Cache Memory
A computer processor is very fast and is constantly reading information from memory, which means it often has to wait for the information to arrive, because the memory access times are slower than the processor speed. A cache memory is a small, temporary, but fast memory that the processor uses for information it is likely to need again in the very near future.
Noncomputer examples of caching are all around us. Keeping them in mind
will help you to understand computer memory caching. Think of a homeowner with a very large tool chest in the garage. Suppose you are this homeowner and have a home improvement project to work on in the basement. You know this project will require drills, wrenches, hammers, a tape measure, several types of saws, and many different types and sizes of screwdrivers. The first thing you want to do is measure and then cut some wood. You run out to the garage, grabthe tape measure from a huge tool storage chest, run down to the basement, measure the wood, run back out to the garage, leave the tape measure, grab the saw, and then return to the basement with the saw and cut the wood. Now you decide to bolt some pieces of wood together. So you run to the garage, grab the drill set, go back down to the basement, drill the holes to put the bolts through, go back to the garage, leave the drill set, grab one wrench, go back to the basement, find out the wrench is the wrong size, go back to the tool chest in the garage, grab another wrench, run back downstairs . . . wait! Would you really work this way? No!Being a reasonable person, you think to yourself “If I need one wrench, I will probably need another one of a different size soon anyway, so why not just grab the whole set of wrenches?” Taking this one step further, you reason “Once I am done with one certain tool, there is a good chance I will need another soon, so why not just pack up a small toolbox and take it to the basement?” This way, you keep the tools you need close at hand, so access is faster. You have just cached some tools for easy access and quick use! The tools you are less likely to use remain stored in a location that is further away and requires more time to access. This is all that cache memory does: It stores data that has been accessed and data that might be accessed by the CPU in a faster, closer memory.
Another cache analogy is found in grocery shopping. You seldom, if ever, go to the grocery store to buy one single item. You buy any items you require immediately in addition to items you will most likely use in the future. The grocery store is similar to main memory, and your home is the cache. As another example, consider how many of us carry around an entire phone book. Most of us have a small address book instead. We enter the names and numbers of people we tend to call more frequently; looking a number up in our address book is much quicker than finding a phone book, locating the name, and then getting the number. We tend to have the address book close at hand, whereas the phone book is probably located in our home, hidden in an end table or bookcase somewhere. The phone book is something we do not use frequently, so we can afford to store it in a little more out of the way location. Comparing the size of our address book to the telephone book, we see that the address book “memory” is much smaller than that of a telephone book. But the probability is very high that when we make a call, it is to someone in our address book.
Students doing research offer another commonplace cache example. Suppose you are writing a paper on quantum computing. Would you go to the library, check out one book, return home, get the necessary information from that book, go back to the library, check out another book, return home, and so on? No, you would go to the library and check out all the books you might need and bring them all home. The library is analogous to main memory, and your home is, again, similar to cache.
And as a last example, consider how one of your authors uses her office. Any materials she does not need (or has not used for a period of more than six months) get filed away in a large set of filing cabinets. However, frequently used “data” remain piled on her desk, close at hand, and easy (sometimes) to find. If she needs something from a file, she more than likely pulls the entire file, not simply one or two papers from the folder. The entire file is then added to the pile on herdesk. The filing cabinets are her “main memory” and her desk (with its many unorganized-looking piles) is the cache.
Cache memory works on the same basic principles as the preceding examples by copying frequently used data into the cache rather than requiring an access to main memory to retrieve the data. Cache can be as unorganized as your author’s desk or as organized as your address book. Either way, however, the data must be accessible (locatable). Cache memory in a computer differs from our real-life examples in one important way: The computer really has no way to know, a priori, what data is most likely to be accessed, so it uses the locality principle and transfers an entire block from main memory into cache whenever it has to make a main memory access. If the probability of using something else in that block is high, then transferring the entire block saves on access time. The cache location for this new block depends on two things: the cache mapping policy (discussed in the next section) and the cache size (which affects whether there is room for the new block).
