do i need radio removal tools to take out my 97 fort thunderbird radio out?

The tools make it alot easier, but I have seen people use small screwdrivers, or coat hangers bent in a U shape. The trick here is to not damage the face of the radio or the clips that hold it in. If you use a coat hanger, bend it in a U shape and insert it until you feel it 'click'. Make sure the ends are the same length (around 3"). When both sides are inserted, gently push the bent end of the hanger sticking out away from each other... this will release the spring clips and the radio will slide out.

An improved twin screw extruder device is provided which is capable of producing a wide variety of high quality extrudates having greatly varying final properties, without the need for extensive machine modifications. The extruder includes a barrel together with a co-rotating twin screw assembly . The assembly is made up of a pair of screws having central, tapered shafts equipped with outwardly extending helical flighting ; the screws are non-parallel and are positioned so that the flighting thereof is intercalated along the length of the screws . The flighting is of specialized configuration and tapers along the length of the screws preferably at an angle of taper different than that of the shafts ; moreover, the width of the outer flighting surface increases along the length of the shafts . This screw geometry defines a series of alternating upper and lower close-clearance high-pressure nip areas defined by the flighting which serves to propel an extrudable mixture forwardly towards the outlet end of the barrel . However, passageways and kneading zones are also defined between the screws , which assures full mixing, shearing and cooking of the material. The extruder device is capable of producing high density sinking aquatic feeds as well as expanded, low density products merely by changing the rotational speed of the screws together with appropriate temperature control. In another embodiment, a fluid extraction extruder is provided having a specialized extruder head including an outer shell and an inner, elongated, slotted sleeve .
The present invention is broadly concerned with improved twin screw extrusion devices of a highly versatile nature which can be used for the production of a wide variety of end products of varying densities, cook values and expansion ratios, without the need for extensive machine modifications. The extruders of the invention include a twin screw assembly having non-parallel, tapered conical screws with the flighting of the screws intercalated along the length of the extruder barrel to define close-clearance, preferably constant dimension, alternating upper and lower nip areas and trailing kneading zones and reverse flow passageways; the nip areas create high pressure zones within the barrel which propel material forwardly, while the material is kneaded and allowed to reverse flow in the zones and passageways. In other embodiments, an infinitely variable die assembly including a shiftable stem movable between a waste disposal position and a variety of extrusion positions. A specialized fluid extraction final extruder head is also provided, which allows oils or other fluids to be efficiently extracted, particularly with the aid of a supercritical extractant such as carbon dioxide.

Will the air/fuel mixture screw adjustment help if it floods when cold?
I have an older (1986) model Jeep Comanche pickup with a 2.8liter V-6 engine with a 2-bbl(2-SE) carb. I was told that being over 100K miles, it needed to be rebuilt. Runs fine when warm. When cold, it floods out. If I'm in a hurry, I have to spray (1) squirt of ether in the carb and it starts immediately. Will turning the air screw help? If so, richer or leaner?
i had the same problem with a toyota truck i had years ago--it was the AAP diapham in the carberator--(auxillery accellerator pump diapham)--replaced that for 25.00 bucks and she ran great---not sure about a jeep, but i have always went to the dealer and talked to the service manager, told him what the problem was, and they would tell me what to fix--hope this may help you

Mercedes-Benz originated in the 1880s by two men, Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. They invented the internal combustion engine powered vehicle. Ironically, the two men never knew each other despite their similar work, thus for years, their work in automobiles ran parallel and they also lived in the southwest of Germany. Gottlieb Daimler with the help of his friend, Wilhem Maybach created the four stroke engine in district of Suttgart called Cannstatt. Meanwhile, Karl Benz worked in Mannheim. Later, Daimler now working in Unterturkheim built and raced his cars, this how he came to meet an Austrian dealer- Emil Jellinek, who took an active interest in Daimler’s work that he entered Daimler’s cars into the races of which he won significant amount of. The cars were named Mercedes after Jallinek’s daughter.
Hardships in the automobile industry in the 1920s resulted in the merging of Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz’s companies. In 1926, an official merge resulted in the first production of the first Mercedes cars and trucks.
Since then, with interruptions during the second world war (when their car factory was used to produce weapons of war), the Mercedes Benz cars saw an expansion of this company, with franchises all over the world. In Australia, United States, Africa and other parts of the world have fully dedicated Mercedes Benz franchises that sell Mercedes Benz cars, trucks, buses and coaches.

