Reusable Air Dunnage Bags
Even when a truck appears to be fully loaded with goods, there can still be large spaces between items, and this can mean that goods are able to slide around and get damaged during transit. This period of time, between dispatch from the factory or warehouse and arrival at the final destination is when goods are most valuable, and any damage at this stage will cause large costs, which will have a great impact on overall profitability unless measures such as air dunnage bags are used in order to give goods in transit the best possible protection from damage.
When goods are packed onto a pallet, it is very rare for them to be stacked right to the edge. This means that there is space left around the stacked boxes, and allows for a small degree of movement to take place when in the back of the truck. While a small amount of movement within the bounds of the stretch wrap will always take place, over time, this can cause the wrapping to come loose, and cause items to fall out of place, and break.
There are a number ways to minimize movement of items in transit, including placing bars across the truck to separate loads, and stacking a second pallet on top of the first to make them more secure, but both of these methods reduce the amount of available space in the truck and have an impact on profit. There is however a third way of protecting goods in transit, and this is through the use of air dunnage bags.
Quite simply, air dunnage bags are sturdy inflatable bags that fit in between the stacks of goods and prevent them from moving around too much. They are inflated using a standard nozzle, and then can be slid into place between the goods. The bags take a matter of seconds to inflate, and can be put into place along with the goods as the truck is loaded.
Once the truck arrives at its final destination, the dunnage bags can be removed with the load, and then either discarded or reused depending on their condition. Easy Rack provides a number of different options when it comes to their offering of air dunnage bags. The air bags come in a choice of sizes. Either 48 inches by 26 inches, or a much larger 48 inches by 48 inches. Both have been designed to match up with individual standard sized pallets.
In order to encourage reuse, the air bags have a high quality pressure seal that holds the bags up at up to 6 psi, while the twin skin of a polyethylene inner bag protected by a hard wearing polypropylene outer, means that they will stand up to quite a lot of punishment in use.
The cost of these air dunnage bags is low, and because they do not take up any usable space within a truck, they will have no impact on how much can be carried. As such, their use should be considered on all delivery trucks, because by better protecting items in transit, they will have a significant positive impact on the profitability of every single journey.

Western Digital (WD) and Fujitsu will likely have 1TB 2.5-inch disk drives available by early 2010 according to industry sources.
WD has just announced that it has started volume shipping its 500GB 2.5-inch Scorpio Blue drive, a notebook drive with 250GB per platter and a 5,400rpm spin speed. Seagate expects to ship its half terabyte 2.5-incher before the end of the year.
Our sources say WD and Fujitsu will have 750GB 2.5-inch drives by mid-2009 and 1 terabyte units by early 2010, if not the end of 2009. WD is building quite a track record of pipping Seagate by introducing notebook drives at progressively higher capacitypoints first, doing this with 250GB, 320GB and now 500GB models. This may not continue as Seagate has been catching up and will strive to match and exceed WD.

