The Human Hip-Part 2
Accessory movements are the small gliding and sliding movements which occur inside a joint during normal movement but which cannot be performed in isolation by a person. They are essential to the function of a joint and if lost can interfere with the ability to perform movements or can contribute to painful conditions. In the hip the accessory movements are not obvious with few gliding and sliding movements due to its deep and stable nature. One accessory movement which does occur is upwards and downwards, i.e. compression into the socket and distraction of the femoral head out of the socket.
The cycles of compression and relaxation which occur with weight bearing and gait are essential to the health and nutrition of cartilage. As the cartilage is compressed it gives to some extent even though it is quite dense and once this is released it reverts to normal shape, squeezing the fluid out of it under pressure and then sucking it back in as force is removed. This sets up a pumping action of fluid up from within the cartilage and underlying bone, providing an essential fluid replacement mechanism to keep cartilage healthy.
The production of new cartilage is in response to the daily expected mechanical stresses put on a joint, and with the high forces involved in heel strike the cycle of stresses and relaxation are important to counter this. Encouraging larger movements in greater ranges may be useful to encourage growth of cartilage, however if loads are static or significantly reduced the opposite may occur. Loss of cartilage may occur with continued static loading, high bodyweight and allowing the joint forces to reduce by using a walking aid.
While resting a joint may reduce the pain at first it may not be the most successful treatment for a painful joint. The normal processes of cartilage regeneration do not occur when insufficient force is applied to the joint and the joint capsule may shrink to some degree, tightening the joint. This tightness may increase the typical joint compression and so the pain. It is important to take into account any pain in a joint but on average it is better to keep arthritic joints mobile rather than still. A good blood circulation to the areas around the hip is kept up by the rhythms of cyclical gait.
The ligamentum teres, a band like structure running from the head of the femur to the socket, has blood vessels which may be affected by the cycle of gait which produces a effect of pumping fluid through. This may allow better blood supply to the head of the femur and keep the bone healthy. To maintain the density and normal composition of the bone in the upper femur it is important for this area to be subject to normal forces such as walking. Use of a walking aid or resting in bed can cause loss of bone density and mineralisation, with the bone becoming less flexible and less resistant to jars and strains.
In western societies we typically use little of the relatively large available ranges of movement of the hip joint. We walk in a limited, repetitive range and when we sit we typically do so at a mostly high level so our hips don't go beyond 90 degrees flexion. We seldom push our hips to the extremes of movement of which they are capable and this tendency increases greatly with age. Overall the hip will benefit from maintaining a variety of its movements and from placing it at the ends of its ranges at times. Eastern peoples typically squat or sit cross legged, even to iron, and seem to have lower levels of hip arthritis.
If the ranges of movement are not routinely used the capsule of the joint will tend to tighten to a degree, increasing the forces which compress the head into the socket. A discrepancy in the length of leg can have a subtle effect on the hip range of movement, particularly of extension. When standing the longer leg will tend to shorten itself slightly to compensate for its length and keep the head and eyes at a normal angle. This means it is held forward by a slight flexion of the hip and knee and so some of the range of hip extension is lost as a hip flexion contracture develops.

I have samsung television which has RF input and Composite input sockets. I have laptop which has S-Video and VGA output sockets. I want to see the contents of the computer on television. Will this need be solved by just purchasing a cable or I will have to purchase a costly device. And whether the quality on television will be appreciable.
You can use a S-video to composite video cable, but your resolution will be limited to 480i (actually slightly worse than the 640x480 you would see on a computer monitor).

How do I clear all information about what I browsed so that even a genius will not find what I did or my email
I do not want people knowing my email addresses after I am off the PC. I use cyber cafes(public computers). I usually go to tools-internet options then I clear history, cookies and temporary files. Can someone still find out after this?
if you are using cyber cafes then you are not the administrator and yes they can see what you did because you didn't and can't get into the temporary files storage of drive C. all you deleted was the temp files of the history.
Security Note: never save any password on a public computer and try to avoid using them to check mail and NEVER use one for any financial type of business.

