Smooth Gear Shifting With an Axle Assembly
There are many parts in a vehicle that account for the rotation of the wheels – the steering wheel, the shifting gears, and the axle assembly. The car's axle assembly is a combination of an axle shaft, CV-joint (constant velocity) and sometimes a U-joint. It's main function is to transfer the rotational force coming from the transmission to the wheels. Thus, with its function, it is normally found on front and 4-wheel drive vehicles, trucks, and high-end rear-wheel drive European cars. This ensures that the high performance of the engine is transmitted to wheels in a manner that it is still at its full potential, but within the control of the driver.
Because of this, Saturn Corporation, one of the makes of General Motors, pays extra attention in the production of their Saturn Axle Assembly. They commit to giving only comfort to their customers, and comfort is what they give. They just don't put comfort on the seats but on the whole of the ride as well, and so they make their Saturn Axle Assembly with much effort. This way, shifting gears won't be much of a hassle anymore.
As what's mentioned before, axle assembly is found in 4-wheel drives and sports utility vehicles like the Saturn models. Putting that in mind, anyone could come to the conclusion that Saturn Axle Assembly is always faced with much stress on the road. With the difficult terrain and off-roads that these SUVs usually travel in, the Saturn Axle Assembly becomes real prone to damage. The bumps and potholes found on the road can really cause harm to the drivetrain, specifically its component parts. The axle shaft can give stress to the CV-joint or even a U-joint if not handled properly. The transfer of the gear should be seamless and so the parts must be meticulously greased and be kept safe from dirts outside.
Therefore the drivetrain should always be working at its best. The rubber gasket or the boot, which protects a CV-joint from dirt should always be checked for cracks or leaks. These dirts could contaminate the whole Saturn Axle Assembly and can cause damage for the joints. This contamination could be the worst damage they could get as repairing it won't help, and even flushing these contaminants may even worsen the problem.
So it is just anyone's bet is, that the only preventive measure drivers could do is to drive their cars carefully especially when in rough roads. Also, have a routine checkup. However, if worse comes to worst and a driver would need to replace his Saturn Axle Assembly, then they just need to go to their trusted auto parts store that has OEM quality parts for the axle assembly.

How to Sell - Emotions' Role in Internet Marketing
They say ...
People buy using their emotions.
People buy benefits, not features.
If we accept these two guidelines of sales and marketing, it would stand to reason that benefits are, or at least include, emotions. I don't buy the wrench for the benefit of being able to fix my plumbing, still less for the chrome plate feature. Rather, I buy the wrench to fix my plumbing--
to make me feel as if I have accomplished something,
to stop myself from feeling guilty,
to stop my fear of water damage,
to persuade my wife that I am worthwhile,
to give myself a sense of control over my environment--
you get the picture.
OK, so the chrome plate feature may make me feel proud to own the thing. So am I buying a wrench or the feelings the tool gives me?
And being essentially self-centered ourselves on the sales end, it takes work and experience, not to mention creativity, for us to know why our potential customers want to buy our product or service ... or how to find the customer that fits the profile we think would make it likely we have a buyer. It takes work to see I am not selling a wrench, but the emotional benefits the wrench provides. I am not selling what I want, but what the customer wants. If I understand what I am selling (emotions), I will be able to increase sales and customer satisfaction more than if all I see is a wrench.
So online where I have no face-to-face contact with potential customers, how do I figure out why people might buy what I have to offer? That's a question too large to address here save in brief. Pay-per-click using relevant keywords (see Google's keyword tool in Adwords), garnering feedback in social networking sites and through email responses, using the imagination, re-writing text, and two other points.
One, make it personal with online images, pictures, and video. This increases the emotional side of trust and visually stirs the viewer to positive motivating feelings (if the viewer is a potential customer). Two, try to hit as many motivating emotions as you can. The more motivating emotions stirred, the more likely that the person will buy.