1TB unit would be prepped and ready for your notebook, try 2010. Aluminum Christmas Trees and a Stroll Down Memory Lane!
Now that I'm officially a senior citizen, I find myself strolling down memory lane more than ever before. I'm also more aware of just how much our world has changed since we were kids dashing to the first McDonalds in our town. You could buy a hamburger for just 15 cents! Like those burgers, many of the things we enjoyed years ago are no longer with us.
In high school, my friends and I would anxiously await Friday nights. Four of us boys, with our crew cuts and Jimmy Smith's duck tail, would pile into Jimmy's 1957 Chevrolet and go to the local drive-in movie.
We would park 3 rows to the right and 4 to the back of the concession stand so we could see any unattached girls as they went to get popcorn and a Coke. We thought we were slick back then as we would race to the concession stand to try and meet girls that we thought were worthy of our attention.
Sometimes during my late teen years, Aluminum Christmas Trees became a trend that my parents thought would solve the problem of dry evergreen needles on the floor. Until that time we had always cut our Christmas tree from the woods that was only a mile from our house.
My first year in college, I remember returning home for the Christmas holiday, horrified to see a glistening gigantic shredded roll of aluminum foil shaped into a tree, standing in a corner of the living room. I was shocked when I saw it occupying the space that had been dedicated to a freshly cut aromatic cedar trees.
Thankfully that fad came and went in just a couple of years, then we moved on to fake green trees with little bottles of aerosol spray that was guaranteed to smell like a fresh cut cedar or spruce tree.
Whatever happened to television test patterns that would suddenly appear on the screen at the stroke of midnight? As strange as it seems, there was something comforting to us insomniacs about staring at that immovable page emanating from the picture tube as if it held the secret to the universe! It's quite possible it did, but whatever its message, it went over my head.
There were some things that were so far ahead of their time, that it seems incomprehensible that they're gone. In an era in which people really loved their cars, the Studebaker was in a class of its own.
While my friends proclaimed the delight of owning their '57 Chevys and Fords, my 1953 Studebaker Starliner was my pride and joy! That car looked like it was going fast even when it was standing still! Besides being a great automobile, it set you apart from the rest of the crowd. Not everyone owned a Studebaker!
Do you remember the 5 cent Coca-Cola? When I was a kid in the summertime, I'd walk to the small grocery store about a mile from the house, pulling my red Radio Flyer behind me. I would buy a case of Cokes and a half block of ice.
I had extended the sides of the wagon 6 inches taller so I could chip up the ice and pour it in the wagon; then I would lay the bottles of Coke on the bed of ice. I walked another mile to a housing development being built close to town. There, in the Alabama heat I would sell that case of Coca-Colas to weary carpenters, masons and painters for 15 cents each, or two for a quarter. I sold out every day.
Many of us thought that 25 cents a gallon gasoline was far too much to spend for fuel. There's a country song somewhere which was written by someone who was obviously a philosophical genius. The line that I'll always remember is "When gas was 25 cents a gallon, love was only 50 cents away."
Whatever happened to flashbulbs, Timmy and Lassie, Bryllcreme, The Ozzie and Harriet Show and metal ice cube trays that either made the ice break free or cause the lever to bend. Everyone remembers the Burma Shave signs on the side of a two-lane road. Where have all these things gone? Where ever they are, I miss them!

Will putting aluminum foil underneath my laptop help keep it cool?
I heard that aluminum absorbs heat (supposedly they make aluminum computer stands, but I don't want that).

An aluminum foil heatsink. Interesting. The foil wouldnt do anything in the way of dissipating the heat.

For many students deciding on the right university for the next step in their education can be a very daunting one. There are so many factors to consider; especially as these years are very important as a student grows not only intellectually, but also socially, emotionally, spiritually and so on. When deciding upon a school, many students with an already religious background may opt for a Christian University program. These universities are based on the foundation of producing strong, capable and moral young people, with a sense of duty to God to others.
There are, however, many differences between the Christian Universities as there is with secular schools. There are many different fees charged and it pays consider the various payment options and possible aid that might be available. Other things to look at within Christian universities are the support framework that exists for students on an n academic level and also how much various schools differ in their way of delivering spiritual encouragement, and what they expect from a student in terms of commitment to voluntary work, service duties and mission trips.
A student specifically looking to serve God may choose a Bible College or seminary that focuses on guiding students toward a career in ministry. Then there are Baptist schools that are primarily focused on turning out moral and capable young people that do not separate God from personal, professional or any other part of their lives, whatever their career path. The Catholic schools teach many different subjects down to Islam and Ancient Greece but they are firmly rooted in the deep faith of Catholicism which may be off-putting for secular students or those from a different religion.
So, there are many things to consider when deciding on the right Christian University. Depending on personal preference and how strongly you may want to maintain a decent and moral lifestyle, there are many choices out there.

I have a Power Mac G4 400 MHZ that I want to upgrade for a pro tools home studio.How can I max this Mac out ?
I need to upgrade this Mac for pre-production. I have about 400 to put into this and getting another mac is not an option right now. I can upgrade in stages if its more than 400, but i really need this to be up and running by Mid to late September. I'm thankful for any help at all, as heavily detailed as possible.

Without a CCW you would be facing felony charges and on your way to prison for a long time, and possibly face murder charges since you went out with an illegally carried weapon.
But you did say something about it being illegal, since you wouldn't be at risk of getting in trouble if you were going to carry it legally. In New Jersey a gun is illegal if illegally possessed OR if illegally carried.
You could be charged under two different laws, illegal concealed carry and unlawful transportation if you carried it loaded.
