I need advice on inexpensive ways to soup up my iMac G3?
I want to give it max. RAM (512 MB) and a bigger HD but I want to know how I can get that stuff the cheapest and whether or not I can install that stuff myself. Will I need special tools or anything like that? I have a Torx screwdriver for the screws on the case of my old Mac Plus but I don't know if the iMacs still use those. The processor is a 350 mHz G3 and its the slot loading type of iMac. Would my mods be stymied by the 350 Mhz processor?

oh yeah, you could get cheap parts from eBay or even Amazon if you wanted. for cheap hard drives, just type it into gopogle and you'll get a whole bunch of shop. I got an 80Gb hard drive for £40, and that was over 18 months ago...they've gotten much cheaper since then.

Bought an Auto Fuse Tester.. like a screwdriver, with a wire and crocodile clip, but how do you use it?
There were no instructions on how to use it.. nothing on the box or inside.
It is like a screwdriver but has a pointy tip. There is a bit at the top for a plug-in cable which has a crocodile clip on it.

What you have is called a circuit tester. Here is how you would use it to test your fuses. Take the clip part at the end of the wire and clip it to something metal on the main part of your car. Usually the door hinge works good, make sure you grind it in enough so the metal clip will touch metal and not just paint. Turn your key on, then use the point on the fuses. If you look close on your fuses you might see two little holes, poke your tester in each of the holes, it should light up on both. If the fuse does not have a hole, then slide the tester along the side of the fuse until you can touch both prongs that stick out of the fuse. If the light only comes on on one side, then that fuse is blown.

What is the most compact cordless drill can do masonry work?
I was doing some internet search about drills with the following feature:
1-Cordless 2-Lithium ion battery 3-Con do miner concrete masonry work 4-Compact size.
My problem that I couldn’t find such features in compact size for my frequent use
Chip is right, using a good cordless will work for minor jobs but if your a pro get a Bosch Bulldog II hammer drill and quit fooling around with a compact cordless.They are small, power full and will last 4 ever.

My power steering pump is making noise on the morning only or when the engine is cold?
My power steering pump is making noise on the morning only or when the engine is cold? What happen if I dont fix it? The steering wheel is still smooth but is noisy when the engine is cold especially when you turn the steering wheel.
What should I do wait for the pump to fail complety? What happen if I dont take action now? Would it mess up other parts?

The belt is new , the belt sentioner pulley is making noise That is a different noise
I'll replace the belt tensioner first that's more important then I would go to power steering pump noise.

How can i wire my truck for power seats?
I have a 1993 ford ranger xlt. and i am going to buy bucket seats, but they are power seats, so how do i wire it up so the power seats will work?
Generally speaking, the seats will need a fairly heavy wire to carry 12 volts to them.
You should put a relay and/or a fuse in that wire, in case of overload.
I assume the seat switch is on the side of the seat? If so, then all the wiring for them and the seat motor should already be there, and all you'll have to do is get power and ground to the assembly.
A wiring diagram for whatever type of car the seats came from might not be a bad idea, either.
Also get an EVTM (wiring book) for your Ranger...it'll tell you where all the junctions, fuses, etc, are. You should be able to find a good place to draw power from with that.

Car steering wheel is moving on the bumps in the road problem?
I got 2 new tyres so i put them on the back and then i put the half worn rear tyres on the front.
Now if i go on bumpy road the steering wheel will strongy pull to the left or the right.
Why is it doing that? i know one tyre is worn more on the inside edge there wide sporty tyres.
I put new tyres on the back because its 4 wheel drive so more power goes to the back.
Your best tires should ALWAYS go on the front of the vehicle, because they do the most work and carry the most weight constantly. By putting on the rear tires, did you go side to side, because sometimes it makes a difference on radial tires. Also wear on one side of your older tires says you may have an alignment problem, I would get car checked out good luck

You need to account for coax losses and antenna gains. You can't just double the power input ot the system. Therefore you must calculate ERP (effective radiated power). The attached link shows an example of how to do this. Good luck!

spark plugs are hard to get out of the spark plug socket?
If I'm taking the old plugs out are adding new plugs in to the car, the spark plugs are really hard to get out of the spark plug socket .Any tips to loosen the rubber inside the socket ?
Pop that stupid piece of rubber out of the socket with a small screwdriver. I hate those things. Keep that little piece of rubber though, makes reinstalling the plugs a lot easier, especially one plugs that sit way down inside the head.