A 1971 Super Beetle for sale?
One of my classmates in college has a yellow super that he is selling for $1,000. It is missing a running board and it has a dent in every fender. Aside from that the body is strait, there is no rust, and it runs. The car used to be a daily driver and is a California car. It sat for 9 years but started right up with some gas and new oil.
I am aware that the supers are known for more problems with shimmies and shakes on the front end right? Is there a fix for that by using urethane bushings all around? What else should I be aware of with the McPherson front end? It can't be made higher for dune buggies but it doesn't matter because I don't need it for that.
The reason why I want his super is because it has a larger gas tank, more trunk space and it handles better on the highway which is where I'll be using it most of the time.
What should I look out for on this car and be aware of? Is 1971 a year to avoid for the Supers?
Ive been running Beetles for many years now and unless you know them well, people will always tell you what a heap they are. Most of these people have never owned one or know anything about them other than what they have heard. Here is what you need to know about buying a bug.
Fenders and running boards are easily sourced and very very cheap. When looking at the bug, open the engine cover and grab hold of the lower engine crank pulley. Pull and push it and make sure there is very little movement (known as end float). Also make sure the spark plugs are nipped up nicely and none of them keep turning. Aftermarket heads are known for having crappy threads. Listen also for exhaust blows around the heads. All these things are easily fixed but negotiate on price if any of these are evident. Ask what oil he runs it on and when it was last changed. beetles use oil as well as air to keep cool. Bodywise, open the doors and grab hold of the inner sill and squeeze it hard. If it crunches, walk away. thats the main heater channel and its one of the few major jobs on a Bug. Better still peel back the carpet and look for poor welds and patches. You are bound to find repairs which is fine if they are done well. Look under the front fenders and look for holes where the floor meets the inner wing. Easy fix but another negotiating point. Check the guttering and the windscreen surround for rust, look in the spare wheel well for rust. Seats usually wear badly, its very common but headlinings should be ok although easy to replace. The mc pherson front end is brilliant for the highway and far superior to the old beam setup. If the car has sat for a long period then overhaul the brakes etc as you would normally do on any car thats stood up. All easy and cheap to do. If you find a good Beetle you will be hooked, ive had hundreds and i own 5 now!! My daily driver is a 1971 1302 Super and its absolutely reliable and massive fun. A 1302 super has a round front end and flat windshield, the 1303 super has a round front end and curved windshield. Only problems while driving is crosswinds, they dont like them much, but far from dangerous. Good luck and i wish you well if you buy it. Regards,

It is frequently noticed that soft skills training is being kicked into second place behind hard skills, and often this is simply because of the difficulties facing managers in terms of assessing the impact of soft skills training. But just because soft skills are a little harder to deal with when it comes to assessing the impact any training has on the business as a whole and its bottom line in particular, this doesn't mean that soft skills training should be relegated to second place behind qualifications and hard skills which come with university seals.
Our communication skills courses demonstrate the range of departments within a business that need to ensure effective communication, yet this is a skill never covered within university courses, and rarely offered support within the work sector unless specific soft skills training is outsourced. Soft skills can be said to cover interpersonal skills such as confidence, assertiveness, discipline, empathy, teamwork, leadership, motivation and such like. We offer courses in all these areas, and many businesses have found that the art of negotiation has proved to be highly effective in encouraging employees to engage, rather than take a passive approach to business communications. These skills can easily be overlooked or ignored, with the assumption that if one or two people lack in certain departments, they'll be supported by those who do have strong interpersonal skills, and that everyone is likely to have at least one area of interpersonal skill in which they shine. In such a situation the effectiveness of soft skills training is likely to be directed at how quickly and how efficiently they get to the shoreline. This is the crucial factor in assessing soft skills training ROI: set needs criteria before any training is booked, and then use those needs criteria as the basis for on-going assessment. Repairing a Leaky Toilet Without a Plumber
A leaky toilet can lead to other major issues such as it can damage the flooring and sub flooring. More severe problems can also damage ceilings and framings below. Leaks can be caused at flush valve or fill valve. However, sometimes, it may also be caused due to hairline tank cracks at those locations.
These are very severe problems, and in these cases, you may need to replace the tank or possibly even the entire toilet. We have tried to explore a few possible reasons for the leaks, and the procedure to fix it. In order to find out the reasons for the leaks, first tighten all the connections.
Dry everything with a towel and then carefully examine the source of the leaks. Once you have determined the source, you can proceed and fix it using the following steps.
Loose Nuts under Tanks
Tools Required:
Flathead screwdriver
Adjustable wrench
Procedure
1. Using the flathead screwdriver, hold the bolt steady.
2. At the same time, tighten the nuts on the underside of the tank by using the adjustable wrench.
3. Check if the water still leaks. If no, that is great. If yes, follow the steps below.
4. Holding the bolt steady (as in step one) using the adjustable wrench, remove the nuts, and change the washer with a proper-size new washer for the bolt.
If Water is Leaking at the Fill Valve
Tools Required:
Wrench
Procedure
1. Turn off the water supply to the toilet.
2. Drain the tank by flushing it
3. Using a wrench, disconnect the supply-tube coupling nut.
4. Remove the mounting nut of the fill valve.
5. Lift out the fill valve
6. Clean its gasket and washer
7. Carefully examine if it is damaged or dried out. If so, you have no other option but to replace it.
8. Hold the valve vertical, and carefully position it in the center of the hole.
9. Tighten the mounting nut. Make sure not to over-tighten it, as it can crack the porcelain.
10. Reconnect the supply tube
11. Turn on the water supply to the toilet
12. If the problem persists, tighten the mounting nut a little more.
If Water is Leaking at the Flush Valve
Tools
Large standard screwdriver
Socket Wrench
Spud Wrench
Soapy sponge
Procedure
1. Follow the steps 1-3 as discussed above
2. Remove the mounting bolts of the tanks. For this, you can use a large standard screwdriver on the bolt, and a socket wrench on the nut.
3. Put the tank upside down.
4. Pull or twist off the rubber spud washer.
5. Unscrew the large locking nut from the flush valve using a spud wrench.
6. Put the tank aside. However, make sure that you place it on a bath mat or similar padding. This way, you can protect both the flooring and the tank.
7. Remove the flush valve.
8. Take out the beveled cone washer from the flush valve.
9. If they are in poor condition, replace them. If no, just use a soapy sponge and clean them.
10. Reinstall the tank, as discussed above. However, make sure that when you tighten the bolt, you have somebody to hold it level and plumb.
11. Remember, the beveled side of the cone washer must face the inside of the tank, while the beveled side of the spud washer must face the bowl.
Hence, follow the above simple steps and you can do it yourself. However, make sure that you have the necessary plumbing tools available to you.

You might as well use a torch because your gonna have to replace the nut and stud anyway. They do make special sockets. I have them at my shop but they are pointless.