The size of cache memory can vary enormously. A typical personal computer’slevel 2 (L2) cache is 256K or 512K. Level 1 (L1) cache is smaller, typically 8K or 16K. L1 cache resides on the processor, whereas L2 cache resides between the CPU and main memory. L1 cache is, therefore, faster than L2 cache. The relationship between L1 and L2 cache can be illustrated using our grocery store example: If the store is main memory, you could consider your refrigerator the L2 cache, and the actual dinner table the L1 cache.
The purpose of cache is to speed up memory accesses by storing recently
used data closer to the CPU, instead of storing it in main memory. Although
cache is not as large as main memory, it is considerably faster. Whereas main memory is typically composed of DRAM with, say, a 60ns access time, cache is typically composed of SRAM, providing faster access with a much shorter cycle time than DRAM (a typical cache access time is 10ns). Cache does not need to be very large to perform well. A general rule of thumb is to make cache small enough so that the overall average cost per bit is close to that of main memory, but large enough to be beneficial. Because this fast memory is quite expensive,it is not feasible to use the technology found in cache memory to build all of main memory.
What makes cache “special”? Cache is not accessed by address; it is accessed by content. For this reason, cache is sometimes called content addressable memory or CAM. Under most cache mapping schemes, the cache entries must be checked or searched to see if the value being requested is stored in cache. To simplify this process of locating the desired data, various cache mapping algorithms are used.

How To Install A Vauxhall Astra Aftermarket Radio
Small Battery: use a battery to test speaker wires. Touching the (+) positive and (-) negative battery leads to a pair of speaker will cause the speaker to make a "Pop" sound indicating that pair of wires goes to that speaker. Voltage Meter: Always check +12 Volt power wires for voltage before making wire connections. These wires will fluctuate between 10 and 14 Volts. Solder Iron or Crimp Tool: make wire to wire connections using either a solder iron or electrical tape, OR plastic crimp terminals found at most
PLUS: Wire ties or electrical tape: to neatly bundle and organize your hardware or auto parts stores.
Installation steps for Vauxhall Astra aftermarket radio
•The best option with the Astra (aside from replacing the head unit) is to get a wired FM transmitter.
•It plugs into the antenna port on the back of the radio, and the car's antenna plugs into the transmitter.
•When you listen to XM, it essentially disconnects the car antenna to virtually eliminate radio station interference.
•I'm sure at some point there will be aftermarket parts for the trim bezel and the wiring harnesses.
•With an aftermarket head unit the DIC won't be able to show radio info. Hopefully there will be a way to keep the DIC from crapping out altogether due to lack of factory radio.
•This adaptor is required to replace a Vauxhall Astra factory fitted radio with a Clarion aftermarket model.
•It converts the car's original power and speakers wiring connector to a standard ISO connector, as used on all our radios.
•Simply plug one end of the adaptor into your cars wiring harness, and the other end into your new radio; no cutting of wires is necessary.
•The good news for those that are looking to install a new stereo into their vehicle is that car manufacturers have long ago made sure to make it easy to swap.
•Now the only hard part is making sure the vehicle fits into the dash and the speakers fit with your new stereo receiver.
•Since every car model may have a different dash depth it is important to know the dimension before you buy a car stereo.
•Some stereos are double DIN size or single DIN size making installation a breeze or a nightmare.
•The good news is that most car stereo manufacturers create stereos made for just about every make and model vehicle on the market.
•Besides the head unit, it is important to put lots of thought into the speakers amps and wiring you will use.
•Your car stereo will sound only as good as your speakers so choose them correctly.
•You are installing a non-standard radio - ie; not utilising the separate display, then Halfords can supply the relevant adaptor leads / looms.
•If you have wheel mounted controls, they may no longer work although there is also a loom for this function.
