When will someone make a hard case for the EnV3?
I want a hard case for the EnV3 (Preferably the one with the soft black rubber grip). I know the EnV3 isn't out yet, but is there anyone out there that already has plans for it in the works?
I'm sure many people are planning to make an Env3 case on ebay. Just wait until its out for a little while, and if you look on ebay there will be TONS of cases.

I would like to no all about the history and all the other suff about the cherry picker.
"A cherry picker. also known as a boom lift is a device that consists of a bucket at the end of a hydraulic lifting system, usually mounted on the back of a large vehicle such as a truck, or sometimes a stand-alone trailer. The bucket is designed for a person to stand in, and work from. Often a duplicate set of controls that are used to manipulate the position of the bucket will be available to the person in the bucket, allowing the operator to position himself. The lifting arms of some cherry pickers are capable of telescoping to adjust the reach of the device.
Cherry pickers were originally designed for use in orchards, (not just cherry orchards). It lets the picker pick fruit high in a tree with relative ease. Similar devices, also known as 'cherry pickers' are also used to service telephone, cable television and electrical equipment on utility poles. Some fire trucks have a cherry picker instead of a fire ladder, and some window cleaners also use them. Cherry pickers are also used in mining and construction."

Can you hand trace/tool/carve copyrighted designs for commercial use?
Is it legal to obtain a copyrighted design or image and use it to trace the design onto a product and then hand tool/etch/carve the design the image for commercial uses? (Like for an antique style item, but with a new design.) Does the hand tracing still violate copyright laws? If it does then I'm guessing I'd have to contact the owner for rights to the image. Also, if I free hand an image is that a violation of copyright laws?
The "copy" part of the word, copyright means that no one can copy the image, IN ANY FORM without the express permission (license) of the copyright owner. That's what copyright means.
Somehow, you have gotten the impression that if your "copying" is done by hand, rather than some mechanical means, it's okay to use it. Sorry, but you've been misinformed.

There is both an overview of the subject. Amazon states of the product description of this item comes with two batteries and a charger with two ports. Black & Decker product description shows that the three batteries and three connections from the charger (which makes sense, given that there are three instruments require batteries, and many reports indicate that this battery is not very long).
Amazon customer service can not be verified or is correct, I only suggest buying things, and if it becomes full. As if the proposal is ridiculous, can someone who has bought this case to tell me if it comes with two batteries, three, or if the battery and may be two or three batteries?

great combination of useful tools
Have used these only for a couple of weeks. The trimmer has a strong cut, and the blower works well on walks, driveways and patios to get the small trash away. The "hangers" are not as easy to mount as I woulod have expected, especially the battery charger.

I used to hate trimming my grass. I would only do it once a month because of the cumbersome electrical cords. It seemed to take much longer than it should. With this Grass Hog, I just take the trimmer off the hook, grab a battery, pop it in, and I'm off. It's light weight and I move quickly around my house and yard. The trimming is done is 1/4 the time it used to take, no kidding!
I've never had a blower before. After mowing I love the ease of using the lightweight blower to make short work of the stray clippings on the driveway, sidewalk and patio. It's not an extremely powerful blower, but it does the job for me. I wouldn't want a heavier one.
I've never operated a hedge trimmer in my life and was a little wary of trying one. But this one is not too heavy, has a great safety switch, and is easy to maneuver. It was more work to pick up the branches than it was to trim them!
I recommend this set for it's great convenience, ease of use, and the price.

Excellent product
This is the second time I purchased this set! The first set is over 10 years old and is still working but the hedge trimmer is getting dull. I tried to replace the blade but don't think they make a replacement (if they do, I couldn't find it). I then was going to just replace the hedge trimmer but since the weed whacker is used extensively and would probably need replacing soon, it made more sense to buy the set again and in so doing, get 3 new batteries and a spare charger too! I could no longer find the set in the stores and was thrilled to find it online. The fact that I don't have to mess with an extension cord or kill myself trying to start a gas model is a real plus!
If I had a complaint, it would be concerning the leaf blower which works OK on hard surfaces (garage floor and driveway) but is definately not powerful enough for removing leaves from the lawn.

Blower is Weak, NiCad battery life concern
I have not had the best luck with NiCad packs in the past. NiMH generally are far more accepting of leaving on a charger for extended periods, don't discharge as quickly, and would be lighter for a given capacity.
For now though, these are very light weight and quiet devices that simply put get the job done with no fuss.
The blower is a bit on the weak side, but effective enough for getting grass off the AC, patio, and driveway. Do not expect to be blowing small branches or even heavy leaf falls with this though, it doesn't have the oomph.