How To Name Your Cat With Ease
Pet cats hold a very special place in the hearts of their owners. Wouldn't it be nice to give a pet cat the loveliest name one can think of? Wouldn't it be great to give a pet cat a name that would reflect its personality as seen by the one who owns it or a name which would give recognition to the cat's breed? There are actually a lot of names to choose from in books or in the internet. But generally, how can an owner choose a name which he will find fit for his cat?
Many cat owners name their pet cats with human names. Actually, a whopping fifty percent of pet names are those of persons. This primarily is because there are owners who are enamored with a certain name and actually desire to christen someone, or something for that matter, with that favorite name.
Another basis for names is personality or appearance. In this category, examples are Midnight (should the pet be a black cat), Fluffy (obviously, if the cat is fluffy or has long, soft and bouncy coat) and Whitey (of course, if the cat is white). Pet names based on appearances or personality make up an amazing twenty percent of all pet names. However, unlike human infants where the parents can opt to wait for a few weeks to see the baby's personality before naming the child, cats must be named more quickly.
So how does an owner actually name his pet cat? Here are some tips which cat owners can give some thought.
First off, keep in mind that the name that the owner chooses for his pet cat will not only reflect the cat's character but also how the owner views his relationship with his pet cat. As much as it says a lot about the cat, the name given by the owner will tell much about the owner himself. It can then be seen how the name can portray an image of the characteristics of the cat. Many cat names give either a positive or negative impression of the cat. So, it is important to choose a name which will best convey the proper image of the pet.
A cat's name is for keeps. No matter which name the owner chooses, the cat's name should be that for the rest of his life. It is absolutely not fair to change the cat's name every two weeks just because the owner finds another name he thinks he might prefer. If the cat already recognizes the sound of its name it should not be changed.
Although the cat won't mind any name its owner may wish to use, it is just not fair to give the cat an embarrassing name. While the cat would not mind being named "Ooga Booga", it would be embarrassing for the owner to actually use this name. Imagine a person calling out "Ooga Booga" at least eight times a day every time he is looking for his cat. The cat's owner should find his pet a name which he will be proud to use. Also please remember to pick a name which will be appropriate when your cat is full-grown. A large tabby cat with a silly name like Mimi or Kitten seems ridiculous.
A name with two syllables will do best. The response of animals is better to two-syllable names. A cat owner may decide to give his pet a long name as well as a nick name. However, the longer name inevitably would be shortened, and this would probably ruin the effect the cat owner originally sought.
The cat's breed heritage may provide great ideas for names. For instance, if the cat owner owns a Siamese cat, why not name it Siam? If the cat is a Russian Blue, it would be nice to give it a Russian-sounding or Russian inspired name such as Sofia or Chekov.
Speaking of inspiration, there are a lot of things out there from which you can gain inspiration. As was said earlier, the name the owner gives his cat will speak just as much about himself. So why not pick a name for the cat which is derived from the owner's likes, hobbies and favorites? If the owner were passionate about world history, maybe the names Isis, Genghis, Voltaire or Osiris would sound very classy. If the owner were an avid fan of the Greek mythology the names Zeus, Athena, Hercules or Jason would be sure to make a good first impression on other people.
On the more contemporary side, names of characters from favorite movies, cartoon series, TV programs or bands will do just as well. Huey, Louie and Duey would sound cute as well as Bonnie and Clyde. A more posh touch would be naming your cat after signature designers. Tommy, Donna, Karan, Calvin and Gianni would not sound so bad for cats--just as long as they are well groomed as their names imply. Naming cats is not the easiest task there is, honestly. But it can be a lot of fun if these considerations and suggestions are always kept in mind. Then no doubt, that perfect name will come easily. Wouldn't it be great for an owner to call his pet cat a name which is close to his heart and a name he will be proud to call out no matter what time of the day?

In the trailer for the movie ATONEMENT, what is the song called that is playing. It sounds like the clicking of a typewriter. I love it. it'd be helpful also if you could tell me when they're no longer showing in the movie theatres. I want to see it but it's not playing down here.

As for the movie, its still in limited release and will playing in more theaters as we get close to the Oscars and Golden Globes.

Isuzu Releases N-series Trucks for Landscape Market
At the much-concluded Super Bowl in Las Vegas, General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck LLC launched its latest light-duty N-Series commercial trucks. The truck series for the model year 2008 is aimed at a more specific application to include landscaping.
The 2008 Isuzu N-Series features more cab room, enhanced safety features and even greater power. It also offers a more spacious cab with more side-to-side and front-to-back room to promote comfortable travel. The vehicle also holds a sophisticated dashboard with a full complement of easy-to-see gauges and warning lamps. There is also the existence of an easy-to-remove panel for easy access to the wiper motor and linkage as well as other features like Isuzu cold air intake filters, electrical cab connections, storage areas like seat backs, dashboard, glove box, overhead storage shelves and a rear storage organizer.
Other features also include large map pockets built into the new, fully trimmed door panels and cup holders in the center console for oversized drinks and in the dash for regular-sized cans and cups. Optional equipment includes radios, GPS systems and rear view cameras. The truck also is compliant with the more stringent emissions standards that were enforced at the beginning of the year.
In United States, the main rival of the N-Series include the Bering MS, Chevrolet W-Series, GMC W-Series, Mitsubishi Fuso FE and the UD 1200/1300/1400. In Japan, its main competitors include the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, UD Atlas, Toyota Dyna, and the Hino Dutro.
The Isuzu N-Series comes in gas and diesel models. The choice of the vehicle model could play an essential difference in operating cost. “Landscapers and (those in) other industries still don’t understand that vehicles that are produced in this country or sold in this country, that are produced after the first of January 2007 have to meet these strict standards,” said Todd Bloom, the vice president for marketing for General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck LLC. The price of the vehicle may increase from $2,000 and $5,000, depending on the variants.
“I need to attack different applications,” Bloom added. “Let’s say for instance I do not offer my crew cab in a gas version. Many (landscape contractors) are putting (fewer) miles on vehicles a year. I will open up a whole new market in the landscaping industry when I start selling the crew cab in the gas version. It will be a huge, huge success. The majority of my incremental sales are going to come from landscaping and some construction.”
“Isuzu customers who operate their vehicles less than 30,000 miles a year are finding that our gasoline-powered LCFs provide them with substantial savings – up to $7,000 on their initial investment when compared to the same truck equipped with diesel power,” said Joe Totaro, the executive vice president and general manager, General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck LLC.
On the other hand, Isuzu’s diesel expertise has been established for the last couple of years in Japan. “We have 60,000 (diesel) vehicles in Japan,” Bloom said. “We understand this technology backwards and forwards.” “It basically is to the point where it’s incredibly clean,” Bloom noted. “There is no more particulate matter at all that comes out f the back of a diesel truck. It does add weight; it adds complexity; it adds cost.”
“Nobody can mess around with the vehicle,” Bloom concluded. “You just can’t do those things anymore.”
