Always keep your eyes forward and slow down at every intersection. If you and another are both converging on the same spot then who ever make the first evasive move (to the left or right) is the action that both of you should then follow. You are not bonded by notions of right or wrong driving rules from back home - if the guy turn to avoid you and it means he is heading into traffic and even if it is on the wrong side of the road, then it is good practice. By following the first move everyone know each other’s intention. If you are heading straight at someone then communicate to the other person by giving your handle bars a bit of a turn in the direction you are committing yourself to indicate to them what you are about to do. Whatever you indicate will then lock you into a non-collision situation.
If someone is walking across a busy street without looking then turn so as to go behind them. This will enable them to keep moving forward instead of getting stuck waiting for some space in front of them. This rule perhaps more than any other is the one behind the fluidity of the traffic. People always go behind, not in the front of the blocking entity. This then allow the object to keep moving and thereby keep the roads open. Be particularly wary of kids playing soccer or badminton on the pavement, old deaf dogs, cows and buffaloes. Give them a blast on your horn, slow down and pass them on the other side of the road. Remember that larger, moving vehicles can often hide other bikes behind them which can cause havoc if you make some false assumptions at intersections when blindly cutting in front of larger vehicles either traveling parallel or at right angles with you. When you are turning then indicate with your arms as well as your indicators and make long, curved turn - never slow down to an all most stop and then turn sharply - you will be taken out. If crossing a busy intersection then move into the “down traffic” side of another vehicle. The guy’s “traffic shadow” will buffer you against other traffic and you can then cross no problems. Otherwise do what the Vietnamese do, which is to cross right in the middle of it. Do not make any sudden jerks or speed changes. Just cross consistently and slowly. People will see what you are doing and they will make room for you to cross. When driving through water the best thing to do is to make sure you are in the first gear and you are giving the engine heaps before plunging in. Never try to start the bike if water has already got into the exhaust pipe as the compression will suck some into the engine, thereby wetting the sparkplug and making it hard to start. It is possible to drive through water which is high enough to cover both the exhaust pipe and carburetor. So long as you are revving the engine heaps then all the exhaust fumes will keep the water from getting into the engine. Do not change gear when crossing.
Assume a large vehicle will come around every bend and drive in anticipation of it. When entering a zone of unpredictability - an intersection, an adjacent pig and buffalo etc. - then click down a gear with the clutch still engaged. If you then need to slow down quickly you can then release the clutch causing the bike to slow down in conjunction with an application of the brakes. If however you need to accelerate to get out of trouble then rev the engine a bit and then release the clutch. You will be in a lower gear and be in a position to speed away. Thus arrange yourself so that you can either accelerate using a lower gear - recognize a potentially dangerous situation and put yourself in the best position to do something about it. Keep the time when the clutch is open to a minimum. Disconnecting the momentum of the bike to the engine is dangerous - you have no control over power or deceleration. In normal potentially dangerous circumstances use the engine to slow down first by changing down a gear or two, then think about braking.
If you do have to slow down quickly then start with your front brake first. The momentum the push the bike down onto the front tire. Causing it to the flatten out on the road thereby increasing its traction and friction. Then apply the back brake on the bike has been pushed into the ground by the effect of the front braking. You might need to pump - that is squeeze then release the brake levers - the two brakes to get stronger effect. Along with a changing down of the gears will then ensure of the greatest braking potential. If you are going to hit something head on then remember this. It is a million times better to hit something while you are still in control but nevertheless moving forward than to careen into it having slammed on the brake too much - skidding gets you no where. Better to hit something at 10km/h than 40km/h. Therefore practice high speed braking when you get the chance. Get a feel of what it’s like to have the back wheel skidding to the left or to the right. Controlled braking really can slow you down quickly and effectively. You just need to practice front brake then back brake so that if you have an emergency you won’t distinctively go straight for the back ‘skidding’ brake. Move the bike by leaning, by shifting your legs out and pushing down on the foot pedals. Try not to steer too much just by turning the handle bars and try to keep your spine perpendicular to the bike’s axis.

This is for the desert riding quad, motorcycle people?
i have a 2009 yfz450r and i wanted to do some upgrading i have the exhaust, powercommander, and intake kit. I wanted some more power for drag racing and for long dune riding so what i had in mind was a 470/480cc big bore kit or high compression piston kit can someone help me with my problem and explain the differeces of the big bore kits? P.S im hopeing to beat 700 raptors
best way dont worry about a pipe the stock one is as good as any other dont listen to the ones who think a pipe is everything realisticly it only adds about 1 more horsepower after dyno tuning you can spend your bucks on much better stuff
u will need a higher ratio sprocket go up on the fron as one tooth on the front is equal to six on the back
boring it out will definatly give it a bit more torque
the differnece between the two bore kits is not too much the extra ten cubes will give it a bit more power but keep in mind that the further you go the less metal youve got to work with if you damage the bore and need to get it bored and honed out meaning you will be up for a whole new barrel or get it resleavedbut the bigger kit will defiantly give you that little bit more which is vital for racing
maybe try getting the head ported and flowed this gives a great increase of power for not too much money depending on how far you want to go
lastly make sure you definatly get it dyno tuned this will make everything come together into a perfect weapon good luck and enjoy

