Do the lakers still have the best bench in the nba even though their numbers are down from last season?
farmar and sasha have fallin off from last year and yes ariza has played well but as a group this unit has not been consistent all year ----so are they really the best bench in the nba?
no because this season the have been giving up leads with their poor shooting and soft defense ..........ariza has been solid but you don't know what your getting from sasha and farmar from gm to gm and I know some laker fans will say that having odom coming off the bench makes them better but that's not true when odom was part of that unit he was playing his worst and since he has been back as a starter he has step his gm up ........on the real cavs bench play better as a unit and so does the celtics.........im a laker fan but the bench is way overrated.

I have bought a semi-auto washing machine and the capacity is is 5kgs I do not know how to get the capacity?
right and if anyone has a idea about soap to use for my coloured dresses. I do not want to use omo because it will fade them. Thanks
There are lots of laundry detergents that say they are suitable for coloureds. Use one of those and don't have the water any hotter than hand heat. It can also help to wash the dresses inside out, I don't know why.
Do you have any bathroom scales or can you borrow ? If so, stand on the scale and weigh yourself. Then pick up armfuls of laundry until the scale registers 5kg more than it did before. Then you can get to know roughly how much laundry weighs 5kg. It isn't critical but if you overload the machine you won't get an efficient wash. Remember 5kg of towels will take up less room than 5kg of sheets, so you could try weighing yourself holding both sorts in turn. But if you can't do this you won't go far wrong if you don't fill the drum more than three quarters full.

removing the wheel on a 1992 Yamaha FZR 600?
I bought a center stand to lift the rear end up and I know how to remove it, the problem is the stand balances on the two bolts which hold the axle in place... All the videos I've seen of someone removing the tire have different places to rest the stand but i cant find them on my bike. Any ideas?
Sounds like you have a spooled stand, and youre using the axle rather than spools to hold it up. You either need a "L" stand or you need to mount spools to your swingarm to use your current stand. http://www.pit-bull.com/ has spool kits either to bolt on if your bike is so equipped or weld on mounts or tap mounts. The other ideas to remove your wheel w/o buying anything will work, it will be ugly and wobble but should work. Err on the side of caution and strap the bike to rafters or something so it doesn't fall.

