For many students deciding on the right university for the next step in their education can be a very daunting one. A student specifically looking to serve God may choose a Bible College or seminary that focuses on guiding students toward a career in ministry. Then there are Baptist schools that are primarily focused on turning out moral and capable young people that do not separate God from personal, professional or any other part of their lives, whatever their career path. The Catholic schools teach many different subjects down to Islam and Ancient Greece but they are firmly rooted in the deep faith of Catholicism which may be off-putting for secular students or those from a different religion.
So, there are many things to consider when deciding on the right Christian University. Depending on personal preference and how strongly you may want to maintain a decent and moral lifestyle, there are many choices out there.

We are Idling our way to Deadly Consequences.
Is it possible that the time has come for us to re-evaluate the importance of what we’re actually breathing in here? Should we re-consider the consequences of this unnecessary convenience just to eliminate that simple walk?
Edmonton’s Drive-Thru’s contribute 25 tons of Green House Gases into the atmosphere each day. That’s 750 tons in a single month alone. These are startling facts and were researched from only this city alone!
This alarming discovery was given immediate attention by CTV news and revealing these startling estimated statistics May 30 2007 the source came from the University of Calgary.
Their research was based on daily estimates in the contribution of Green House Gases into the atmosphere. Edmonton’s drive-thrus as of this date are contributing an estimated 25 tons per day. Can this help repair the ozone layer?
Over a year, an estimated total would be 9000 tons just from this city alone.
Now let’s take this one step further.
Using a total of 115 cities with same population, same amount of drive-thru’s the outstanding shocker of the day would reveal a total of I MILLION TONS of Green House Gases to the atmosphere in one year alone.
We can’t even begin to comprehend what that figure would be world-wide over a period of only five years. And the irony of this is the fact that few seem to take note or consider the relevance to what we are doing to ourselves from this pollution.
Drive-thru mania is spreading like a bad disease across the US and Canada.
And there are two main reasons for their increasing popularity, convenience and money.
Chains are in frantic competition to offer the best service, while eliminating the cost of the larger restaurant. Offering the smaller restaurants with the drive-thru window, customers and owners alike are happy.
Some Startling Future Plans
• CEO Jim Keyes would like to see half of all the new 7-Eleven stores to be built with drive-thru’s.
• Dunkin Donuts decides 65% of all new restaurants will be built with drive-thru’s.
• McDonalds has 13,000 restaurants across the US however, 90% of them have drive-thru’s.
• The number of drive-thru’s has doubled in the last five years.
• Good To Go Fast Food in Houston Texas has fourteen drive-thru lanes to accommodate their customers.
With all this money making excitement building to new heights, owners are battling to reduce idle times in the drive-thru. Sounds like a sincere attempt however, you can only do so much with this idea as humans can only move so fast.
Additionally, if all the coffee shops, 7-Eleven stores, Taco Bell’s, along with Wendy’s, Burger King and McDonalds build or renovate new drive-thru windows, this sincere attempt only masks the lack of concern here and contradicts this idea of reducing idle time. Reason being, allowing for new drive-thrus year after year will only increase idle vehicles not decrease.
These drive-thru window services contribute to smog, emissions, noise pollution, air pollution, pollution within the store itself as employees at the window are constantly breathing in exhaust fumes. They add to our obesity problem creating a lazy society. They congest the parking lots creating line ups adding to even more idling vehicles.
Effects from Ground Level Ozone
Scientists have estimated that 50,000 to 100,000 deaths per year are associated with air pollution, a very disturbing reality. Regarding the ozone layer, 90% of ozone is good ozone however the remaining 10% is regarded as bad ozone and occurs at ground level as a pollutant. It’s called ground level ozone pollution.
Vehicle exhaust, solvents, industrial emissions and gasoline vapours are some of the major sources of bad ozone. Inhaling ozone at ground level enhances the lungs vulnerability to infections and increases sensitivity to other pollutants.
And repeated exposure to ozone can cause permanent damage to the respiratory system aggravating heart and lung diseases.
It damages plant life interfering with their food production hindering their resistance to insects, disease and polluted air.
Is all this for Convenience Sake, Money, Success?
Is the human species evolving or are we becoming selfish to our never ending needs, our services rendered mind set? Or is it because we cannot turn back the clock and change the structured society we all love so much?
Maybe we have misled ourselves in regards to the meaning of purpose. Materialistically speaking, is it our destiny or purpose to acquire as much as possible? Is our evolutionary success based on our technologically convenient lifestyle?
Or are we here to serve the almighty dollar?
Things can become interesting when viewed from a different perspective and we should seriously re-consider the consequences that may or will arise from our human behavioural habits.
That walk from the car is not all that far because regardless of how much money is to be made it is just never enough anyway.

apple macbook help with frozen?
macbook pro help please.I have something frozen on my desktop not sure what . It looks like a article or possibly something viewed on the web . Above this I see a square box it looks like spaces . I can only see the bottom .
I have tried everything to remove these 2 what ever they are but nothing . stacks seems to be frozen also so I am thinking this might be the problem .
Everything else works. I cant find these frozen things anywhere in the computer . I have tried tech tool deluxe.
other thing I need help with is
trying to load windows split half mac half windows . I dont think this computer came with leopard bought at the end of 2008 .mac os x for a 15 inch macbook pro . anyone know as I need something for the drivers to load windows and the leopard would be the thing.

