to help make our roads safer. But it's no substitute for being conscientious about tire maintenance. All vehicle owners should familiarize themselves with TPMS, how it works and what it can tell them about basic tire maintenance."
If you think that the amount of air pressure your tires have inside it are no big deal, then perhaps you should let the statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) change that thought for you. You see, according to the mentioned group's data, there are about 660 fatalities each year which are actually caused by vehicles with low tire pressure. However, that is just the one part of the whole picture. There are also some 33,000 injuries per year to add to that.

How much should I expect to pay for a mountain bike 26-inch rear wheel and tire?
Bike was leaning against a dumpster with a badly bent rear wheel and blown out tire. Bike is in great shape otherwise. Been told that I cant switch the rear wheel myself cause you need a special tool for swapping the gears. I just want to make it functional..where could I find used parts if that makes it cheaper??
If it's a Huffy, Magna, Next, Roadmaster, it isn't worth fixing. A good / bad sign is if it has a quick release on both wheels. If it doesn't, it's likely a low end bike that would cost more to repair than it's worth.

What is a good way to re inflate a tubeless tire?
The tubeless tire on my wheelbarrow came off the bead. How can I get it back on and re inflated? Someone told me to spray carburetor cleaner in the tire, put it on the bead as best I can and then ignite the cleaner, but this seems dangerous. Is there a better way? Any help would be great.
try this but be careful starter fluid. push down the rubber wall of the tire and spray a small dab on the rim inside. like less than one second worth than light it with a match but don't get your fingers close it will pop and you don't want them between the rim and rubber. i use a small torch don't use a litter.. after it pops you will need to fill it up. u don't even need to take the weal off wile during this. but be careful the first time..

Wall Street Logic Got You Twisted in Knots?
It’s a simple fact: Goodyear Tire (GT:NYSE) lost money last quarter.
We’re not looking at the kind of money a major bank or a Wall Street brokerage can lose when they really set their minds to it. If those guys can’t flush a couple of billion a quarter down the crapper, then they just aren’t trying very hard.
Perhaps GT should look into the 24-karat gold plated office desk Giorgio Armani was pitching at this year’s International Furniture Exhibition at Milan? An expense like that for the C-suite could elevate the most prosaic Akron CEO to the same level as such exalted poster children of failure as Bank of America’s Ken Lewis (not fired - yet), Societe Generale’s Daniel Bouton (finally “quit” his position as Board Chairman), or maybe Bernard Madoff (jailed pretty much forever).
Reversal of Fortune
Still, a $333 million loss is a pretty steep reversal of fortune when you compare it to the $147 million the tire maker brought down a year ago.
The causes of all this pain probably seem pretty obvious to anyone who has been following the situation here in the States. When Detroit can’t sell cars, Akron can’t sell tires to Detroit. What’s more, sales of replacement tires (the source of some 80% of Goodyear’s profits) are pretty bad too, right about now. All told, units moved are off 20% and dollar sales are down 28%.
And while the recession may be deeper in some parts of the country than in others, Goodyear’s declines were remarkably evenhanded: All four of their sales regions saw marked falloffs.
Bald, Broken and Out of Control
(Now here’s a frightening thought: Not only are a fair portion of the folks around you on the highway driving cars of suspicious mechanical condition that probably ought to have been traded in by now, but their tires are getting bald to boot. Hmmm: perhaps a short play on a car insurance outfit like Progressive Insurance (PGR: NYSE) is in order?)
Goodyear CEO Robert Keegan swears that they did their best to haul back on rising costs. Raw goods like rubber were up 31% in the recent quarter. But the company skimped and saved where it could (that means it fired a bunch of people off the factory floor) and it actually managed to reduce cost of goods sold by 19%. Selling, administrative and general expenses are down 16% (that means it fired a bunch of white collar workers too).
Looking forward, most analysts figure that we have at least three, if not five, more quarters of pain like this coming down the pike. Chrysler’s bondholders just decided to take 20 cents on the dollar in cash now, rather than any deal involving stock shares. If GM isn’t bankrupt by this time next week, it will certainly be a fraction of its former size.
Heck, even my favorite amongst the former “Big Three,” Ford (F: NYSE) (current gains here are up to 300%!) is only looking this good because it cut the fat to the bone a year ago.
A Reflection of the Truth
Simply put: Goodyear won’t be selling but so many tires over the next 12 months. As Mr. Keegan put it: “While we aren’t satisfied with our results, they generally reflect the difficult market conditions.”
So one might imagine that an announcement of a grand old American Blue Chip’s slide into loss would cause their shares to slide as well? It’s just common sense, right?
Wrong!
GT shares actually shot up nearly 20% on this news.
When Is a Loss Not a Loss?
Why the spike? Various news services are touting that this result is actually not as bad as a panel of unnamed analysts predicted. Bloomberg, for example, notes that the mean prediction of the seven analysts it polled called for an operating loss of $1.33 a share, while Goodyear operations actually lost a mere $1.19 a share.
In the perverse logic of Wall Street spin, this is not actually a 322% decline quarter to same quarter, but rather a glorious 11.8% victory. And how much do you want to bet that next quarter, when Goodyear announces a crushing loss of similar proportions, the spinmeisters try to claim that losses are leveling off because they are no worse percentage-wise than they were the quarter before.
As hair-tearingly frustrating as shams like this are to those of us who still have some kind of preference for such ideals as honesty, decency and common sense, they do represent a bit of an opportunity.
A Ladder to the Moon
This 20% ramp job didn’t come on the heels of a generally depressed share price: Rather, GT has been moving up steadily for weeks now. Since hitting its decadal low of $3.73 back on March 6, GT shares had already gained some 181% going into today’s clown show.
No player wants to stand in the way of a bus like this. In fact, a good portion of yesterday’s run-up problem came when all the wise guys with short positions were forced to buy back shares.
But sometimes it can be a bit of fun buying what nobody wants… and right now nobody wants put contracts on Goodyear. As I sit to write, GT July 10 puts (GT SB) are trading for a mere $90 a contract.
Make 129% When the Ladder Collapses
The GT chart shows genuine support down around $7.50. Even if GT were genuinely good to go (and believe me, it’s not), it would still come back to test that node before continuing onward and upward. And at $7.63, those puts would be worth $206, for a gain of some 129% in relatively short order.
Now please understand that in the modern market, betting on common sense winning out is considered pure speculation. ’Cause that’s just how twisted this whole deal has become.
Still, it’s an interesting way to make some decent coin while twisting back just a bit.

