Trampoline Shopping – Which Models Are Best?
Are your kids clamoring for a back yard trampoline? Have you noticed that trampolines are becoming more popular, both as entertainment for young children and an exercise machine for adults looking for a low impact workout? There are many mental and physical benefits of having a trampoline in your backyard, but if you've been searching for information on the best styles and brands, you're likely to be more than a little overwhelmed with how many options are on the market. Like many other pieces of sports equipment, you're going to get what you pay for with a trampoline, and it's important to understand which trampoline accessories are worth the extra money.
The first thing to evaluate when you're comparison shopping for trampoline is whether or not a trampoline pad is included in the kit. This is one of the most important trampoline accessories for keeping the structure safe for jumpers, and if it's not included in your kit, you're going to have to buy it separately, which can get expensive. Look for a trampoline pad that uses either EVA or polyurethane for the foam cushioning. Those pads that use EPE for the foam cushioning should be avoided because it tends to break down quickly over time, leaving the metals bars and trampoline springs exposed.
Another thing that you need to evaluate when you're shopping for a trampoline is the type of trampoline springs that are included. Many discount brands of trampoline manufacturers will try to keep costs low by reducing the number and quality of the trampoline springs they include in the kit. Because the springs are directly related to the longevity and quality of the bounce, it's important to make sure they have the proper length, wire size and coil diameter. A typical fourteen foot trampoline should have 96 x 8.5-inch springs, while a twelve foot trampoline should have 84 x 8.5-inch springs.
In addition to springs, another important <a href="http://www.trampolinepartscenter.com">trampoline parts</a>
is the ring that connects the edge of the trampoline mat to the frame. These are typically called V rings, and you should look for trampoline brands that are at least 1.5 2 inches in width. The wider they are, the more stitching will be used to hold them into place. Since you can't have springs without them, it's important to make sure these connections are going to last. If you're going to store your trampoline outdoors, look for parallel stitching and anti-oxidant thread that is also UV-resistant.

Know About the Excellent Kitchen Work Triangle
One has to think a lot before deciding the actual layout for their kitchens. You should always choose an appropriate design which provides you maximum work space, optimum storage area and suitable cleaning unit. Your kitchen design depends a lot upon the shape and size of your kitchenette. The concept of a kitchen work triangle is not new and it tells us about the placement of essential elements in our kitchen. The three main areas of the kitchen include the cold storage area, the sink area and the cooking area.
A good lay out helps in limiting household traffic and provides you efficient work space where you can properly complete all your work. So, now let me tell you about some great tips that can really help design an efficient kitchenette.
1. Kitchen Work Triangle
We have mainly three workstations in our kitchenette which includes the cleaning area (the sink), the cold storage unit (refrigerator) and the cooking area (the stove). If these three elements are arranged properly then they create a good kitchen triangle which is very essential for proper work space and efficiency. There are various designs for the work triangle which you can choose according to the shape and size of your work area.
2. Calculate the dimensions of your place
Before deciding the design for your work triangle it is very essential for you to calculate the dimensions of your place. The total counter space should not be less than 12 feet and more than 27 feet. Each side of the triangle should not be less than four feet and not more than nine feet. The isles of your kitchenette should be around 48 inches wide to allow the people to move around.
3. Choose a galley layout
If you have a large kitchen then you have a large variety of options to choose from. A galley kitchen layout would be very good for you because it provides a good work area. All your kitchen cabinets, equipments and appliances can be placed on the opposite wall in this kitchen layout. You can place your stove on one side and the refrigerator and the sink on the adjacent wall.
4. Create an efficient design
L-Shaped kitchen design is greatly in demand these days because they provide you excellent work space and can easily accommodate two people at the same time. This layout provides flexibility in arrangement and also prevents household traffic.
A good layout can really make your kitchen impressive and elegant.

A strange bird?
I am going on a sea voyage, and on the ship, I entered the galley (ship's kitchen) - it's clean as a new pin, but there is a parrot in a cage in it, which screams, with great rapidity: "Pieces of eight! Pieces of eight! Pieces of eight!" till you wondered that it was not out of breath.
What does it mean?
Young master 'awkins, pieces of eight are Spanish gold coins, breakable into eight separate pieces for easier spending, and, I might add, easier apportioning for them as obtains 'em as loot. That 'ere parrot was accustomed to the free-booter's life, methinks, and treasure-'appy, at that!
Peraps 'e knows more 'an 'e tells 'bout an island with treasure, an' where the Hispaniola may drop anchor!

