7.62X54R Reload?
Just reloaded my first set of 7.62x54R. Finally found a box of 150gr. .311dia. Barnes TSX. Used Brass from Winchester Metric & Some Serbian stuff all boxer primed. This is the load data
Bullet: 150Grain Barnes Triple Shock 303cal. .311dia
Powder: BL-C(2) 52.0Grains
Primer: CCI 300 Large Rifle primers
Should yield about 2880FPS as starter load.
I had to search high and low for the bullets, the .311 is new in TSX. Used two sets of dies. RCBS but then bought the lee set because it had the crimper, but the lee sports a .308 expander. Thats too small for my M-44. so I need the .311 expander.
My rifle was slugged out and is a .311dia. and can hold 1in groups at 150yrds. with factory ammo.
So I am eager to see what this ammo will do.
If any one has loaded TSX in their Mosin let me know how it worked out.

Haven't used that bullet, but I will have to check it out. My M44 has been shooting great with .308 dia bullets in factory ammo and handloads. FYI below is my posted answer to someone that asked about factory rounds for is cartridge. Note the reference to the Lee Factory Crimp die:
Norma for preloaded ammo if you can find it. For Handloading, the Winchester brass and the Norma are both Boxer primed. I use a Lee Factory Crimp die on any of the brass cases that are purchased as loaded factory rounds or my own handloads. This will improve the accuracy by 50%.

Using Fraud Alert
One thing you can be proud of always is your self-identity -- your individual difference among other persons. It reflects your whole being and your personality in general. It also shows your uniqueness with other people. It is something that cannot be stolen from you.
However, don't you know that nowadays other people can steal your personal identity already?
Yes. You should be alarm with this fact. Maybe due to the continuous search of men for wealth, they happen to commit this kind of calcification to the point that they are already intervening in one's privacy, the personal identity of others.
This is how worse the situation is in the world today. Imagine having your identity stolen by others and used for criminal acts. Isn't it a grave offense and a deep insult in your person? Identity theft evolved when there is numerous numbers of people already practicing this form of violation.
Identity theft is indeed a crime of a different kind of dye. In simple term, it is the stealing of your personal identity. It can be comprise of your identification information. If it there comes a time when you already want to remove the fraud alert not flagged in your credit file, you can immediately inform them requesting for a removal through writing. It is necessary that you should place your full name, SSS number, your current and previous addresses, the date of your birth, and your contact number. You have to send it on the fraud alert department of the credit bureaus where you apply your fraud alert.
Fraud alert is a big help for the security of your account. However, you should also beware that sometimes fraud alter is disregarded by some creditors. If you are a previous victim of identity theft or you know that somebody is planning against your account, fraud alert can help. Nevertheless, you also need to check on your credit report if it is still updated.

Does "Super Max Turbo Professional Slimming Massage Belt" work as advertised?
Hi,
I went into a store in a mall the other day and saw this massage belt called "Super Max Turbo Professional Slimming Massage Belt". Basically it's a belt that you strap around your waist and it vibrates over your stomach for about 10 to 20 minutes. The claim is that it sheds away pounds. I'm leery, it seems like a scam, but has anyone else used one of these things? Does it work? I just want to tighten up my mid-section and don't like situps (never have).
Let me know if you've heard of it or used it.

8 Steps to a Fantastic Mini Herb Garden
Herbs are perfect for many reasons: growing in your home or outside will delightfully scent your environment, even after harvesting and drying them. They are commonly added to food and makes your meals alive and flavorful. They have incredible medicinal value in their own natural state and have been the base of pharmaceutical medicine.
Another great quality is that these plants produce enough for a small family on a single plant of each herb you wish to grow. So the space used for the garden can be very limited for maximum use of the herbs.
Here are simple guidelines to follow to assure success of herb gardening in a small space. of course the ''garden"" is contained in one container or several pots collected together. These gardens can easily be moved from indoors to you outdoor space during the warmer season.
1. Location of the garden: the right place to set your garden is important. A south or west facing windowsill will offer good sunlight in your home, outside you should find an area that offer shade for half of the day.
2. Choosing containers: choosing the appropriate pot will make a difference in hoe the herbs react. Use plastic or clay pots or container to house the plants. Pots that are a few inches in diameter will provide sufficient space for the plant to grow well and not get out of control.
3. Mixing the soil: for best results for your herbs will be a half/half mix of potting soil and sand. To the resulting mixture, add a good teaspoon of lime juice. Herbs prefer a soil that is poor in nutrients but contain lime. This mixture will help your herbs grow better and healthier.
4. Planting the herbs: if using seeds, place them in a shallow soil base. Push the seed into the soil using your index finger. the ideal depth should be about the height of your fingernail making this easy for the plant to sprout once it germinates.
5. Watering the plants: it is very essential to water the herbs with much care. The right amount of water should leave the soil moist to the touch, no more, Of course,good drainage is also of upmost importance. If not done well, the plants could die by drowning or the roots could rot.
6. Lighting: most herbs love sunlight though a few prefer shade. Consult the lighting instruction on the back of the seeds envelope for proper guidance. Most enjoy seven hours a day of sunlight. If these standard cannot be met in an inside environment you may wish to consider artificial lighting to compensate.
7. Wind: A bit of wind will be beneficial to the your herb garden. They are not fond of strong wind but will enjoy a nice airy space to moderate wind. In the home you can use a fan to circulate the air for an hour a day.
8. Pruning the herbs: Pruning will contribute to the health of the plant and help the stronger leaves grow stronger. Unless you are harvesting the leaves, light pruning is an occasional activity you will need to tend to. Always prune your plants close to the stem or near the soil.

