How do you use a ford fuel line removal tool?
I have a set of plastic tools and a metal tool that looks like pliers but can't get my fuel line off of the filter. Any help will be appreciated.
First figure out what size the line is and find the matching collar.
Snap it over the line near the connection you are trying to break loose, with the smaller end pointing into the fitting.
Then you have to push it into the connection to release the clips holding the line on the filter. You cant see em but they're in there. Wiggle it a bit to get it loose.
On one occasion the tool was too big and we had to cut a small piece of it off to make it work. But only a small piece, maybe a 16th.

Making the most of your BMW with Diesel Tuning systems
As a BMW diesel owner you have a number of options if you are planning to increase the performance of your car. There are a large range of BMW diesel models, and though the details of each model differ, the choice to make is the same whether you own a 320d, 330d, or a 535d. Broadly speaking if you are looking at retuning your car then you will most likely be looking at re-mapping the fuel injection system of the car, and therefore achieving a more efficient burn, more power, and perhaps even better fuel economy too. The re-mapping process can be carried out in one of two ways. One option is to re-programme the existing chip in the engine's management system. This process is known as re-mapping and needs to be carried out at a skilled service centre. The advantages of this system include the fact that it appears almost undetectable. However it is also difficult to reverse, and should there be problems with the engine you need to find somebody that can change the programming back. The other main alternative is to use what some call a "piggy back" tuning box, which is just plugged into the existing engine management system, and alters the fuel map according to its own pre-defined programme. The advantages of this system include the fact that it is easy to fit - in fact you only need to plug it in and it works. In addition it is completely reversible, so if you were to sell the car you can keep the tuning box - perhaps having it re-programmed for your new model. Looking at a few popular BMW models will allow us to see what kind of improvements are possible using this method. The BMW 320 D E46 is a popular diesel model, and comes in a variety of derivations. The 150PS model can be increased to 190 PS using a tuning box, while the maximum torque increases from 330Nm to 410Nm. Where could I find the video footage of Villanova's Allen Ray getting his eye gouged out of socket?
The camera angle on TV was from across the court and not zoomed in at all. I haven't seen it up close yet...but he's supposedly able to continue playing so maybe they'll show some other angles in future Villanova games.

Buying a Home with a Septic System
When you're looking to buy a new home one important aspect that many prospective buyers may overlook is if their home of choice is on city sewage or has its own septic system. Because a septic system is unfamiliar for many people they may not know what they need to look for when buying a home with that type of waste water treatment.
Septic systems take all the waste water from your home, including grey water (wash water) and sewage and treat it by settling out the solids, exposing it to bacteria, and filtering the water through a septic field of sorts.
All septic systems start with a septic tank made from a fairly inert material like concrete or fibreglass. This two part tank is where all the waste water from your home flows into. The septic tank has a divider with a hole about two thirds of the way up to allow fluids to flow through while blocking most of the solid matter and collecting grease at the top; this allows the water to flow out of the end of the tank with less impediment.
The top of the septic tank has two access hatches, one of each side of the tank for cleaning and pumping purposes. A septic tank needs to be pumped out every three to five years or when the tank is about a third full of solid waste. An overfull tank can cause the whole system to not function properly.
The next step in the septic system is the leaching bed; the waste water that comes out of the septic tank flows into a series of perforated pipes that are laid in gravel trenches. As the water seeps out of the pipes and through the gravel and soil, microbes clean the moisture of harmful components like bacteria before draining the water back into the ground water.
If the soil type isn't conducive for a proper leaching field there are ways to modify your field so that it can still properly clean the waste water coming out of your system. Alternatives to the conventional system can include using some type of trickling filter which will provide the waste water some additional filtering before releasing it to the ground.
Before buying a home with a septic system like these, you will need to have the system inspected to ensure that it's functioning properly and that's it's been maintained. Information that you will need to get from the homeowners includes records of septic tank pumping, cleaning, and repair; the homeowners should also tell you if there are any drainage issues with the system. If the home is also on a well, make sure that there are no contamination problems between the septic system and the well. An inspector will check for signs of problems with the system that could potentially cost you thousands of dollars to repair that you may not be expecting.
Don't be afraid to buy a home that is on a septic system instead of city sewage, as long as you maintain it properly it can provide you with twenty-five years or more of waste water treatment.

Home remedy for a tank thats too base?
My fish tank is too base.Any home remedies out there?
Generally I recommend buying fish to suit your water. Live bears like platy, molly, guppy, and swords love it. Gouramis thrive in it. Check your pH, and kH (hardnes) then look at http://liveaquaria.com for fish that suit your water.
The easiest way to make your water less basic is to mix in distilled water. Keep in mind pure distilled water is really bad for fish. (Note basic water is generally hard, and hard water doesn't easily change pH.) Also keep in mind that fast change in a good direction is very bad. Go slowly.

