My power steering pump is making noise on the morning only or when the engine is cold?
My power steering pump is making noise on the morning only or when the engine is cold? What happen if I dont fix it? The steering wheel is still smooth but is noisy when the engine is cold especially when you turn the steering wheel.
What should I do wait for the pump to fail complety? What happen if I dont take action now? Would it mess up other parts?

The belt is new , the belt sentioner pulley is making noise That is a different noise
I'll replace the belt tensioner first that's more important then I would go to power steering pump noise.

Save Money With DIY Laminate Flooring
Laminate flooring has come a long way in the last five years. There are more varieties, colors and grades than you can imagine. Not only is it more reasonable than hardwood, but it's so easy to install that the average do-it-yourselfer can take it on. The result is a high quality floor that looks almost like wood, and if installed correctly, supports a hefty warranty period. Some brands warranty their laminates for over 25 years.
Here are the steps for installing the Torlys Quick-Step flooring and some of the details you need to be aware of that apply to most laminate flooring.
Place the boxes of flooring in your home and allow 24 to 48 hours to climatize before installation. If installing in a new home, you may want to run a dehumidifier for one week prior to installation. The humidity should be approximately 40 to 60 percent.
Thoroughly clean and level the sub floor using self-leveling concrete for anything more than 1/12" per 39 1/2".
The flooring basically floats, but it requires a 3/8" expansion gap around the outside of the room or any fixed objects. If your baseboard will not cover the gap you can either add quarter round trim or undercut the drywall and slide the laminate under the wall.
When laying over concrete floor, it's important to determine whether you have a moisture problem. Tape pieces of clear polyethylene plastic in several places on the floor, leave for 24 hours and check whether condensation has formed. Any extensive water build-up or leakage need to be fixed before laying the floor.
Before placing the laminate, start with a 2-mm layer of underlay of antimicrobial foam with attached self-sealing moisture barrier which provides sound absorption and warmth. The underlay is placed in the same direction as the planks. Generally, these are run parallel to the flow of natural light or to the longest wall.
Overlap the underlay about 4" up the wall to create a vapour barrier. In doorways or cut ends, seal with damp-proof or tuck tape. When attaching one row to another, pull back the foam, removing tape on adhesive strip and replace foam to form a continuous vapour barrier.
Lay down a test row of laminate planks, ensuring the last plank will not be less than 8". For the first row, begin in the corner and move left to right keeping the groove in front of you. This small step will make the rest of your job easier.
When you're ready to begin, open several boxes and choose packs randomly from different packs, inspecting each before laying.
Saw off the tongue off the long side of the first row of planks (and the short side of the corner board), so they will fit nicely against the outer edge and create the 3/8" expansion gap. Don't cut your last plank until all the pieces in the first row are clicked in place.
Uses the wedges provided by the manufacturer to create your expansion gap for the outer perimeter. When starting the second row, it should be smaller than the first piece you used in the previous row, but no less than 8". This will stagger the joints as you go along. Click the board into place by angling it slightly, insert tongue into groove, and rock it into place. Click in a scrap at the joints to keep both planks level, and using the tapping block, lightly tap into place.
When installing the last plank in the row, use the board puller to securely attach the plank.
Apply molding to finish off the edges in the doorway, still allowing for an expansion gap. Use T-molding to transition between two types of flooring and snap into place.

An aquaintance claims that her marriage records are sealed by her own legal right to do so. She is a collosal leg-puller but swears that even the fact that I know the person she says she married well enough to know where he was born, what his mother's maiden name is, of course his address and all that but also his marriage history will not help me. I laughed and told her that marriage records were always public else rich glitterati would never get "outed" but she insists. I would like to know the easiest way to track if such a marriage ever happened in Colorado, and if not, is this a blanket law in every state? Also since she is always dumbfounded when I quote chapter and verse, I would love to know the statutes that address this specifically, and if I could prove how I could access public records, it would shut her up for a while! (I love research so she throws these little challenges at me now and again. So far I win.)
i dont know about Colorado but in california you can keep your records private by putting on the marriage form that you want your marriage records to be private that way the couple does Not have to announce it on their local newspaper it'll remain anonymous