How to Connect the 2D Data Matrix Scanner
The UII marking of items are the efficient item management process of Government and private organizations. The UID data is engraved on the item or labels in the form of 2D data matrix symbols. The symbols are machine-readable codes and need to be decoded with a 2D data matrix scanner. The 2D data matrix scanner is an electronic device meant to interpret the printed barcodes on the items. Technologically, the device is developed with decoder circuitry that analyses the image data of the barcode and sends the interpreted data to the output port of the scanner.
Use of 2D data matrix scanner became widespread due to the use of 2D barcode symbols in the UII of the items. There are different methods of connection of the device depending on the usage.
Earlier, the barcode scanners of all formats used RS232 serial interface. The simple and electrical means of connection use easy and simple software, it needs to be written for particular computers and their serial ports though.
Proprietary interfaces are less common interfaces and were used with dedicated hardware. Wand emulation is another kind of output that decodes the raw wave. It can also convert the unrecognized symbologies into another kind of symbology that is easily recognized by the host device.
With the advent of innovative technologies, PCs has become the popular device. PCs and its standard keyboard interfaces are becoming convenient for any kind of user as they are easier to connect with physical hardware. With the commercial and general demand of reducing the complications of the associated software the ‘Keyboard Wedges’ have been introduced for connecting the 2D data matrix scanner. The ‘Keyboard Wedges’ is a hardware with characters from the barcode scanner appearing as if typed in through the keyboard and is attached between PC and its keyboard. This type of connection of the 2D data matrix scanner has simplified the use of the device. However, it has limitations in handling the content of the data matrix code.
Of course, these days, the USB connectors have replaced the keyboard ports for it is a more convenient hardware option. The easy integration of the scanner is retained by using a ‘software wedge’ in place of ‘keyboard wedge’.
PS/2 or USB cables are the becoming popular these days for connecting barcode scanners. The cables are connected with the 2D data matrix scanner at one end and the PS/2 keyboard port with another end. The data matrix codes are received by the host computer and converted keyboard input. Many scanner support the USB. Choices for the USB interface types are provided by many scanners. For instance, some of the devices have powered USB.
These days, most of the devices are being connected with wireless networking. The modern 2D data matrix scanners are also available with such facilities. The wireless enabled scanners are operated with the help of Bluetooth and WLAN. However, such devices use battery or rechargeable battery for their function which limit their time of operation.
With the changing technology the methods of connection of the 2D data matrix scanner is improving and being more user friendly.

Can I use a PCI SCSI card to replace an ISA SCSI card? It's for my Umax S-12 scanner.?
Hi there... I'm an intermediate PC veteran, & have largely stayed away from SCSI devices mostly due to price. However, I was recently given an Umax S-12 scanner. It comes with it's own controller card, which is an ISA interface. Now, as most of us know, only older PC's will have those slots since they have been phased out.
So I want to know if I can get a PCI SCSI card to replace the original. I think the ISA card is a 50-pin card. I know there are 50-pin cards available but am unsure of compatibility issues. Does this scanner only work w/ that card, or can it work w/ any SCSI card w/ the same # of pins? I'd like to know b4 I buy a card.
Any recommendations as to what kinda card to get? Cuz I'm sure not replacing my motherboard !! Thanks in advance !!
Thanx guys, that's a good start at least ... my motherboard does not have an on-board SCSI controller, so that's out. But since I'm SCSI ignorant, how do I know the difference between the types of SCSI ?? Thanks again...
Adaptec makes a bunch as long as you get the same type of connector (scsi-1, scsi-2, scsi fast-wide, etc) you can replace the isa card with a pci card.. The scanner will not know the difference. Adaptec is a quality name. Some motherboards offer a scsi interface as an optional add-on.

Are electric patio heaters (Infrared) as good as Gas powered heaters?
I am looking at a 1000 watt model in the hardware store at the moment, i want to know if they are as effective as a gas heater? has anyone seen any reviews of electric vs gas?

I use an electric infrared space heater to heat my living room, because the cabinet does not get hot to the touch and the grand children only have to be taught to stay away from the out let.

There is both an overview of the subject. Amazon states of the product description of this item comes with two batteries and a charger with two ports. Black & Decker product description shows that the three batteries and three connections from the charger (which makes sense, given that there are three instruments require batteries, and many reports indicate that this battery is not very long).
Amazon customer service can not be verified or is correct, I only suggest buying things, and if it becomes full. As if the proposal is ridiculous, can someone who has bought this case to tell me if it comes with two batteries, three, or if the battery and may be two or three batteries?

great combination of useful tools
Have used these only for a couple of weeks. The trimmer has a strong cut, and the blower works well on walks, driveways and patios to get the small trash away. The "hangers" are not as easy to mount as I woulod have expected, especially the battery charger.