•These adaptors will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a single din size ready for head unit installation.
MAINTAINING THE QUALITY WHEN INSTALLING RADIO:
•The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.
•IO CONNECT provides a cost effective solution for music integration on the move.
•Have in-car access to your music on the move, wherever you are, whatever your mood.
•With iO CONNECT you can take your music with you and create your own soundtrack for a journey via any of your portable devices.
•The SOT series leads are designed to install aftermarket hands free kits such as Parrot with ISO connections.
•They are provided in two parts; one converting Car Wiring loom to ISO the second lead is then ISO from the Car Kit and plugs back into the Car Radio.
•The floating pink wire is supposed to be loose and is a mute wire. Connect blue wire to an ignition switched source.
•Also, removing the radio will almost certainly kill On Star and things like door chimes unless and appropriate aftermarket harness is available.
•In my opinion this is the best way to set up your stereo if you decide to switch it up. I did it to get a better quality sound out of my subs, and also to have the touch screen for my IPod.
A word about the radio installation kit you are about to install. There are many manufacturers of radio installation kits for this vehicle. Each manufacturer produces slightly different variations of the same kit, and a few make individual kits for specific vehicles. The pictured installation kit shown in the illustrations below is a standard kit used for many. Radio installation kits change with the model and years of production of the vehicle. When selecting a kit for this vehicle, make sure the kit you purchase states on the package the installation kit will work with your vehicle model and year. Some kits may require additional setup. Certain kits may be multi function kits designed to work with multiple vehicles and may require the installer to remove break away screw mounting tabs attached to the kit that are not required for your particular vehicle.

What's the cause of damp in the boot of my Opel/Vauxhall Corsa?
It's been happening a while. The surface of the boot is damp. When i remove the cover and examine the underneath (where the spare tyre is) it's even wetter. I dry it all out and replace the cover but then a few days later the same problem. The fact that it's wetter underneath suggests the source of the water is from underneath and it soaks through the cover. Yet where is it coming from? It seems almost like condensation than anything else. Any help would be hugely appreciated. No money to take to garage.
it's probably condensation.it could have a hole that a wet road might blow water thru. try puting some heater hose underneath the spare.in theory thus letting more air in the area underneath the spare.

Humor: Joys of a Used Car
My 1988 VW is not just a used car. It is also a previously abused car. There's bits of airconditioner left bolted on in the engine compartment with big gaps where the working bits should have been. My mechanic tells me that the engine's got piston slap, and needs a major transplant. My kids tell me that if I gave them the car for free, they would still walk.
Which isn't a bad idea. They need to get some exercise and fresh air.
But hey, there are some advantages in owning a beat up relic of a bygone era. For one thing, I don't fear shopping trolleys banging into my car, or people opening their car doors onto my car, because it actually makes it look better. Knocks some of the rust off as well. Putting the gearlock on is like locking up your used teabags. I mean, who wants the thing anyway? If a thief steals my car, it's his own fault. He musn't come crying to me when all his robber buddies laugh at him, and the thing squirts oil on his freshly stolen shoes. And when the starter motor drops out on the freeway, that's not my fault. The car forgot long ago what a freeway is anyway. It shakes too much at speed, and I can't hold the steering wheel. When it sees an on ramp, it says "Let's not go there!"
In between all the body filler and rust nestles little oases of virgin metal. Where these are is not known to man, but they must be there or I'm sure the car would collapse like a pile of dry sand. With no airconditioner, I would normally open the window on hot days, if the window winder hadn't broken off. Luckily the rust holes provide quite a lot of ventilation. In rainy weather I use a small mop to clean the rainwater off the inside of the windsheild. Otherwise it drips on my feet.
I took the car in last week to see what I could get as a trade in. It was quite funny looking at the saleman's expression as it changed. "Where is your car sir?" "Uh, it's that VW over there, that dirty cream colored one." "Oh. Uh... Oh I see. Have you tried the scrap dealers, sir?" "Yes I have, but they say it's mostly body putty and filler, so there's not much metal to sell..." At this point the conversation becomes somewhat predictable, as the salesman suddenly remembers a previous engagement and disappears from view.