Vintage Jewellery: The Real Bling or Not the Real Bling?
Vintage Jewellery during the Georgian period (1714 - 1830)
The Georgian period covers a period of British history which spans that reigns of four kings, George 1, George 11, George 111 and George 1V as Prince of Wales, during his fathers', George 111s' illness. Vintage jewellery became available and fashionable during the Georgian period. Vintage jewellery during the Georgian period was used to simulate the real thing. Obviously this made expensive looking jewellery much more affordable. This was made practical as a result of improvements in the manufacture of paste gems. These paste gems could be set into all types of good quality settings to give the illusion of precious jewels. Georgian and subsequent Victorian vintage jewellery pieces are the earliest examples of the vogue for costume jewellery that survives in any quantity. The difference being, that during the Victorian period the vintage jewellery became unapologetically semi-precious or non-precious in its sourcing of materials. Design of individual pieces gradually over the two periods took precedence over the actual materials used within them.
The material pinchbeck, was used for the first time, as a substitute for gold for vintage jewellery. To the non expert eye it is impossible to spot the difference. The metal is the same colour as gold but an expert can distinguish it from gold by its weight. Pinchback is lighter than gold, it is made from a combination of Zinc and Copper. Although this was a common material for use in vintage jewellery during this period, few pieces of vintage jewellery created during this period has survived to be admired today. Vintage jewellery made from metal plated with gold is more common. You can see the difference between the two by checking the item for any points of wear, i.e. edges and hinges. A genuine piece of pinchback vintage jewellery will be gold at all these points of wear. Where as its gold plated compatriot will show the underlying base metal beneath.
Vintage Jewellery during the Victorian period (1837 - 1901)
Victoria reigned from 1837 to 1901. This period witness highly significant changes in fashion, these changes directly influenced the world of vintage jewellery. At the start of Victoria's reign during the late 1830's, jewellery was romantic and often, nationalistic. The general aesthetic led to the sentimental 'early Victorian look'. This look is given the label 'Victorian', but is actually caused by the tastes of her husband, and first cousin Albert. He was instrumental in the revival of the Gothic Style in Britain. The gothic trend influenced the design worlds of both architecture and fashion. This in turn feed into the design of jewellery.
The middle years of Victoria's reign saw great changes in the engineering. These rapid developments resulted in the start of, what is now recognised as the being of, mass production. This change can be seen reflected in the fashion world. Gradually the craftsman jeweller was rejected for the more affordable, mass produced alternative. Until this mid Victorian period, most western jewellery came from Europe. As a result of the changes in buying patterns and fashion, jewellery was soon to be imported from the Americas' and Australia. Some jewellers, such as the American Tiffany began to expand so greatly that they open their own retail outlets in major European cities such as Paris, Barcelona, and London.
The dramatic change in jewellery, in particular, vintage jewellery, took place as a direct result of the change in fortunes of the Queen. In 1861, Prince Albert died, and Victoria began, what was to be, a protracted period of mourning. Initially Victoria's mourning outfits involved no jewellery of note. As the months of the change in her vestige drew out however, more attention was paid to this aspect of her attire. Victoria started to wear mourning jewellery, gradually as the months drew on these initially, mourning items, became, fashion items. Whitby Jet, from the North of England being her personal favourite. Many examples of the trend can be seen today within the resulting vintage jewellery of this period.

Oil Ring
Oil Ring

Lamp ring fragrance oil diffuser?
Anyone use this method and if so, do you find that the ring falls off at the slightest movement spilling oil everywhere? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your input!
Nope, I thought they were such a great idea, so I bought them for all of the lamps in my bedroom, livingroom and family room. You aren't doing anything wrong, I had exactly the same thing happen. At first, I couldn't figure out where all of the oil was coming from. But, then I realized every time my housekeeper came and dusted the tables those lamps were situated on, the oil went everywhere.
You can get these felt and terra cotta diffusers which work sort of the same way without the mess. You soak them in the oil for awhile, blot on newspaper or paper towel to remove the drips, place it on the lightbulb and every time you turn on the light you smell the scent. I prefer the felt ones because I have two rambuncuous doggies and a vigorous housekeeper and have had the terra cotta ones fall and break. I've found the felt ones at the home improvement stores and the bed/bath stores (Linen N Things, Bed Bath & Beyond).

Take Advantage of Multi-Line Discounts
If you have your auto and home insurance with different companies, you are almost definitely paying too much! Most companies offer discounts if you have both your auto and your home insurance through them. Move your auto and your home insurance to the same company and take advantage of these discounts.
Save With Other Discounts Too
In addition to the auto/home discount, you may qualify for other discounts on both your auto and home insurance. With discounts, you can save money on your premium without having to reduce your coverage. Common discounts for your auto insurance include:
* Good-student discounts
* Defensive-driving course discounts
* Three-year accident free discounts
* Safety features discounts (airbags, anti-lock brakes)
* Anti-theft discounts (burglar alarms, steering wheel locks)
Common discounts for your home insurance include:
* Security device discounts (burglar alarms, dead-bolt locks)
* Safety device discounts (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers)
* Non-smokers discounts
* Construction features discounts
* Senior citizen discounts
The more discounts you get, the cheaper your insurance, so be sure to ask your insurer about any discounts you may qualify for and include them in your policy.
Shop Around
Insurance companies are definitely not all the same. In fact, your premium can vary by hundreds of dollars from one insurance company to another. The only way to make sure you're getting the cheapest rate possible is to shop around for your auto and home insurance.
Think that means spending hours on the phone calling or visiting insurance offices? Maybe ten years ago, but not anymore. Now, you can sit in front of your computer and get insurance quotes quickly and easily.
All you have to do is go to an insurance comparison website and type in your insurance information. Before you know it, quotes from multiple insurance companies will begin to arrive for you to choose from.
On the best insurance comparison websites, you can even talk with insurance professionals and ask about additional other ways to lower you auto and home insurance rates (see link below).

