Dell Dimension 4600...why won't it turn on, and why are none of the diagnostic lights lit up on the back?
Dell said that we needed a new power supply, but that didn't work. There is a green light on the motherboard, but that is the only indication that the unit is receiving any power at all. Nothing happens when I press the power button. I fear I may need a new motherboard, but in the meantime, is there a way to transfer the files, pictures, and music onto another computer?
I have no idea what a USB drive enclosure is. I also don't know where my hard drive is located. Give me a break, I just opened up the dang thing. =)
Yes, but you have to remove the Harddrive from your computer and use a USB 2.0 to IDE drive adapter cable. With that you will be able to access the files on the harddrive. It is simple enough for those who do not have experience with computer.

How do you snap the chalk lines for a bathroom if you tiling diangonal(50 offset)?
Square up the main area,stretch the line between opposing corners.
Does that mean snap 2 lines one from corner to corner diangonal both ways
Paper cut is mostly right.. But you ll have use either a "T" square or a regular square and go off the biggest site line and measure both ways using the square Usually 2 foot and draw a line between those 2. This will give you a 45. Using 2 walls as suggested , I wouldn t trust since I ve never found walls and or tubs to be a perfect 90. If its a small floor and you can start at a back wall or tub you may just start off w/ a 1/2 tile in the back and go. Being a diagonal you won t notice walls being off a bit if they are. GL

A deceptively well-engineered furniture style whose parts are assembled mainly from wooden sticks, Windsor represents one of history's most innovative and recognizable furniture designs. The Windsor family of furniture consists of stools, chairs, cradles, stands, and tables. Chairs are the largest category with eight different basic forms, such as comb-backs, step-downs, and the sack-back version. Chairs also spawned nine derivatives that include stools, rocking chairs, writing armchairs, and child-sized chairs.

The origin of Wndsors is ancient history. Their antecedents can be attributed to the Egyptians, where tomb drawings of the 18th Dynasty depict workmen sitting on three-legged hand-hewn stools socketed to a plank seat. The reason for the name Wndsor is something of an enigma, but the most logical explanation is that they were named during the first decade of the 18th Century after the English town of Windsot whose beech trees provided a plentiful supply of raw material for legs and other turned parts.
Windsor chairs improved on the traditional joiner's chairs of the period by eliminating the need to glue-up seat frames. In a Windsor chair, the seat is a solid plank serving as the foundation for the legs and stretchers and for the spindle back. That simplicity and strengh of design is no doubt one of the keys to the chair's undying popularity and longevity.
Windsor chair making started as a cottage industry in England during the 1720s, but soon became an important factory-based operation, employing hundreds of workers, centered in the town of High Wycombe. Although the first Wndsors in America were chairs imported from England, Philadelphia chair makers almost immediately capitalized on this popular new form of easily made seating. Their one-man shops expanded into large factories.
English chair makers took advantage of the physical properties of different woods for different components of the chairs, using ash for bent parts, beech for turnings, and elm for seats. Their American counterparts used hickory,red oak or ash for bending, maple for turnings, and pine for seats. Windsors were traditionally painted green, but other colors such as blue, mustard and red were also used. The paint concealed the different wood colors and served to protect the wood outdoors, while conveying a unifying wholeness to the piece. Many English chairs were simply dip stained. Green painting is using environmentally friendly paints and applying environmentally friendly painting and cleanup techniques. Green painting is not only good for the environment but it is also good for you in that paints can cause harm to you through the inhalation of dangerous fumes and from potential paint entering into our groundwater. While paint getting into our water system or groundwater is rare, it can occur as a result of improper painting cleanup techniques. An added benefit to green painting is that it won’t cost you any more than conventional painting. It’s just a matter of changing habits and taking a few extra steps to ensure a healthier painting experience for you and the environment around you. Many aspects of green painting surround painting cleanup and disposal of unwanted or unused paint. Below you will read practical tips for green painting cleanup.
Green painting Cleanup Tips:
When finished painting, make sure to scrape any excess paint from the can, latex rollers and brushes. Using a stir stick or wall scraper works really well. Scrapping excess paint before washing your painting tools will make them easier to clean. And the main idea behind scrapping excess paint is that it is better for the environment in that you will be decreasing the amount of paint going down the drain when you later wash the brushes and tools.
For extended paint projects, consider holding back from washing your brushes and tools each day. Instead wrap the brushes and tools in plastic wrap or plastic bags and you will be able to reuse them with no problem the next day. Make sure you keep the brushes out of the sun so that hey don’t dry up.
When it comes time to washing your equipment, the safest way is to wash in a sink or similar drain and not in a drain on the street or outside in your yard with a hose.
Consider washing your brushes and tools in a large container and then taking the dirty water to your local waste depot. They will be able to dispose of the contaminated water in the safest way.
Store paint cans upside side to prevent any leftover paint from drying out and also keep the paint cans sealed tightly.
Additional helpful tip: To prevent overbuying of paint, try to make as best of calculation as possible for the amount of paint that you need. A typical gallon of paint covers about 400 square feet so keep that in mind when planning your paint purchase.

