what are the bmw made in usa or canada?
I love bmw. but I need a car made in the usa or canada in order to take it to mexico and leave it there.
I assume you want to import it into Mexico under the NAFTA guidlines?
The X5, Z4 and the new X3 and X6 are being produced in the US in South Carolina.
Previously the Z3 was built in SC and was the first BMW produced in the US.

If you had to pay more for a product that was USA made?
If you had to pay more for a product of equal value to the foreign competition that was domestically made would you? Is "Made in the USA by a US company" important to you?
Why or why not?
Generically I would say NO. I have several reasons for this. The first and foremost, is that while I have NO problem supporting local economies, I have a huge problem with supporting people who think they're worth more than they are, making their output/product cost more. For instance: Factory "A"'s workers have a union and insist on making a minimum of $20 to push a button 3 times a minute. Factory "B"s workers are non-union, and have a minimum wage of $10 per hour. If Factory B is profitable selling their product at 2/3 the price of Factory A, and the quality is the same, I will be supporting Factory B.