The Leak Testing of Refills
Pens and refills are necessities in our daily life and business. The refill leakage will affect the regular application, but contaminate our clothes as well. Then, how to guarantee a good leak-resistance performance? Labthink, as the excellent testing instrument and service provider, provides the relevant standards, methods and instruments as follows:
1. The Leakage Tester for Refills
According to relevant roller ball pen and refill standards, such as QB/T 1655-2006, the testing instrument is called redactor. Labthink MFY-01 Leak Tester is such to test the leak property under pressure reducing principle and has been widely applied.
2. Testing Methods and Procedure
A. Adjust the pressure reducing speed of MFY-01 Leak Tester to 10-12KPa/min.
B. Take the refills with half ink as the specimen.
C. Take off the pen cup, and insert the specimen with its head downward into the pen-stand, and place into the vacuum tank. Then, put on the lid of the vacuum tank.
D. Turn on the compressed air source, set the vacuum degree and vacuum maintaining time (10 minutes is a regulation). Take care of the different vacuum degree for different kinds of refills.
E. Start testing, when vacuum degree achieving the set value, MFY-01 Leak Tester will record the vacuum degree as programmed, and test whether the refill leaks or not.
The above is a brief introduction of the leak testing of refills. Labthink is willing to have more and thorough exchanges on quality control, testing item and method of pen industry.

How To Do A Compression Test (Scion TC/XA/XB)

Buy Oil Less Air Compressors
The most often used air compressors are portable rotary screw compressors. You can put the pressure settings from 100-350 PSI. You can find them ranging 65-1600 cubic feet per minute. What you need depends on the tools you will be using. A pro will usually use something with 185 CFM, which can get the job done while powering more than one tool at a time.
You can mount a truck compressor in the bed or underneath the hood of your truck. This is great to save some space and they use your truck's engine for power, so they are easy to maintain. You must have your truck running to power the compressor, which can be a deterrent.
You can get a compressor that is mounted in your truck bed called a deck mounted compressor. Since these have their own engines then won't need you to power your truck for them to work. They need engine maintenance and fuel as well since they aren't powered by your truck.
Other compressors run off electricity, while others use gas. In both kinds the air is in the holding tank and the tools are attached by a hose. There are gauges on the compressor that will show the pressure, which is valve regulated.
You can look at a Quincy air compressor which are very good. They offer a rotary screw compressor, which has 10-350 horsepower. They make quality machines that will last for a while, they have larger models and smaller ones.
A Husky brand air compressor is great for use in your home. The tank has 135 PSI and holds 1.75 gallons. You can run all kinds of tools on it and are so easy to carry around with the telescope handle. You can get the oil free pump to maintain it well.
If you choose the Husky air compressor that holds 4 gallons you will be getting upt 125 PSI and is great for small jobs around the house.

whats a good air compressor and impact tool? 2nd question?
i already asked a question about a good electric impact but i think an air compressor might be cheaper in the long run. what do you think. and what is a good air compressor with a decent size tank im looking for something under 200- 300. thanks
Well, if you are looking for a compressor that will run an impact wrench you are going to be hard pressed to find anything good in the $200-300 range. Most impacts will burn somewhere between 5 and 6 CFM of air. Thus, you need a compressor that will put out that much for continuous operation. Most compressors in that price range won't put out that much, and most of them are direct drive oil less compressors. I would stay away from them. They are noisey, and don't seem to hold up well. Belt drive compressors are much better, but they usually cost more. Basicly a good entry level compressor for impacts and similar tools is a belt drive, at least a 25 gallon tank, 2 HP motor, and one that has a cast iron compressor or at least cast iron sleeves. The least expensive example of a compressor like this I've found is a Husky at Home Depot for around $400. Sometimes you can run into a good sale at Sears too, and used compressors are always an option. Generally speaking, a good used belt drive compressor will run circles around a brand new direct drive unit. Just make sure the tank has good integrity. They like to rust if moisture is allowed to sit. If you plan on using your compressor for multiple tools, cleaning etc they are very handy, but if all you're looking for is a power source for an impact, you would probably be better off going electric. Air tools are nice, but hoses, fittings, compressors, and the actual impact can add up quickly. You could buy a really nice electric for the same money.