I used to hate trimming my grass. I would only do it once a month because of the cumbersome electrical cords. It seemed to take much longer than it should. With this Grass Hog, I just take the trimmer off the hook, grab a battery, pop it in, and I'm off. It's light weight and I move quickly around my house and yard. The trimming is done is 1/4 the time it used to take, no kidding!
I've never had a blower before. After mowing I love the ease of using the lightweight blower to make short work of the stray clippings on the driveway, sidewalk and patio. It's not an extremely powerful blower, but it does the job for me. I wouldn't want a heavier one.
I've never operated a hedge trimmer in my life and was a little wary of trying one. But this one is not too heavy, has a great safety switch, and is easy to maneuver. It was more work to pick up the branches than it was to trim them!
I recommend this set for it's great convenience, ease of use, and the price.

Excellent product
This is the second time I purchased this set! The first set is over 10 years old and is still working but the hedge trimmer is getting dull. I tried to replace the blade but don't think they make a replacement (if they do, I couldn't find it). I then was going to just replace the hedge trimmer but since the weed whacker is used extensively and would probably need replacing soon, it made more sense to buy the set again and in so doing, get 3 new batteries and a spare charger too! I could no longer find the set in the stores and was thrilled to find it online. The fact that I don't have to mess with an extension cord or kill myself trying to start a gas model is a real plus!
If I had a complaint, it would be concerning the leaf blower which works OK on hard surfaces (garage floor and driveway) but is definately not powerful enough for removing leaves from the lawn.

Blower is Weak, NiCad battery life concern
I have not had the best luck with NiCad packs in the past. NiMH generally are far more accepting of leaving on a charger for extended periods, don't discharge as quickly, and would be lighter for a given capacity.
For now though, these are very light weight and quiet devices that simply put get the job done with no fuss.
The blower is a bit on the weak side, but effective enough for getting grass off the AC, patio, and driveway. Do not expect to be blowing small branches or even heavy leaf falls with this though, it doesn't have the oomph.

Have used since I bought at Amazon in April 2005 for $189.
I have since bought the B&D garden loper and the cultivator. Also bought an additional 2 batteries, so I am able to rotate the 7 batteries.
I have an 80 x 135 lot, and usually can do all the grass trimming on 1 battery.
Like many have said, the batteries do not last a long time and the blower is pretty weak.
On the other hand, I use the blower to blow the grass clippings off the sidewalk and blow all those pesky maple tree buds and "helicopters" off the driveway. Also is handy blowing leaves off the deck.
The convenience of not dragging a electrical extension cord around and maintaining a gas trimmer more than make up for any of the other shortcomings of this set.
I am more than satisfied with the set.

Extremely happy 3 years later
I've had these tools for over 3 years now, and am so extremely satisfied with them that I decided to post a review. Everything works wonderfully - string trimmer cuts and edges everything I've asked it to, same with hedge trimmers. Blower works great for clearing sidewalk/driveway, struggles with wet leaves on grass (but really isn't designed for that kind of job).
Batteries have worked so well that I've switched all my power tools to B&D. Of course the newer batteries work better/longer than the older ones so I pick and choose my jobs - older batteries for the flashlight, newer batteries for the circular saw and string trimmer.

But if you want to be a professional watch repairers and a watchmaker, then you have to think about getting a good watch makers bench. It is expensive no doubt about that but if you are serious about your work and your hobby; then it’s a worth while investment.
And I’m not just saying this; watchmaker’s benches are really beautiful. They look like tiny medicine chests with a lot of well-made shallow drawers built into the model to help you out. Remember that the positioning of your table is as important as the table itself. Find areas that are free from carpets and draperies. The sliding top will catch any small part which rolls out but it might not be able to catch all. You don’t want the pieces to get lost in carpeting and drapery! Keep the table in a well lit and aired corner of your work room and when you are not working cover it with a piece of white cloth. This ensures that you are caring for your workplace well.