I am starting a hypermiling experiment with my 1996 Nissan Altima.---Questions about tire pressure?
The tire wall says max PSI 51, and I filled them up to 50 PSI. It was roughly 75 F when I filled the tires. Should I decrease the amount of air in the tires due to them heating while driving??? Decrease pressure when it gets hotter outside???
Again I want maximum safe tire pressure.
Maximum tire pressures as stated on sidewalls of tires are cold pressures. This means the car hasn't been driven for a while, and the tires have not been baking in the sun. 50 psi is extremely high for your altima. Inflating your tires to this point can lead to very poor handling and very poor tire wear. Over-inflation such as this will cause your tires to wear rapidly down the center. this means you will be buying tires soon. If you are trying to save money by over-inflating your tires, you are wasting your time. There is a reason that tire makers do hours of research for each tire. If you are trying to save gas, take all the crap out of your car that you dont use on a daily basis and drive conservatively. 40 PSI is plenty, just moniotor your treadwear.

Learn how to change a motorcycle tire
Most people who love riding a motorcycle would agree that there is nothing like the feeling of freedom you get on the road. It's easy to find people that love riding motorcycles. But it's even easier to find people that hate the things that come along like the motorcycle tire changing experience.
Although it is kind of unpleasant, it is extremely important to check the condition of your motorcycle before taking the road. You can get technical support by going to a service station for a total check up of your motorcycle. However, it is best that you learn at least some simple and crucial things about your bike. Knowing how to change a tire could help you to avoid some pretty complicated situations. Below you can check some tips about how to change a motorcycle tire. You can also purchase a tire changing tool kit to make your tire changing experience goes easier and faster.
Changing a motorcycle tire by yourself will also save you some money. But if you think it's too difficult to change a motorcycle tire manually, try the tube snake tool; it helps you change your motorcycle tire in an easy and quick way.
To change a motorcycle tire manually you have to follow these instructions:
• Use a wrench to loosen the nuts so that the wheels will come off.
• Now deflate the tire and slide the rounded end of the tire between the tire tool and the rim. Be careful to not pinch the tire. Take the tire away from the rim by locking the free end of the tire tool into the spokes.
• Slide the other tire tool between the rim and the tire. Work this tool around the rim until the tire comes out by itself.
• If the tool gets stuck, lock the free end into the spokes and start again working with a third tire tool. Now remove the tire and the inner tube from the rim.
To install a new tire, follow the instructions:
• Take a new tire and slip one edge of it around the rim. You can do this either manually or you can use a tool.
• Place the new tube completely inside the tire making sure you line up the inner tube valve with the valve hole in the rim (the tube snake will help with this step!). Now push the tube inside the rim. Push the tire as much as possible in the second edge of the rim. Continue fitting the tube into the tire until it fits appropriated.
• If some portion is not installed, insert a tire tool between the rim and the tire. Lever the tool upward to fit the tire over the rim edge. If necessary, you can also use a second tool to fit the tube.
• Roll the tire into the place over the rim edge. Work gently to avoid snapping the tire as this tends to pinch the tube and cause air leaks. Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure written on the side of the tire. Now you have successfully changed the tire of your motorcycle!

How do you seal motorcycle tires or tubeless tire?
I have a nail lodged in the tire still and it leaks air when I try to pull it out. I think its a pretty hole too. So how do I seal it and with what?
if you dont know what you are doing, take the whole rim and tire off and take it to a shop. Your life depends on your tires....If you screw it up and the plug comes off you may make the 6oclock news. If the shop screws it up, your kin might make a pretty penny off suing the shop after you become roadkill.... THERE ARE NO PRETTY HOLES ON TIRES!!!
If the hole is anywhere near the sidewall, replace the tire.