Well, at least I have no onboard computers to worry about. Or electric windows. Or windows. The windows are there, but that's about it. I don't have to worry about getting puffed up with pride. And speeding fines are only a distant fantasy. Hitch hikers put down their thumbs when I approach, and then put them up again for the garbage truck that is trying to overtake me.
I'm thinking of selling the car, so if you want it you gonna have to be quick. I may decide I like a car with character, and change my mind!

Type of Vehicle and Make?
This vehicle is yellow with one big wheel in the back and two in the front. It is almost like the spyder but you sit almost right on the ground and you have a ceiling above you. There are no doors and and small windsheild. The machine is almost more of a car then a bike. Does any one know what this is???
Maybe it is a Corbin Sparrow. Link to photo below.

Ballasts All
Ballasts All

Why are Digital Ballasts Better
Before entering into a discussion as to why digital ballasts are superior to the old-fashioned magnetic core and coil types, it may be helpful to know exactly what a ballast system is in terms of hydroponic gardening and grow lights.
All standard grow lights used in hydroponic gardening – whether some type of metal vapor or fluorescent – employ a ballast system. This consists of a housing, within which is contained electronic components that in essence “prime the pump.” A fluorescent light has its own built-in ballast system; this builds up the energy required to activate the molecules inside the fluorescent tube, which in turn causes them to glow, emitting light. Metal Halide and HPS grow lights have “remote ballasts” which are housed inside a metal container. The components are what make up these lamps’ main power supply. Together, they function as a “pre-heater,” which allows electrical power to build up to the point that the lamp will run.
The drawback of these kinds of ballasts is that they build up the energy required to run the lamp, then sends it on all at once. The cold bulb is literally “slammed” with energy at full force. A good metaphor is the case of someone who puts a car in gear, disengages the clutch, revs the engine up to 4000 RPM then “pops” the clutch. “Pealing out” may be fun and impressive to onlookers (though illegal in most places), but as any automotive technician will tell you, can shorten the car’s engine and drive train considerably.
It is the same with standard ballasts; the sudden surge of electricity tends to shorten bulb life. In addition, standard coil-type ballasts cause the bulb to “strobe,” or flicker.
Digital ballasts eliminate this wear and tear on the bulb by providing a flow of electricity that starts out at a low level, then increases energy flow as the bulb warms up and achieves full brightness. Studies have shown that MH and LPS grow lights used with a digital ballast lost only 20 to 25% of their PAR luminescence (the wavelengths actually used by the plant) after one year; those used with a standard ballast had lost over twice at much over the same period.
It should be noted that digital ballasts vary in terms of quality and reliability. In general, products made in Chinese factories tend to be of inferior quality, and should be avoided. The best digital ballasts will run all types of grow lights, and be able to recognize the difference between metal halide, HPS or LED. If a bulb is defective, damaged or incompatible, or if a short circuit is detected a well-manufactured, U.S.- made digital ballast will automatically shutdown before a safety hazard is created.
About the Author
Susan Slobac is an expert on hydroponics gardening. She helps to explain how a digital ballast is integrated into a grow system and details how a digital ballast controls the flow of electricity to the grow lights.
Why wont my lights turn off when I use the switch?
I just got a new ballast and bulbs in my light fixture and now when I flick the switch, the lights stay on. I have 3 lights fixtures in the room all controlled by the same switch. The only one of the three lights that does not get turned off when I use the switch is the one that just got the ballast and bulbs replaced. Anyone have any idea? And is it going to cost a lot to fix this problem?
If it was fine before and not after whoever changed the ballast did their work, they might have mis-wired something. Call them back and make them correct the problem at no cost.