What is an Ideal height for workbench if using an adjustable drafting stool but also standing over the bench?
I'm 5'9", and the workbench will be used for electronics. I plan on using an adjustable drafting stool to sit on, but I also want the top of the work surface to be high enough so I can stand and work comfortably. I don't want to hunch over too much.
Kitchen counter height: 34"-36".
You could go up to 40"-42" if you're taller than the average bear.
Think of it this way - kitchen counters are designed to be used in a standing position. Plus, you'll be able to get your legs under it using the lowest position for the drafting stool.

Your hands aren't going to cut the mustard. Buy a quality *cup style oil filter wrench and a 3/8 ratchet to remove oil filters.

Air, One of Nature's Four Basic Elements
I was inspired to write this article because of a picture I took of a butterfly taken on my land in one of my gardens. I noticed a beautiful blue light trailing the butterfly, was intrigued, and asked a well known author on spiritual matters for her opinion. I was told the blue light was the energy of Dom, the elemental Master of the air spirits. I consider myself a spiritual person but really knew nothing about air spirits so I did a little research and found it to be quite interesting.
Air is one of the four basic elements of nature (Fire, Earth and Water are the other three). Within each of the four elements are nature spirits that are the spiritual essence of that element. Ancient myths and theories say that these four elements were sent to the earth to bring about order, linking humankind to nature.
Elemental spirits exist in the ethereal world which runs parallel to our own. They are living entities oftentimes resembling humans in shape. They are made up of etheric substance that is unique and specific to their particular element. They live, propagate off spring, eat, talk, and sleep. They can be seen or felt intuitively or seen through the lens of a camera.
The elementals serving on planet Earth materialize whatever they pick up from the thoughts and feelings of mankind. They help us as much as they can by removing toxins and impurities from the air, the sea and the land.
Elemental spirits cannot be destroyed by frosser material elements such as fire, air, earth, and water because they are etheric in nature. However, they are not immortal. They live a very long time, 300 to 1,000 years (never seeming to get old), and when their work is finished they are absorbed back into the ocean of spirit.
The nature spirits of Air are called sylphs (Earth is gnomes, Fire is salamanders and Water is undines). The sylphs find disturbances in the air currents and quickly work to restore harmony. Their activities are manifest in the gathering of clouds, in the blowing of the wind, the downpour of rain and the formation of snow. They are also responsible for the growth and maturity of all plant life.
The sylphs are sources of light that produce inspiration and feed the mind. They are drawn to those who use their minds, particularly those on creative arts. It is generally thought that they are attracted to poets and artists and instills them with visions of spiritual beauty. They can help us with our spiritual and mystical development. Sylphs startle us into seeing and thinking in new and exciting ways.
The Sylphs frequently assume the appearance of humans but only for short periods of time. They have the power to change their size and appearance (from as large as a human to being much smaller) almost at will; however, they cannot change elements.

my fish is taking air from the surface?
my new african butterfly fish that i just got yesterday is taking air from the surface and then spitting out a bubble. the ph is optimum and the nitrates are below thirty ppm and there are no traces of nitrites or nitrates. it looks like he is attacking food but he will swim a few inches then attack the surface and repeat. any ideas whats wrong
there big bubbles that pop a few seconds after he burps it up
no meds all my fish are healthy i did put some aquarium salt in last night when i put him in to help relieve his stress he just started doing it today though
Initial thoughts:
- Fish may still be stressed from the move from wherever you got it
Other ideas:
- Is the water temperature correct for the fish (72-82dF)?
- Tank correct size for the fish?
- Did you get it from a reputable dealer? Watch the fish for signs of other signs of illness/disease over the next 14 days.
- Do you have a filter running and an air stone in the tank? Your fish may not have enough oxygen in the water. (1 air stone per 15 gallons is a good rule of thumb for most tanks/fish.)
- Did you condition the water (dechlorinate, etc?) before adding the fish?
- Is it a new tank? How long did you let the tank cycle before adding the fish? If the answer is less then 5 days, water test every day for the next week or so. Those fish don't always do well with nitrate spikes from cycling.