Stainless steel?
I have a stainless steel 11 quart pot that I've discovered what I think is a rust spot. Is there something I can buy to get rid of the spot or should I pitch the pot?
Yes, but very light rubbing with that scouring pad...or try "Bartender's Friend" or "Zud" or "Bon Ami" with some 0000 (very fine) steel wool and a little water...wipe out and rinse off the crud afterwards, then rub a drop of cooking oil on top that place. Always be sure that your stainless pots, pans, utensils are allowed to dry in such a way that ALL the water can drain out/off of them.

Kit Real
Kit Real

The Real Estate Investor’s Credibility Kit
The first reaction to most people when you tell them that you are a real estate investor is to look at you with a bit of suspicion and wonder. They wonder if “real estate investor” really means “freelancer” or “doesn’t really have a job.” Then, once they realize that you really do have a profitable business venture going, they start to wonder what exactly it is that you do and how you know how to do it.
With your friends and family it’s fine for them to wonder a bit about your business and even have some suspicions. However, when you are looking to transact business with someone you want them to have enough information about you, your skills, and your experience for them to decide that they want to do business with you. One way you can show prospective clients and business partners that you know what you are doing is to create a small investor’s credibility kit for yourself.
Your investor’s credibility kit doesn’t have to be something you pay a fortune to have created. It doesn’t need to be professionally printed on glossy paper. It simply has to show people your experience, and to help them to decide to work with you. It needs to show people that you can do what you say that you can do.
The first thing you credibility kit needs to contain is a short biography about your company. If your real estate investment business is new, then a short biography about yourself and your relevant experience will suffice. Keep it to one page and try to keep the information as applicable as possible.
If you have attended real estate seminars, trainings, boot camps, classes, etc… include a copy of your certificate of completion along with your bio. If the vendor didn’t give you one, print one up yourself and send it to them and ask that they sign it for you.
If you have bought and sold property already, then you want to get testimonials from any of your previous clients and investors who have agreed to be references for you. If you have not yet bought or sold any property, you could get testimonials from previous or current employers as to your character. In addition, you will want some names and phone numbers of references that people can call to check up on you.
Your investor’s credibility kit should be given to anyone you are approaching about conducting business with. Just the simple act of creating it shows people that you are serious about your business and that you can do what you are telling them that you can.

The main function of the brake system is to deliver needed safety while driving on the road. With such vital role comes the responsibility of extending life and ensuring its maximum performance. One such way to do that is using a GM brake dust shield.
Every time one steps on the brakes pedal, brake dust accumulate to form a black grime made of metal filings, carbon, and other ingredients. This is a corrosive by-product that, if not properly prevented, will become acidic and will definitely destroy the finish and cause pits that can weaken the wheel. A GM brake dust shield's main function is to act as a protective cover in order to minimize wear and tear. It does this dust by preventing the brake dust from making it to the rim or mags on the wheels and preventing by catches all the brake dust blown from the brake disc before they reach the rims. A typical GM brake dust shield is made of aluminum plates that are custom molded to specific vehicle brake system applications. Since it is located between the rim and brake discs of a car right above the wheel, this makes it easer for a more effective shielding and collection of debris. Moreover, GM brake dust shields do not interfere with the braking system and will not affect the braking systems' cooling or overheating.
The GM seatbelt is another GM part that contributes to road safety. A GM seat belt is a harness designed to hold in place the occupant of a car or other vehicle against harmful movement that may result from a collision or a sudden stop. As part of an overall occupant restraint system, seat belts are intended to reduce injuries by stopping the wearer from hitting hard interior elements of the vehicle or other passengers and by preventing the wearer from being thrown from the vehicle.
A typical GM seatbelt consists of a lap belt, which rests over your pelvis, and a shoulder belt, which extends across your chest. The two belt sections are tightly secured to the frame of the car in order to hold passengers in their seats. For more safety, seatbelt design continues to be improved. Energy-absorbing fibers, seat belt tensioners, and height adjusters are already available to make seat belts safer and more comfortable.