Rune pure- Warrior with 40 defence and full rune stil having higher str than atk.
Hybrid- Has atk str prayer magic and range.
Strengths and weaknesses-
Ranger Pure- Ranger pures are very good in f2p they can easily kill most mages there lvl although against rune pures and some warrior pures ranger pures will fall apart (most of the time)
Mage pure- Weak against ranger because ranger wear d hide which gives a descent magic defence bonus. Mage pures can kill rune pures with ease because there horrible magic defence bonus.
Warrior Pure- Warrior pures are very good also as they can rip through mages robes and d hide that rangers wear.
Range tanks- Better defence and range bonus these guys can withstand most range pures and warriors yet its range wont be as high as most range pures there lvl.
Rune pure- Rune pures are great against rangers for there defence bonus but mages have much more of an advantage because there HORRIBLE magic defence bonus.
Hybrids- These master of destructions have a high advantage because they can change from mage to range to melee yet there skills wont match other pures like there atk and str wont be as high as a warrior pure same as range and mage.
Another weakness is that they use more space in there inventory so they cant bring as much food.
What they should wear for pking
Range Pures- Green d hide vambs, boots, green d hide legs, leather top, coif, maple short bow, cape, 100+ addy arrows, ammy of power
Mage Pure- Blue wizard top and hat, ammy of magic, monk robe bottom, gloves, cape, boots, any elementtal staff, anti fireshield.
Warrior Pure- Green d hide vams and legs, weapon (i recommend scimmy), cape, blue wizard hat and top or iron pl8, ammy of power, anti fire shield.
Range tank- Same things as a regular range pure but use green d hide body.
Rune pure- Same as warrior pure but wears full rune.
Hybrids- Green d hide vambs and legs, boots, blue wiz top and hat, ammy of power, cape, scimmy/staff/or bow, 100+ addy arrows.
What they should have in there inventory during pking-
Range pures- Lobbies or above
Magic pures- Runes for there attack and lobbies+
Warrior Pure- Str pot (4) x2, if your using scimmy bring a 2h in your inventory for when they have 25 health or less and food lobbies+
Range Tank- same as range pure
Rune pure- same as warrior pure
Hybrids- Runes for mage, bow for range, staff, weapon for melee, food lobbies+, str pot (4) x1
You can also bring teleports if youd like and your magic is 25 or above
Strategies during pking-
Range pures- If your facing a rune pure by yourself run or teleport u have little chance of beating him but u can dont get me wrong its not impossible if u have teleports stick around for awhile to see if hes strong and if hes not kill him
Mage Pure- When your facing dual rangers (more than 1) by yourself run!
Warrior Pure- Pot right before combat and charge when the victim has 25 health or less switch to a 2h and kill him quick.
Range Tank- You have a slightly better chance against rune pures but still be cautious.
Rune pure- Taking on rangers isnt to hard for u, taking on warrior pures is slightly harders, if your facing a mage take off your armor during the fight trust me it helps.
Hybrid- This is great if your opponent is praying on u because u can switch through different skills making your opponent have to change there prayer which means they eat less food, when your fighting a mage use range or melee, when your fighting a ranger use melee, when your fighting a warrior use mage.
Places to pk-
Lvl 1-5 wildy above varrock and edgeville. Castle (warning in busy worlds there will be large teams of players waiting for some1 to kill)
P2P PKING PURES
Types of pures-
Ranger Pure- Range and hp lvl higher than your combat basically focusing only range with all other skills besides hp 1.
Mage Pure- Same as range pure except rasing only magic.
Warrior Pure- 1 defence and higher strength than attack.
Ranger Tank- Ranger with 40 defence so hat heshe can wear d hide body.
Rune pure- Warrior with 40 defence and full rune stil having higher str than atk.
Hybrid- Has atk str prayer magic and range.