ANALYZING FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF BANKS USING THE LACE RATING SYSTEM
Generally, it is very essential to find out the financial health of any instituion and more particularly Banking institution in india and abroad.One of the performance tool is LACE Rating and hence its stability is to be observed. Downward trends in the financial ratings indicate deterioration in the organizations financial condition. Continuous changes in the financial ratings may be indicative of instability. Banking organizations having low ratings (C, D or E) are likely to have financial problems and for this reason the accompanying ratios should be carefully evaluated.
LIQUIDITY
Liquidity in banking is very difficult to measure because a bank's liquidity position changes daily. Thus by the time the bank's financial data are processed, the ratios may not represent its current position. However, one must measure liquidity in the best possible way because it is the lack of liquidity which may bring about the closing of the bank if financial problems become known.
Two ratios are shown under the liquidity heading. The ratio of TI-VL/A.ASTS measures liquid assets minus volatile liabilities divided by average assets, which gives the net liquidity position relative to the bank's size. The ratio will vary considerably by the size of bank, with smaller banks having higher ratios on the average than larger banks. The ratio of LNS/AST stands for total loans to average assets. Generally speaking, the more banks are loaned up, the less likely they are able meet unforeseen deposit withdrawals.
ASSET QUALITY
Banks generally fail because of bad loans. For this reason, the ratio of nonperforming assets to capital should be reviewed, especially in relation to the bank's current and future earnings position. Banks having a nonperforming asset ratio to capital approaching 100 percent or greater and negative earnings are likely to be struggling for survival.
When evaluating asset quality, one should compare the ratio of CHARGEOFFS/ASSETS to the ratio of LOSS RSRV/ASTS (loan-loss reserve ratio). Under normal conditions, the loan-loss reserve ratio should be around the 1.25 percent level. If the level of nonperforming assets or the level of charge-offs is above normal, the loan-loss reserve ratio should be higher to cover future losses.
CAPITAL
In measuring capital, one should focus on the leverage ratio (basically equity capital-to- assets). This ratio should be six percent or higher for large banks and eight percent or higher for smaller banks. Important to a bank's capital position is a strong and steady growth in earnings with a low dividend payout ratio. This allows earnings to be retained for capital.
EARNINGS
The most important earnings ratios are those that represent the bottom-line of the income statement, mainly the ratios of income to assets or pretax income on a tax equivalent basis to assets. A return on capital ratio may be misleading because banks can increase the ratio through higher leveraging.
Analysis of bank earnings should begin with the net interest income ratio, which has been adjusted for tax equivalency. Higher this ratio the better, especially in relationship to other peer banks. The interest income, net interest income, and pretax income ratios should all be evaluated on a tax equivalent basis, which adds back to the income stream tax benefits. The no interest income ratio has become more important to banks in recent years because the deregulation of interest rates has narrowed net interest margins and has caused banks to rely more on fee income.
The overhead ratio should be looked at with caution because a bank's cost will vary by its type of operation. Retail consumer-oriented banks with a large branch network should have higher overhead costs and higher margins than banks specializing in wholesale banking. The ratio of provisions to the loan-loss reserve should also be evaluated in relation to the bank's margins. Higher provisions generally mean there are loan problems. However, further evaluation should be made by looking at the ratio of nonperforming loans to assets and at the bank's net interest margins. Sometimes higher risks can be offset by higher returns, but careful analysis should be made before making such a deduction. The pretax income ratio (put on a tax equivalent basis) allows one to evaluate the bank's overall earning strength without the effects of extraordinary items or tax credits.
From the aforesaid discussion, it is felt that, The main purpose of using this tool is to examine the validity and the reliability of financial ratios in an international comparison. The relationship between international accounting practices and the comparability of financial ratios will be considered. The outcome is to find out which financial ratios are the most appropriate tools in the international context, i.e. when comparing companies operating in different countries.

I found a 2000 ZX2 ford escort dual overhead cam engine 2.0lt on craigslist for $300 with 80,XXX Mi --- do you think it will fit my 1999 Ford Escort SE Sedan 2.0 L w/auto trans. --- and what do you think i should expect to pay for the swap?
Ive done this with an escort, but it wasnt those years, Escorts seem to be pretty standard as far as under the hood architecture.