Windows and Apple all suffer from the same woes. Security holes that lets in viruses, ad ware, and malware. I recommend downloading a free ISO Recorder/Burner program from the internet. The go to http://distrowatch.com and browse all the latest distributions and download a 32 bit Linux (which is free to use) operating system that suits you.Some examples are MacPup which somewhat emulates Apple os's and Zorin which emulates Windows.
The Macpup can be set up with an Apple style desktop (some other Linux distros can as well-you'll have to search them out,) and Zorin can be set up as a XP, Vista, or 7 style desktop.
There are hundreds of Linux distros and there's something for everyone. Anything that can be done and then some on that can be done on Windows or Apple can be done on Linux. Your computer will THANK YOU as you'll never have to worry about using antivirus worry about ad and mal ware, or defragment your hard drive. There are also hundreds of forums and all Linux os's have their own to help newbies.

I have a Power Mac G4 400 MHZ that I want to upgrade for a pro tools home studio.How can I max this Mac out ?
I need to upgrade this Mac for pre-production. I have about 400 to put into this and getting another mac is not an option right now. I can upgrade in stages if its more than 400, but i really need this to be up and running by Mid to late September. I'm thankful for any help at all, as heavily detailed as possible.

what does a tool battery do for psp?
i've seen this device at codejunkies.com where you can turn your regular psp battery into a tool battery and back again. what does it do? would it allow me to run emulators and other things on it from my memory stick because i've tried intsalling custom firmware on it from stylemo.com but it just wont work on my psp with 3.71 firmware which i've had since x-mas.
it sets the psp in service mode so you can install custom firmware. aka a pandora battery. with the magic mem stick it will allow you to run emus

When you uninstall applications Mac, several traces are usually left behind, such as associated files, preferences, caches and so on. Therefore, after you have removed an application you must then clean up the remaining files and folders. An application's files are usually stored in the /Applications folder on the boot disk.
You have to perform a number of clean-up activities to ensure that all traces of uninstalled applications Mac are removed. You might be doing this to save disk space, or just to maintain order. Whatever be your reason, it is good practice to always clean up after you remove program.
Check for additional folders: Some applications create a subfolder, or several, such as an application and a help or readme file. Check for such folders in your Library folder. Also check the Caches folder within the Library folder, where recently or frequently accessed information is stored. There may be a file or folder for the application you are removing and you can select it and send it to the Trash because it will not be needed any more.
Delete program configuration settings: An important subfolder of Library is Application Support and almost all programs store information like program configuration settings in here. There will be a folder named after the application or company and it is usually easy to see what a particular program has created. You should delete the folder or files belonging to the application you have removed by dragging them to the Trash
Delete your preferences: Nearly all applications store user preferences on disk in a special folder within the Library folder. Use Finder to locate this folder and delete it.
Delete application fonts: Some applications install additional fonts to your system. Having a large number of fonts can slow down your system.
Remove users' Library and Application Support folders: To completely remove an application and all its data files you must log on to OS X using each user account and clear out the user's private folders.
Delete Hidden files: Some application files will be hidden; use Finder to view hidden files and delete the files that belonged to the uninstalled application.
Check your Home folder: Browse around your home folder and you might find some items related to the software you are uninstalling. You can remove them, as they are no longer needed.

But you did say something about it being illegal, since you wouldn't be at risk of getting in trouble if you were going to carry it legally. In New Jersey a gun is illegal if illegally possessed OR if illegally carried.

Mini air compressor in locomotives supply pressurized air to the brake equipment disposed on the locomotives and any railway cars connected to the locomotives as well as for other air utilizing systems (such as air operated horns). The operation of the air compressor is critical in that without the pressurized air supplied by the compressor the locomotive and cars cannot be braked for slowing and stopping purposes. Yet, as a component located in a locomotive, the compressor is generally unattended other than when appropriate checks and maintenance procedures are undertaken.
What is therefore needed in the locomotive mini air compressor art and what the present invention supplies is a means for diagnosing the operating conditions and parameters of an air compressor, and reporting the same to an operator/engineer of the locomotive as well as providing controls that will stop the air compressor in the event of a critical event, such as excessive air pressure, excessive compressor or motor temperature or a loss of oil and/or oil pressure in the compressor. This is effected by locating a plurality of sensors at critical locations in association with the air compressor and in any apparatus associated therewith. Such sensors output electrical signals to an information processor having embedded therein electrical controls and information providing architecture that are effective for purposes, such as (1) continuing normal compressor operations, (2) noting the need for routine and/or extraordinary compressor maintenance and (3) ordering shut-down of the compressor.
When the mini air compressor is off, residual air in the compressor and associated components can be unloaded by operation of a magnet valve in an unloader line so that the air compressor, when ordered to restart, does not have to start against such residual pressure. This protects the electric motor employed to drive the compressor, if the compressor is driven by such a motor, i.e., some compressors are driven directly off the diesel engine of the locomotive, as is well known in the railway art.