Symptoms Of Bad Ac Compressor
Air conditioner compressors usually fail due to one of two conditions: time and hours of operation or abuse. The most likely cause of an automotive air conditioner cooling problem is no refrigerant in the system, if the refrigerant leaks past a leaky compressor or O-ring
The compressor can fail in many ways. It can fail to open, fail shorted, experience a bearing failure, or a piston failure. First check the compressor engagement. If the magnetic clutch is not engaging when the A/C is turned on, the problem may be a blown fuse or a wiring problem.
When troubleshooting you should always think, if there is no cooling problem in the cooling system. If there is, you need a set of A/C service gauges.
A short can be there due to bald bearings. The rotor damages insulation and the compressor fail to function.
If the compressor locks up mechanically and fails to run, you will know because it will buzz very loudly for a few seconds and may shudder until the thermal limiter cuts it off. If there is no acid it is best to replacing the compressor and that is a good plan.
Usually when a short occurs, it is not immediately a hard short one. The compressor torque drops sharply every time a short occurs. The compressor will shudder enough to remove the short.
A clogged filter should be taken as positive evidence of some failure in the system other than a compressor failure. Generally, it will be metal fragments out of the compressor that clogs the filter.
Mechanical wear in old systems internally shows that it is "worn in" and needs more torque to start against the system load than can be delivered. The compressor will buzz loudly like a locked bearing for a few seconds then the thermal limiter will kill it.
And this, in a nutshell, is what can happen to an air conditioner compressor and what you can do about it.

What temperature should I get from my Astro Van A/C vents at max output if it is 86F outside?
Thanks to all that responded to my first question. I went and bought a refill kit and a rubber and o-ring sealant made by HC Refrigerant. Shortly after I attached/filled from the first can my compressor stopped cycling and cold air returned to my interior. I also added the leak stopper so I will just have to wait and see what happens.
should be 40-50 degrees F, from the center outlets with the windows open, a/c on full, fan on high, and a/c set to torso delivery for the air.
Blindly stuffing a can of R-134 can lead to bad issues. When these leak the oil goes with them and is now low.
R-134 systems are persnickety about proper charge level and oil levels and can damage the compressor if off the proper weights.
Good Luck and seek a good repair shop if problems continue

Compressor service and repair
Compressors are frequently called upon to power machines and tools that perform very high-impact work. As with any tool or machine that is subjected to this sort of situation, air compressors too are likely to be subject to ear and tear and require regular maintenance. Since air compressors are such sturdy machines to begin with, a small amount of regular maintenance can help to insure that you achieve the maximum possible efficiency from your air compressor and do not constantly need to subject it to repair work.
You will also be able to use your air compressor for a very long time before having to replace it or go in for a newer model. As is clear from all of the arguments above, air compressors should be serviced and repaired on a regular basis. Sticking to a simple, yet regular timetable of inspections and maintenance will allow you and your organisation to keep your air compressor going for many years to come.
Air Powered Services is an Australian company that is the frontrunner in air compressors, tools that run on compressed air, associated safety equipment, and so on and so forth. Air Powered Services can help you with all of your air powered tools and equipment needs and requirements. What is the correct oil to use in the reservoir of a half horse air compressor?
This is the type compressor used to power small air powered tools. Electrically powered, I am concerned about the compressor itself. Sorry to ask, but I misplaced the manual.

Can you fill a HPA paintball tank with a standard air compressor that can be used for air tools?
I have a standard air compressor that is used to power air tools and pump up flat tires. Can I use it to fill an HPA tank for my paintball gun? I believe I would need special ports or nozzles if I can.
No it will not. Air tools do not run on pressures that high 3000psi or 4500psi. You need a scuba fill adapter and a reserve tank. Like mentioned above you can get a used scuba tank that you can use for filling. Also you can use a Nitro or compressed air reserve tank from a welding supply store. Often they will have what you need cheaper than scuba shops. Either way, have whoever sells you the equipment show you have to use it properly. You really should be trained to fill the tanks. Normally most places with train you equipment they sell you.
Hope this helps and good luck!

I would recommend XVID (Divx is good too) and click configure
http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml
Xvid has a built in calculator so you can calculate the best bitrate. the bitrate will affect the size of the file. higher bitrates mean bigger better quality files. To use the calculator press calc. For the calculator to work best you will have to tell it how long the dat file is in hours, minutes and seconds. Be sure to specify what bitrate you are going to encode the audio too and the size of the disk or 716800 in your case and press OK. Switch from target quantizer to target bitrate by pressing the target quantizer button. when you are done press ok and then ok again.
Now goto the AUDIO menu and switch to Full processing mode. Now AUDIO > Compression. Select MPEG LAYER 3 and then the bitrate you want it on the left. this must be the same bitrate you specified in the XVID codec or your file will come out bigger than 700 MB. 128 or 192 at 44100 or 48000 Stereo is good. If it only gives you the option of 56kbps and lower you must switch to the other MPEG LAYER 3 codec or install a different one and start over.
You can set the interleaving options if you want. Otherwise not
Now goto file and SAVE AS AVI. type in a file name and click SAVE. It will take a while. After it's finished check play it back. if the audio is playing to early or too late you have to start over again and on the AUDIO Menu goto Interleaving and Adjust the audio skew correction setting. You check how it's going to come out by pressing the play button after each adjustment.

Hope that helps or points you in the right direction. It it doesn't search for VCD to AVI converters because that is actually what you are trying to do.