Goal Setting Advantage - Legend or Logic? Part 4 of 4

In the first three parts of this series we have looked at goal setting, the process and the real research behind this to find out what makes a difference.
It seems that there is considerable support for the idea of SMART goals, yet there are still some issues with what the goal is. Is it an outcome or about performance?
Outcome goals - some issues
The problem facing many people with regard to 'Outcome' goals is that there is an element that is outside the power of the individual. An example of the potential issues with an 'outcome' goal comes from a rather sad testimony from one particular research participant:
"My goal was to have $3 million in the bank for my retirement by age 55. I achieved my goal with great satisfaction early at age 43. Unfortunately my bank was at the centre of a fraud and went under. 16 years later, I am still working and slowly rebuilding my goal. So, goals are important and we need to know what we want to achieve in life - just choose a goal only including yourself and don't leave all of it in one place."
Outcome goals are most often subject to others and to the environment. The greater the attainability of a goal through yourself only - I.e. Your own performance - the more you are in control of goal achievement.
Goals that have a high dependence on others and/or external circumstances are considerably more difficult to influence. As an extreme example, one survey participant has goal to win the lottery! Now there are certain things that you can do to increase the likelihood of this becoming reality, buying tickets is a useful component, but how many? Interestingly, another participant who had a 'money' goal did indeed achieve their goal - through winning the lottery! Though that wasn't the original plan and they rated themselves 'somewhat satisfied' in having completely achieved their goal. Whilst touching on monetary goals, another participant reminds us that being specific about your goal is important:
"My goal was to be a millionaire by 35... I achieved it the moment I stepped away from the foreign exchange counter at Jakarta airport!"
Following up with our survey participants revealed commonality in the way they went about setting goals and their subsequent actions to achieve their goals. We've already seen how those with the greatest success in terms of personal wealth had SMART goals. This isn't to say that success can only be measured by means of personal wealth at all - the original intention was simply to test the mythical Yale Study results. And, of course, someone could have set themselves a perfectly good SMART goal - but due to their own environment, had not accumulated as much personal wealth in terms of a standard currency - indeed, a person could have less in terms of monetary wealth yet be considerably better off in terms of the value they can obtain from less money.
Performance goals
An interesting aspect that began to show itself through the results was personal satisfaction in goal achievement.
People who set 'Ability' type goals, or 'Performance' goals reported to be 'very satisfied' with their achievements - whether completely achieved goals or not yet complete.
In part, this suggests the importance of personal values and suggests a question about the process by which they set goals. Through a random selection of fifty respondents we found that there is some commonality in the manner in which goals are set:
When we compare the groups of 'Very Satisfied' with their achievement and 'Satisfied' or 'Somewhat Satisfied' with their achievement. The first group were more likely to have SMART goals. The goal is described in sensory terms - what will be seen, heard and felt, and for a small number, smelt and tasted. Respondents were clear about what achieving the goal will do positively for them and the cost to themselves (and others) of achieving their goal. Their goal, they considered personally stretching yet 'knew' that they were capable of achieving it themselves.
More than 60% stated their goal in the present tense - 'I am' rather than 'I will be'. This provides a template for a useful goal-setting process that we've turned into an easy-to-remember acronym: SWING.
Goal setting process
1. A SMART and Sensory performance goal.
2. What will I positively Win and lose.
3. Am I In control of achieving this goal?
4. Stated as Now.
5. Guarantee - this is an added psychological process to ensure personal motivation towards achieving the goal.
Final thoughts
From our survey, those individuals who set performance goals using slight variations of this process represent a small, though statistically significant fraction of the sample that have a net higher annualised personal wealth accumulation (2.15 times) and are more satisfied than individuals who use only one or two aspects of this process. It is not the writing down of the goal that makes the difference, it seems to be the emphasis on performance or ability and the process of thinking through the goal.
And for those of you, like me, who just didn't get round to setting goals way back and worry that you might have missed out - well you can't go back and revise history, but you can create a new one now.

I have 2 8hp (k181) 2 12hp (k301) and a 16hp (k341) and I was wondering what the compression of these engines should be, I know it might be hard to get an accurate reading being that these engines have ACR. But I have gotten readings anywhere from 50psi to 80psi.

Those 5 babies belong in a museum! If you can get the Rpm's over 600, the internal tabs will move out of the way and you will get a true reading. 90psi-110psi is optimal, but the engine will run with as low as70psi.

my friends are PLAYING MODERN WARFARE 2 on 11-3-09?
I don't know how, but a couple of my friends got the full edition of call of duty modern warfare 2 before 11-10-09. i know it is not the beta because they have played far more than 3 maps and many gametypes like "special ops". (ps- there was a beta for game developers and testers but only 3 maps) does anybody know how they could have possibly gotten the game for the xbox 360? is there a hack?

Where can I find an ECU chip for my Volvo S40 2003 1.9T?
id like to tune my Volvo S40 sedan (North American Version) 2003 1.9T (170 hp) with an ECU chip.
but i cant find anything online...apparently volvos are not very popular.
On the other hand, i found an ECU chip for my dad's Audi A4 very easily. its the APR chip and there is a huge list of things you can put in an audi.
so im stuck now and i need a chip for my volvo just as the APR for the audi...
please help, thanks in advance