Mage Tank- same as regular mage pure but u have 20 - 40 defence for your mage armor (not recommended)
Strengths and weaknesses-
Range pure- all i can say is in p2p range is really bad due to jagex changing the number of % that the special bar MSB i dont recommend being a range pure.
Mage Pure- Magic in p2p is very popular because of all the spells and staffs u can use like can use anciets, god staff, or some high level Wave spells.
Warrior pure- Using d scim and dds is mostly what warrior pures use some of the crazy folks use whips (if your going to use whip have your prayer atleast 25) There very good at ripping through range and mage pures with there dds and scimmy can help get rid of there prayer,
Rune pure- Not very good in p2p sense dds can pretty much rip right through armor i dont recommend this for p2p.
Range Tank- Like i said before range isnt very useful in p2p so i wouldnt bother
Hybrid- Because of the items it cant weild it puts this at a disadvantage for not having as many spots for food but these guys have a variety of weapons and tactics they can use and make people switch there prayer on and off
What they should wear for pking-
Range Pures- 100+ rune arrows MSB (magic short bow) the best d hide legs and vambs they can use, coifrobin, bootsranger boots, leather top, glory ammy, obby caperegular

Mage Pure- Runes for spell that you have chosen, Mage potion (4) x1, food.
Warrior Pure- DDSWHIPD SCIM, super atk and str pot (4) x1 ea, food.
Rune Pure- Same as warrior pure just bring a super defence to.
Range Tank- Same as Range Pure
Hybrid- Super set, maybe range and mage pot, Staffbowmelee weapon, if u want a prayer pot, food
You can also bring teleports if youd like and your magic is 25 or above
Strategies during pking-
Range Pure- If your facing ancient magicks there a good chance youll die even with your d hide. Try to get alot of friends because 3-4 archers attacking 1 person will add really add up.
Mage Pure- If your using blast, wave. or god staff always cast bind, snare, entangle on your oppenent to stop him from moving although it can fail. If u can teleblock then do it. If your using ancients and are taking alot of damage and afraid your going to die but u still want to say i the fight change your spell to a blood spell to heal yourself a little.
Warrior Pure- If your using dds and d scim only use 1-2 specs in the beggining with dds incase u need to use d scimmies spec to lower prayer. If your going to use whip in wildy get 25 prayer or dont skull with it.
Rune Pure- Same as warrior pure
Range Tank- Same as range pure
Hybrid- MagE Warriors, Range or melee Mages, and melee or range rangers.
Places to pk- Anywhere that green dragons are located, near castle, mage bank, lvl 1-5 wildy above edgeville. Do not go to mage bank on a busy world there are tons of people and clans there.
Tips-
Dont bring anything into the wildy you are not willing to lose because there is a pretty good chance you can die.
Dont trust anyone in the wldy no matter what they say unless you know them in real life.
If your going to pk with friends remember to be in multi zone so that all the members of your group can attack.
If your wearing something that might scare some1 out of fighting u take it off and wait till the battle begins.
Once you kill someone and collect your loot tele or run if people around u can attack because theyll try to kill u hoping to get your items and the persons u killed.
PJing or Pile Jacking (i believe) is when u attack someone after they have finished killing someone of course giving them a few seconds to pick up there winnings and thenyou kill them =. You could do this although most people hate pjers it may be more rewarding.

Well, I vote for you putting in Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. There's a SUPER rare fusion that you use for fusing them. I forgot the name, though. I lost it... I do not want to talk about it. add Sekuretsu Armor to your traps. Get Flame Swordsman and either Poleramazationx2, Fusion Gatex2 or, 1 of both and Dark Flare Knight. Also, get Flame Manipulator and Masaki the Legendary Swordsman. Hope this helps. BYE!!!

How to be a Miracle Maker: Create the Love, Money, Body and Spirit you Want
Here’s a fascinating secret about miracles: You can’t necessarily always place an order for magic at will, but you can deliberately create the conditions—environment, atmosphere and attitude—that make miracles a thousand times more likely to occur. Want to know how you can create a miracle-friendly world? By taking these practical steps, you will bring magic into your relationships, body, finances and more!
