I drive Opel Astra G with Ecotec engine of '00 make.?
Earlier on after service, l could use it without any drop in the oil level.
Now it happens, ALMOST to the min gauge level. Anyway after about 2000 Kms Please advice. What could be the problem.
Sounds like they mest up during service. They either did not change the copper washer on the drain bolt or they stripped the bolt. That's my first insctinct. If the car is just burning oil, you might have gotten some bad oil, or they really did not change the oil.

Is there an Iphone app to set up auto answer or go to voice mail?
I am a parent and work night shift. I don't want to turn my Iphone off while I'm sleeping just incase one of the kids call or other important person i.e. boss. Can I set my phone up with a list of contacts that when I turn the app on only those selected will ring and all others will go straight to voice mail? Tired of getting woke up needlessly.
Technically, due to the capabilities of the SDK/Developers' Tools, it cannot override anything that is normal to the iPhone. This means it cannot control the phone app. However, I remember that there is a premium service from AT&T, but I forgot the details. I'm sorry.

How do you remove ink from the inside of a car door?
My daughter wrote on the inside of the back door while riding in her car seat. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I use hair spray to get rid of ball point ink. Just spray it on and blot. Then wash with a mild soap. I think it's the alcohol in the hairspray that makes it dissipate, so rubbing alcohol may work also.

What is the part called that sits between the rear axle and the leaf spring in a truck?
There is a part welded to my rear axle that bolts onto the bottom of my leaf spring. What is that part called?
I figured out that the part is called a Spring Perch. Thanks for everyone's help.
If the truck is stock, it is usually called a spring pad or spring seat. This part is a formed metal bracket that is welded to the axle tube, and frequently the shocks are bolted to them. However, if the truck has been "jacked up", one of the common ways to do this is to add spacers between the spring pad and the spring. These spacers are generally just blocks, and in most of the kits they are made of some sort of plastic. I have seen other materials used also.

It doesn't have to be the best school. Just a class at some institute or county college. And about how long would one have to attend?
You can attend a vocational school for about $1000.00 for their course. It would take 1 to 2 years. Depends on your area requirements.

What are some roads or highways can use to avoid slow, bumper 2 bumper traffic, around Los Angeles?
Try to give as detailed info as you can. I can't give you an exact "starting location" or area because I don't live there, yet. LOL I'm just getting an idea of if such "back ways" exist. LOL

even at 4;00am in the morning,,
we cant give yiu any directions as you just want to advod slower traffic
but los angeles IS all TRaiffic 24/7 hours a day!
yes there are some short cuts but lot of those short cuts
have been cut off or the city have place either speed bumbs or stop
signs on every block to discourge people from taking short cuts(beverly hills is a good example
and the speed limit is usually lower too
(and some of those street BHPD have a speed camera to catch speeder)

I just ran a diagnostic on my car but i need some help in non/mechanic terms lol?
Okay my service engine light came on in my neon so i did the diagnostic to get the codes. The codes I got were 12, 21, and 17. This is what it said under the code book:
12 Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles
21 02s sensor problem (oxygen sensor), upstream or down stream
17 Closed loop temp not reached or engine cold too long
What does this mean?
The first one generally means the battery was disconnected recently. the second one means that one of your O2's gave a false reading. Most likely due to the third code. Upstream is before the cat. and downstream is after the cat. The third code means your car took to long to warm up. (check thermostat stuck open)

Should tie rod ends be replaced as a pair?
I need to replace the right front outer tie rod end. Since I need to spend the money on an alignment afterwards, should I just replace both tie rod ends, even if the left one isn't that bad? At least that will save me from another alignment someday in the future when that one finally goes bad, too.
Do you need to? No.I would highly recommend it though.Things like tie rods,ball joints,and wheel bearings I always replace in pairs.When one goes the other one usually isn't too far behind.That way they're both done and I don't have to worry about it.