What do I do to stop a Squeaking of Steering Wheel?
Every time I turn my Steering Wheel while driving my steering wheel squeaks, I checked the Steering Wheel Fluid Level and it was fine, and I also checked the Transmission Fluid, and the Oil Level and they all were fine, does anyone have any suggestions to what the problem would be. Thanks
I have a 2000 dodge neon, and the steering wheel has not been repaired or looked at for a while. What would happen if the car is not serviced fast enough and the Wheel keep squeaking?
It is likely that your steering wheel housings are making contact for some reason.. inside the car. I am not sure what kind of car you have or exactly where you are hearing the squeek, but I have had this problem before and it is usually caused by the plastic covers over the steering column that make it look cool.
Has anyone serviced your steering wheel lately? If you have had a horn repair or ignition key repair, for example, the technician had to remove some of the housings and maybe even pull the wheel to access the horn or ignition key area. If not properly installed, they will squeek.
Another cause for this ocurrs on some vehicles when you use a product to clean the interior to make it shine. ArmorAll is a great product for this but if you accidentally get some of this stuff between the moving plastic parts on your steering wheel it could cause it to squeek as well. Have you done this lately? If so, it will take a while to go away, but should do so on its own, when the lubricant wears off a bit.
Removal of the steering weel is a difficult task for somene who does not have the proper tools, but sometimes pulling it and putting it back together will cure the problem. Look for plastic to plastic contact when you are doing this and you will locate the problem. Lubricating does not help much in this case as you need to simply provide clearance between the plastic parts to stop contact that causes the noise,

Make Easy Turnings With the Pontiac Steering Rack
Steering is the term used to the collection of components, linkages and others which allow a vehicle to follow the desired course. The most common steering arrangement is to use a hand-operated steering wheel to turn the front wheels. The steering wheel is positioned in front of the driver thru the steering column. The steering wheel, piston gears, racks and the tie rods are the parts that guides the direction your vehicle.
The two most common types of steering systems are rack-and-pinion and recirculating ball steering. In the rack and pinion steering mechanism, the steering wheel turns the pinion gear which moves the rack from side to side. The rack is sort of a linear gear which meshes with the pinion. This movement applies steering torque to the pivots of the steered wheels thru the tie rods and the short lever steering arm. The recirculating ball mechanism is found in older vehicles and is a variation on the older worm and sector design; the steering column turns the screw which meshes with a gear causing it to rotate about its axis which also moves the pitman arm which is connected to the steering linkage. The rack-and-pinion steering is where the rack-and-pinion gear set is enclosed in a metal tube called the Pontiac Steering Rack and where each end of the rack protrudes from the tube. The tie rod connects to each end of the rack. The pinion gear, on the other hand, is attached to the steering shaft. The motion of turning the wheel is transmitted to the pinion gear which also transmits it to the steering rack. When you turn the steering wheel, the gear also spins, and moves the rack. The Pontiac Steering Rack then converts the steering wheel’s rotational motion into a linear motion needed to turn the wheels. It also supplies a gear reduction which makes it easier to turn the wheels. Normally, it takes about three to four complete revolutions of the steering wheel to make the wheels turn from far left to far right. Lower steering ration means you do not have to turn the steering wheel so much to get the wheels to turn a given distance so the steering gives a quicker response. In the power system, there is a slight difference in the design of the rack. Part of the rack contains a cylinder with a piston in the middle which is connected to the rack. On either side of the pistons are two fluid ports. The power system, though it makes turning the steering wheel easier, adds a new dimension and complexity to the system. To supply high-pressure hydraulic fluid to the steering rack an engine-driven pump is used by the power steering rack.
The Pontiac Steering Rack is not exempted from any damages. The constant wear and tear can cause the Pontiac Steering Rack to leak. In order to ensure that steering is made light and easy there is a need for fluid and if the steering rack has a leak then it will not be able to contain the much needed fluid. Definitely, significant leakage is a basic problem of your steering racks.

Can I change an 89 Honda Accord Power Steering Pump Myself?
I'm not a mechanic, but I'm mechanically inclined. Can a non-mechanic, with basic tools change a power steering pump in an 89 Honda Accord? Has anyone done it and if so any pointers?

yes it is vairy easy power steering up is located on right hand side of engine at the top just loosen off tensioner undo two power steering hoses and fit new pump when fitting new pump it would also be a good idea to check for cracks in pwer steering pump belt when tightening belt just make sure the adjuser is done up enough that it takes the slack out of the belt and when you put the vehicle in full lock it does not squeel

how do i remove the steering wheel on my car, without any special tools, and it has an air bag?
Just grab the wheel with both hands, put your feet on the dash and PULL LIKE A MOTHER******!!!
And really hope that airbag doesnt go off in the process.....