After pruning a mini rose, stems turn brown or black?
After I prune my mini rose bush, the stems that were pruned eventually turn dark brown or black and die. Sometimes the whole stem will eventually do this and die. How do you prevent any of the cut stems on the bush from completely dieing off? The bush gets plenty of sunlight, are planted outdoors and they get watered at the base. The temperature outdoors has been about 91 degrees.
There are two important factors that could contribute to the damage to the stems of your mini-roses. What kind of shears are you using? and how sharp are they? The main types of pruners are anvil, and bypass. Anvil's have one sharp blade and one flat. The sharp one presses the branch against the flat one, then cuts through sorta like a guillotine. Those aren't the prefered pruners. The other pruners, bypass, are more like scissors in the way that they work. They are better.
In either case if the shears aren't sharp, they'll do more crushing and less cutting. Pruners should be sharpened at least once per year. Anyplace that sharpens scissors should be able to sharpen your shears. If you're not sure where to go, try Joanne Fabrics... the same folks that make quality scissors (Fiskar etc) also make pruning shears, they should have recommendations on where to take them to sharpen them.
The other factor is cleanliness. You want the Doctor or Dentist to have sterilized instuments before they cut into you right? Diseases, whether animal or plant, are communicable that way. So, when was the last time you cleaned your pruners? Every week? At least once a month right?
A little rubbing alcohol or bleach solution will do the trick. I keep a bottle of dollar store rubbing alcohol with my pruners, a splash goes a long way.
Monitor your water and fertilizer, and your plant should recover.

How To Fix A Bumper Scrape
Fixing a bumper scrape is an art in itself, which is a good thing since most cars need this service performed at least once. Aaron Baird owns West Coast Recon, a mobile automotive reconditioning company based in southern California, and here, he gives a step-by-step guide of how this is carried out.
You may not believe it, but most of what we do involves fixing bumper scrapes. It is a straightforward procedure but you need someone who can do the job right and guarantee the perfect color match. You also want someone who will come to you and doesn't charge a fortune. That's West Coast Recon.
Masking Off the Area to Be Fixed
Every single car in southern California will need to have this procedure done at some point. Before I fix a bumper scrape, I often tape off and mask off the area that is going to be fixed. That includes any trim on the bumper whose color is different from the bumper's, and any surface you do not want the paint to get on. It is similar to masking off the interior of a car for dyeing, though it is a bit more technical. The tape line needs to be perfect; otherwise, the job will be unsuccessful.
Sanding the Damaged Area
Once I have done that, I will look up the color code of the vehicle. If you cannot locate it, you are in a bit of trouble as it will be harder to find the right color to match. Then, I start to sand the damaged area with a dual action sander, which is like a rotating sander that sands evenly. At that point, I must determine if there is a need to fill anything. If there are gouges in a plastic bumper, I have to smooth all those out.
After making sure that the area is nice and smooth, I prepare to apply the primer. I often use 2 to 3 coats to make sure that the damaged sanded area is all covered. When it is dry, I sand it all down so that the surface is nice, smooth and beautiful.
Getting the Pefect Color Match
I need to scuff every other surface so that it is ready to receive a clear coat. Then, I mix the paint using the vehicle's color code. Each color code has a mixture ratio, which I can look up on my iPhone to learn exactly what it is. After finding out the particulars, I am able to use a sensitive weight scale to mix that color. I carry around a set of paints with about 75 different toners, with which I can mix almost any automotive color in the world.
Once I have mixed the color, I stir it up, making sure there is a perfect match. Then I strain it into the HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) paint gun, straining out the impurities. I apply several light coats of paint. After making sure the primer cannot be seen anymore, I blend out the edges so that it is all uniform and looks all the same, without any color differential.
Mixing the Clear Coat
The last step is to clean out the gun and mix the clear coat, which is the hardener and a reducer. I strain that into the gun and apply two medium coats of clear coat. Finally, I blend the edges with the existing coats and let it dry for 20 minutes.
The paint process takes about 2 hours from start to hardened clear coat depending on the severity and size of the damaged area. Although we don't refinish entire cars, long key scratches are included in our services.

What was the British point of view regarding the Tea Act of 1773?
In a number of instances (such as the Tea Act of 1773 and the change in 1772 so that payment of governors' salaries came from the king and not provincial legislature) the course textbook notes, to some degree, how the impetus for these acts was not wholly the attempt to impose despotic government by the king. Explain how these acts could be seen from a British point of view as ethical and legitimate and not as attempts to oppress the colonists.
"It seemed reasonable to the British government that the lightly taxed American colonies should make a contribution to the cost of the recently concluded Seven Years War — known in America as the French and Indian War — and of the garrisons that continued to protect them. The colonials greeted the new taxes with fury. Although most were repealed in short order, hard-liners adopted the taxation issue as a focus for a more fundamental question: the relationship of the largely self-governing colonies to the British Parliament. The American War of Independence divided the colonials into Loyalists and Rebels and exacerbated existing divisions among the British political classes. Whigs were largely sympathetic to the American case, Tories were outraged by a sense of betrayal, especially after the dissidents enlisted the support of France, the recent enemy, still under the rule of an absolutist monarchy. The Declaration of Independence was received in Tory circles as part meaningless cant, part hypocrisy: Samuel Johnson, virulently opposed to slavery, dismissed slave-owning Thomas Jefferson’s high sounding phrases with: ‘How is it that we hear the loudest yelps for liberty among the drivers of Negroes?’
"After the defeat at Saratoga the Whig leader Charles Fox spoke for more than two hours in the Commons, arguing that the war had been mismanaged so far and that, in any case, an independent America could be a powerful friend to Britain. The Tory first minister Lord North took a different view: ‘If America should grow into a separate empire it must cause a revolution in the political system of the world, and if Europe did not support Britain now, it would one day find itself ruled by America imbued with democratic fanaticism’."