Have used since I bought at Amazon in April 2005 for $189.
I have since bought the B&D garden loper and the cultivator. Also bought an additional 2 batteries, so I am able to rotate the 7 batteries.
I have an 80 x 135 lot, and usually can do all the grass trimming on 1 battery.
Like many have said, the batteries do not last a long time and the blower is pretty weak.
On the other hand, I use the blower to blow the grass clippings off the sidewalk and blow all those pesky maple tree buds and "helicopters" off the driveway. Also is handy blowing leaves off the deck.
The convenience of not dragging a electrical extension cord around and maintaining a gas trimmer more than make up for any of the other shortcomings of this set.
I am more than satisfied with the set.

Extremely happy 3 years later
I've had these tools for over 3 years now, and am so extremely satisfied with them that I decided to post a review. Everything works wonderfully - string trimmer cuts and edges everything I've asked it to, same with hedge trimmers. Blower works great for clearing sidewalk/driveway, struggles with wet leaves on grass (but really isn't designed for that kind of job).
Batteries have worked so well that I've switched all my power tools to B&D. Of course the newer batteries work better/longer than the older ones so I pick and choose my jobs - older batteries for the flashlight, newer batteries for the circular saw and string trimmer.

For a scooter, one of the ways to solve this problem is to prime the carburetor before attempting to start it. A primer pump bowl is located at the bottom of the carburetor. The primer pump needs to be pressed and released several times until petrol can be seen flowing in the bowl through the clear tube attached to the fuel tank. Once the fuel starts flowing freely, the scooter should start. However, it may induce flooding if the activity is done once the scooter has warmed up.

The item that takes least inspection time in a scooter is the tyres. Though it is an easy task, it holds a lot of importance. It is very important to maintain the proper tyre pressure in both the tyres for two reasons. Firstly, A low Tyre pressure will make the scooter consume more fuel and secondly, a scooter balances on just two tyres, and incorrect tyre pressure can very easily lead to loss of control and and untoward injuries. Look for cracks and splits at the value stem and see that there is enough tread on the tyres.

A scooter will keep running without any jerks if the carburetor is clean of any kind of residue. The carburetor pumps the fuel and mixes it with air at the precise measurement. It uses a setup of small diaphragms, orifices and ports, which easily get clogged by contaminants. That is why it is imperative to use only the best, clean and new fuel in your scooters.

No matter how strongly scooter’s body is built, it is bound to loosen up due to continuous usage. Joints, hinges and other attachments tend to come loose because of the impact of speed breakers and potholes. Check these things to ensure that your scooter is properly assembled. Never continue using the scooter if you feel that any of the joints or hinges has become loose or if there is any disturbance in its balance. Get the looseness problem fixed before resuming the ride.

Adjust your carburetor and the idling speed to the optimum level. There is a small Golden colored screw on the side of the carburetor. This is the idle speed screw. This screw should be adjusted so the engine idles at a speed just fast enough to keep running. If the scooter does not idle properly, or idles too fast, you can adjust the idling by turning the screw. Turning this screw clockwise increase the idle speed and turning it counterclockwise decrease the idle speed. Always keep in mind that too fast and idling speed can be dangerous.

Spark plug is vulnerable to getting clogged both when the scooter is running too lean of fuel and also when it is running too rich of fuel. Depending on your riding habits and the scooters overall condition, the sparkplug’s electrode sometimes becomes white or sometimes becomes black due to gas, oil and carbon deposits. A clean sparkplug is crucial to the proper starting and proper functioning of the scooter’s motor. Keep the spark plug clean or replace it immediately if signs of wear begin to show. A scooter’s tool kit is always contains a wrench for the easy removal of the sparkplug. You can clean the deposits on the electrode by rubbing it with sand-paper.

The air filter is used to clean the air going into the engine. It protects the engine from the damaging effects of dirt and abrasive particulates. A clogged air filter will restrict the flow of air to the engine. Periodic cleaning of this Air filter is recommended for smooth functioning of the engine. The Air Filter can be located in front of the engine and usually behind a protective cover which can be removed with one screw. Clean the filter in a container of petrol/gasoline. Allow the filter to drive before you put it back on.

All automatic Scooters are of the “Twist the Throttle and Go” genre. The usage of the throttle in automatic scooters is very high and very extensive. The throttle tends to become loose and sloppy over a period of time. In such a case, the slack can be adjusted on the cable at the handlebars. Loosening the lock nut and adjusting the adjustment will screw will either loosen or tighten the cable tension. Once the desired tension is achieved re-tighten the lock nut.

Automatic scooters have both the rear and the front brakes as handbrakes. The brakes can be adjust at the handbrakes on the handlebars itself. Like the adjustment on the throttle cable you can adjust the tension of the brakes by first loosening the locking nut and then adjusting the adjustment screw in or out. Once the desired tension is achieved re-tighten the locking nut.
These are ten tips that will keep your Scooter running to its optimum performance for a long time. These tips, if regularly followed, will ensure that you will never have a major problem with your scooter throughout its life. Only if you don’t pay attention to any of these things, will you face problems like engine seizure.