Are Motorcycles Efficient
Are motorcycles really as efficient as people claim they are? While motorcycles may be better on gasoline consumption than regular, mid-size vehicles, they are most certainly not the most practical choice when it comes to choosing a mode of transportation. Rather, whether or not you've made a good investment choice with a motorcycle depends more on where you live.
If you live in an area where the nearest store is over twenty miles away, motorcycles may not be the best option. Additionally, if you live somewhere where the climate is always damp and rainy, then you may need to look to a different means of transportation. However, if you live in a large metropolitan area such as New York City or San Francisco, you'll probably see a ton of people with motorcycles when it's nice out.
When my younger brother sneaked behind my mother and father's backs and purchased a motorcycle, they were furious. Often times, younger people will purchase motorcycles and ride them around as a form of rebellion against authority. I'll never forget being an accomplice in my brother's big scheme to earn his motorcycle license. He had just gotten his driver's license and didn't have a car yet. Then, one day, he asked me to give him a ride to some unfamiliar address. I dropped him off and asked him what he was doing, and he wouldn't tell me. When I came to pick him up later, he had told me the that he signed up for motorcycle lessons. I was shocked, but I didn't dare say anything because first of all, I could see how much this meant to him. Secondly, I knew that I was now a little in over my head. No matter how I would try to explain it to my parents that I had no idea that this was where I was taking my younger brother at first, they would never buy it. Instead, they would believe that I had somehow helped my younger brother look up the information on where he could take motorcycle lessons. At least, this was what I believed back then.
And with that, after a few weeks had passed, and I had driven my little brother back and forth to his lessons, he got into the car one day when I was picking him up and told me that he had passed his motorcycle road test. So, now it was off to the DMV to get his motorcycle license. Sometime later, when he had saved up enough money to actually purchase his first motorcycle, my parents were both disappointed and upset. They were upset because he had been so duplicitous. But more than anything, they (like anyone else in the world) viewed motorcycles as incredibly dangerous. After some time had passed, they eventually got over it and accepted the fact that this was something that they really didn't have any control over.
Today, my younger brother is now on his third motorcycle. He started off with less powerful motorcycles and eventually kept upgrading to the point that he now has the largest and most powerful motorcycle that he has ever owned. To this day, however, every time either of my parents hears the engine start up to my brother's motorcycle, they sort of stop what they're doing and sometimes go to the window to watch him take off out of the driveway. They remain hopeful that this whole motorcycle business will just be "a phase" that he grows out of with time.

Are battery powered scooters,motorcycles viable?
I am told that battery-run scooters are running popularly in
China & Japan.I live in India and here they are newly introducing this as an alternative.I want to take opinions from people who are familiar with this,before I take the risk of buying it.
The only major problem I've seen is there is no current way to re-charge on the go. If your bike is good for 12 miles, don't go any farther than 8 and be sure there is an outlet available at your destination to recharge. Also give yourself enough time at that destination to fully charge your cells.
Unfortunately no one will let you test ride a battery bike long enough to run through a complete charge. Usually you can borrow a friend's bike to try it out for a day or so. If you happen to have a friend that owns a battery bike that's great. Otherwise you have to just buy one and hope it is everything the manufacturer claims.
Be prepared to buy expensive replacement batteries quite often. If you can, look for a hybrid bike that uses a small 2-cycle or 4-cycle engine to keep the batteries charged. If you can't find anything like this you may be able to make one up yourself with an old weed eater motor and an alternator from a car. You just have to figure out where to get a 36V regulator.

I am an artist, and I wish I had your talent when it comes to drawing faces..I have such a hard time when it comes to drawing the nose..lol...but I really liked that pic, it was very creative. I liked the artwork on her face..very very nice!!! and ignore the comments about it not being symmetrical, human faces arent perfect assholes!!!

will a blaster coil Improve gas mileage?
I just recently bought a 84 Chevy blazer and I know they are not the greatest on fuel economy, and i was wondering what i could do physically to it to improve the gas consumption. my friend was telling me about something called a blaster coil does it make any difference? along with spark plugs, air filter, tire pressure, and taking out any unnecessary weight what are some other ways besides driving technique can i do to improve my gas mileage?
Nothing really to notice within 2 to 3 miles a gallon. The basics you metioned and driving under 70mph.

How Do I Refill A Lighter?
I have 2 lighters, a zippo, and a novelty one that is shaped in the form of a revolver. The zippo has the hole for the pressure gas, and the cloth, but I can only see the hole on the gun, what type of lighter fluid/gas will I need?
As far as the Zippo, I've been using them for 30 years.
Open the lid, hold the body with one hand, grab the windscreen (the perforated metal part) with other hand, and pull insert out of body.
Turn insert over, lift white solid piece's corner opposite screw head, pour in fluid (specifically made for wick type lighters) to saturate cotton, replace insert into body.
By the way, the screw head is removed to replace the flint when it quits sparking. BUT BE CAREFUL! There is a spring under the screw that 'll fly out if you don't have a hold on it.