Not wearing a wedding veil?
I don't want to wear a veil at my wedding, I'd rather a tiara. But in all the pictures of tiaras they're also wearing a veil... Is it okay if I just wear a tiara? I'm wearing Alfred Angelo dress number 6495. Would a tiara look right with it?
Also, my reception is going to be semiformal, but for catering purposes I'm only allowed to use disposable dishes. Would it be okay if I use clear disposable dishes and those disposable eating utensils that are painted to look real?

if so, tiara would work fine. even though it's semi formal it's your wedding, and you should stand out! do whatever you want it's your day!
a lot of brides wear the vail as they walk in to say their vows and take them off before/during the reception. your choice 
clear ones would look fine. but there are also great styles of disposable dishes. there are these ones that are all white and square, very modern. then there are even some with some great dented in designs.
i think you can find utensils that have a real look to them with out getting them painted. check your local super markets, or party stores, or even online. im sure you can find some great stuff.

Keratin glue or micro rings for hair extension application
In the past hair extensions were seen as a luxury item reserved for celebrities only. Today, hair extensions are no longer just for celebrities. Due increased demand for extension services, many stylists have received training to attach and remove hair extensions. The industry as a whole has exploded to include a minefield of different methods of attachment available. Keratin glue and micro-rings,the most common methods are compared below.
Keratin Glue application
Keratin glue is heated in a glue gun with the hair extensions literally glued to the existing hair. The keratin glue can withstand both heat and chemical treatments. An adhesive remover is used to remove the hair extensions dissolving the glue bonds to a powdery substance. If excess glue is used the extensions may become heavy placing excess pressure on your existing hair. Breakage can occur with fine hair as the sticky glue is combed out.
Micro Ring application
Micro rings are arguably the best method of application of hair extensions. A small metal tube is clamped over the real hair to attach extension hair. Good quality micro-rings are light weight with a silicon inner lining to prevent hair extensions from slipping. Due to the light weight of the rings there is no damage to the roots of your existing hair. Removal is simply done by lightly unclamping the micro-rings allowing the extensions to fall out. Can I use regular hot glue to bunch hair extensions together?
I want to use the micro link aka clamp method to do hair extensions, but the beauty supply store closest to me only sells human hair on a weft, so i would have to cut it off, and then but this special hair extension glue for about $70, but i want to know if it will be okay if I use regular hot glue from a craft store...

Is there a way to sharpen Craftsman drill bits?
I have a bunch of dull drill bits (ranging in sizes from 5/8" up to 1"). They are the new type with a screw tip so they pull themselves through the wood as you drill. But whenever I drill and hit a nail with one of them, it's ruined. Does Sears make a spade bit sharpener for this purpose?

i have a sand disc memory stick ?
well i used it for the first time round a friends. but when it came up the programme i was looking for wasn't on it . does this mean i have to redo it again ?
plug it in and go down to the start menu, click search and type the program/file you are looking for, this will take you to the file location, as it will search for all programs by that name on your computer and any portable memory.
If the file you are looking for does not appear from search, it ain't on there.
