Dermal Fillers in Modern Times
In these modern times, our lives have become more hectic and daily stresses take a toll on our appearance. Pollution from the surrounding environment and the damaging rays of the sun too cause our skin to become drier and less elastic. Together, wrinkles and folds begin to form, thus causing visible lines to appear at various places on our bodies. Such signals of premature aging are most noticeable on our faces. How do we reverse the effect?
Luckily, there is a quick and easy way. Dermal fillers are a gel-like substance introduced to the market to combat the premature effects of aging. The main ingredient comprises hyaluronic acid, a substance which occurs naturally in our body tissue. The basic characteristic of hyaluronic acid is that it has the ability to hold water and maintain the skin’s taut and youthful appearance. Having hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient also helps minimise the chance for allergy among potential patients. There are many brands available such as Juvaderm, Restylane and Perlane.
Most dermal fillers are made to be applied to the face. Application is usually by way of injection via a fine needle, which minimises scarring. The doctor can opt to apply anaesthesia to numb the area in order to make you feel more comfortable. The gel is eased under the skin through the needle, then gently massaged to obtain the desired effect.
Most gels last for about six months. You would need to pay subsequent visits to the doctor for follow-up treatments. However, most modern dermal fillers can now be applied very fast. You can even go for a procedure during your lunchbreak and return to work in the same day.
To be on the safe side, you would need to look for a doctor who has had a track record of successful treatments. Talk to your friends on whether they have had a dermal filler treatment done, and if so, whether they would recommend their doctor. An additional consideration would also be the cost involved. Cost of treatment can vary widely, but the general rule of thumb is that treatment centers in the city tend to be more expensive than those located outside the city.
Dermal fillers are become more popular as the word about them spreads. Patients not only comprise middle-age women but men as well. It is a quick and easy way to look good.

big rust spots on car roof, what shall i use bondo and body filler?
i have som bad rust hole on the roof of my 68 cougar, whats the best way to go about patching them up???
You should cut a piece of steel to the size of the hole and use automotive panel bonding adhesive to glue it in place. Bondo has no strength itself and will just fall out of the hole eventually.

Attention Busy Women: Follow These Tips if You Want a Sexy Butt
Copyright (c) 2008 Ed Scow
You want a better butt, right? Of course you do, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.
Well, there are a few things you need to know when it comes to getting a butt that you're proud of.
First you must make sure you're working your butt muscles with every exercise you do that's targeted to your butt.
I know that sounds stupid, but it is very common for women to not even work their butt muscles when they're doing an exercise that's supposed to be working their butt.
Take the squat for example.
If you don't actively flex, or "squeeze" your butt muscles as you stand up, your butt will not get worked to its full potential, thus making the workout pretty much worthless when it comes to losing butt fat or building a firm, sexy butt.
Also, if you don't keep your heels on the floor and start the movement from your hips rather from your knees, you put way too much pressure on your knees and back, taking all the focus off the butt which is where it should be.
We can also throw the hip extension, or "butt raise" exercise in there as well.
This exercise is performed while lying on your back, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. You then squeeze your butt muscles and hamstrings to raise your hips off the floor as high as possible, before slowly lowering back to the floor.
If this isn't done properly, your low back will do a lot of the work. Or, if you go too fast, and let gravity do all the work, your butt muscles will hardly be worked.
Those two tips can be used with lunges as well. If you don't actively flex, or squeeze the butt muscles as you stand up, you won't work those muscles as hard, which means you won't lose butt fat and you definitely won't get that firm, sexy butt you're after.
When it comes to doing cardio, you can do a couple things to really hone in on the booty muscles.
If you're using the treadmill, or running outside, you should increase the incline or run up a hill. Doing so forces your butt muscles to work that much harder.
Or, if you're using an elliptical machine or stationary bike, you can increase the resistance used to increase the tension on the butt.
Every woman I have ever trained or designed programs for has wanted a sexier, firmer butt and I always start them off with these 4 tips to a sexy butt. Incorporate them into your workout and I'd be shocked if you didn't see results within weeks.

I just installed a 1996 360 automatic into my 1996 Jeep Grand cherokee automatic had to relocate motor mounts?
In 1996 360 was balanced harmonic balancer. The flex plates looked the and measured out the same. Install went fine with
exception of flex plate only three bolt holes lined up, so I honed out the fourth and finished install. Started and ran
great , took It for a drive and there was what seemed to be
just road noise could It be something I did wrong ?
besides honing out a hole sure there is a few things to think about you relocated the mounts and your talking about a tranmission and then you talk about the harmonic balancer.. front of motor not the trans... two differant places or parts one shouldnt have much to do with either.. and not sure about the road noise... be hard to guess not hearing.. but i think you got something out of line for sure

Filter Refurbishment With Durafilter Recycled Glass Filtration Media

GOOD FILTRATION STANDARDS-THE ESSENCE OF GREAT POOL WATER
Contact Pool Maintenance Limited www.pool-maintenance.co.uk
Filtration Media:
The single largest surface area exposed to contamination in a swimming pool is the media within the filter units. Sand has been used for 150 years as a filter medium. Sand is also classed as a grade 2 carcinogen because of the free silica contained. Every cubic metre of sand has a surface area in the region of 3000 square metres and it is an established fact that sand-based media provides a highly suitable substrate for bacteria, with all the potential health hazards that this generates. Sand will become widely colonised by a range of bacterial agents within a few days and cannot be fully cleansed even with chlorination and other standard practises.
Alginates excreted by these bacteria glue the sand grains together and prevent the filters from working efficiently. Colonies of bacteria then combine to produce bio-films. A bio-film creates its own environment with a low pH value, thus becoming a prime source of tri-chloramines production, the prime cause of “pool smell”. The effective operation and maintenance of pool filter units to prevent unacceptable levels of bacteria growth and tri-chloramines production should therefore be a high priority for all pool operators. Sand media should be totally replaced every 5-7 years.
Standard codes of practise:
All commercial and public organisations have a Duty of Care to their staff and the general public and any failure of this duty due to poor working practise can be a costly business as has been shown in several recent cases. Therefore it is essential that your filters are fit for purpose, well maintained and thoroughly inspected by a suitably experienced person at least once a year. Poor management of filters can cause problems within DAYS. Attention should be given to: sand quantity and quality, under-drains and corrosion. Unusual signs like fissures, an uneven bed, “mud-balling”, etc need investigation.
Flocculation/Coagulants are recommended as part of your filtration regime (if you are not using them already) as they bring contaminants out of solution and clump them together into a floc that can be more easily removed by a filter. They are particularly crucial in the filtering of Cryptosporidium and Giradia.
NEW MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES: the case for glass media
Recycled glass media has been shown by independent studies from leading experts in the water filtration field, to be a highly efficient filtration media out performing sand. We, at Pool Maintenance & Servicing, believe that commercial pools should switch to glass media as soon as possible. This change will produce significantly better pool water and pool-hall atmosphere, as well as yielding operational cost savings and a better environment in your pool. Alongside the positive environmental issues of using a recycled product, the greater operating efficiency will significantly assist and contribute towards any carbon footprint reduction schemes or area targets that may be applicable. A study by leading experts Aqua Enviro concluded that;
“In order to reprocess recycled glass to PAS 102 standard approximately 73 kg Co2/tonne of media is produced compared to 2 kg Co2/tonne of silica sand. However, when the application benefit is taken into account, this work has shown that replacing sand with glass as a filtration media delivers savings which may equate to as much as 1,261 kg C02/tonne/annum of media produced, resulting in a substantial net environmental benefit. These C02 savings arise largely from the superior performance of glass and resultant reduced pump run times.”
Independent studies have shown that glass media has the following properties and benefits; Cleaner, lighter weight, and highly angular crushed recycled glass provides an amazing 25% improvement in turbidity removal over silica sand. Glass filtration media generally removes finer particles from water than silica sand of an equivalent grade. Glass filtration media’s weak negative surface charge holds fine particles and positively charged iron and manganese ions that are easily released upon back washing. Crushed glass filtration media is less likely to block or channel than silica sand. Glass filtration media contains no crystalline silica–resulting in better lung protection for employees and a far healthier environment. Glass filtration media grains are amorphous, smooth particles that have a higher attrition strength and do not permanently trap bacteria in cracks. Use of glass filter media will lower your consumption of chlorine and coagulants. Glass media gives improved performance for pressure or gravity-flow filters. Weighing 20% less than sand, glass filtration media provides more filter volume per kg. Glass filtration media’s lower density requires up to 20% less media to fill your filter vessel. Better permeability–back washes with up to 25% less water, saving down-time and water/sewer charges. Because crushed glass filtration media cleans better, you save energy and operating costs
Finally, we would stress that utilising an effective media product made from recycled glass is a far more environmentally friendly option than continuing with the use of quarried sand and gravel.
In summary, glass media is a more efficient media than sand, therefore in conjunction with a careful water and filtration management programme it can produce cost savings for your pool. Once installed, we suggest that you carefully monitor your pool to produce the most efficient water quality regime. We believe that you will have excellent results and soon find there are savings to make in water, energy and chemical usage
With all these factors in mind we invite you to make the switch from sand to glass, monitor the results and reap the rewards.
Pool Maintenance Ltd now offer filter refurbishment with two types of recycled glass media and can advise you on the general benefits and savings associated with each.
DURAFILTER Glass media:
Specially developed and graded for installation in swimming pool filters, DURAFILTER is made 100% from recycled glass. It is totally safe for use and conforms for British Standards PA102. It is non-toxic and non-abrasive. Should any escape into the pool it would do no more harm than traditional sand. DURAFILTER recycled glass media will last for a minimum of 10 years without need for reloading. It is our belief that correct practice with sand is to reload every 5 years. Used in filters treated with our own high performance coatings we will supply you with a 10 year guarantee effectively doubling the life of your media.
In the past there have been price barriers to the installation of glass media however DURAFILTER recycled glass media is sourced to be completely cost comparable to sand.
DURAFILTER glass media is a more efficient media than sand, therefore with a careful water management programme it can produce cost savings for your pool. Once installed into your filters we suggest that you carefully monitor your pool to produce the most efficient water quality regime. We believe that you will have excellent results and soon find there are savings to make in water, energy and chemical usage
DURAFILTER is a low cost entry into glass media use meaning that for the same price as sand loading a pool operator can gain the benefits of usage of glass media.

I need suggestions for cleaning bathtub?
We do what we can to keep the build-up to a minimum. We thoroughly rinse the tub after each use and dry it off. The problem is scrubbing off the patches of grime that collects on the sides of the drain. We use a medium to hard bristle brush with non-abrasive cleaner but it takes HOURS to clean with less than satisfactory results.
I realize that abrasives can do the trick but I don't want to scour the tub surface because that will defeat the purpose. Instead, I am hoping that some people out there have a way of dealing with this without abrasives. Thank you.
All of the above is excellent to use as well i preferred using snowblo ; it is a toliet cleaner but wow!! does those stains etc surely come clean. also make sure you rinse well then dry after using this product.if you want the bath tub; sink ; shower stalls ;walls in shower areas to shine spray glass plus then buff dry it by hand in circular motions,it works for me .