Your ability to Make Miracles is in direct proportion to your willingness to:
1. Tell yourself more truth about the situation you want to transform
The more honest you are about where you're really at, the more personal power you have to realize your dreams. By aligning yourself accurately with what is real, you retrieve all of the life force you've invested in holding together false situations and relationships. This re-captured energy then attracts the goals you desire. In this universe what’s congruent gets the energy. What’s not congruent doesn't get the energy. Where aren’t you being honest or accurate about some aspect of your life? What truth about your life is right now safe, timely, helpful, nurturing and liberating for you to acknowledge to yourself?
2. Act “outside the box”
All magic occurs beyond the boundaries of your current belief system. What obstacles lie between you and moving outside your “comfort zone?” Where could you let your vision for your life be more outrageous? More fun? More of what you really want?
3. Withdraw from collective mass consciousness
Step beyond general consensus to remove the limits of what’s possible for you to have. Many people have changed society—and had fun—by doing “what couldn’t be done.” You can too. When you withdraw your energy field from the energy field of the tribal collective agreement, you can create outside that agreement. Be "in the world, but not of it." Where in your life could you step a little further outside of mass consciousness thinking?
4. Use the Law of Attraction: Energize what you love with gratitude
Our magnetic field of energy is always (all ways) attracting exactly what we need to create our heart's desires. Discover the ancient wisdom of multiplying what you have with deep thankfulness. As you pour the vibration of appreciation into the love, health, prosperity and joy that you already have, this vibration will magnetize more of the same to you. It’s the physics of the Universe. What aspects of your life could you right now be genuinely grateful for?
5. Experience “concrete, physical” reality as energy
When we choose to experience so-called “solid” things as the vibrational energy—fields of energy—that they actually are, these aspects of our reality become infinitely more malleable and flexible in responding to our intentions. Where are you willing right now to open to experiencing your body—and other people, conditions, animals, rocks, emotions—as an energy field (life force/flow dynamic) rather than as fixed, static, solid objects?
6. Reclaim your Personal Power
Are you energizing ideas and activities and maintaining relationships that no longer serve you? When you choose to invest in those relationships and situations that do feed your dreams, you regain tremendous personal power. When you choose to call back your spirit from the people, ideas and activities that no longer serve you, you regain tremendous personal power to invest in those relationships and situations that do feed your dreams. What are you tolerating, avoiding or denying in your life right now? Where are you compromising, sacrificing or settling for something less than what you really want? Where could you invest your time, energy and attention that would really serve you?
7. Relax your grip on your belief system
When you release your vise grip on the rigid, fixed beliefs you inherited from society, the things can shift that need to shift for something new, fresh, wonderful and miraculous to happen to you. What are your beliefs about how life operates? How important are these beliefs to your survival, identity, reputation (need for approval) and sense of worth? In what areas of your life could you right now relax your need to control the exact functioning of the people and events around you?
8. Build Your Chi – Your Internal Life Force Energy
Our free attention, time and energy are the lifeblood of our ability to create and attract what we desire in life. The more we consciously manage and steward these natural assets, the more we can build a reservoir and reserve of miracle-producing power. Where could you be more accessible to energy-giving situations and people? Where could you be more inaccessible to energy-draining situations and people? How can you naturally and easily “build your internal life force chi” through activities that are fun for you? What in your life are you not experiencing as an adventure?
9. Connect directly with Spirit
Your soul is in charge of your life! Your spirit has been running the show from behind the stage curtain since the beginning of time. Open a direct line to the wonders, wisdom, support and guidance of your own brilliant soul plan. How do you mediate/pray? Is it as effective as you would like? Have you tried a moving meditation?
10. Align your personality with your soul
When you’re aligned with your true intentions in being here this lifetime, prosperity flows automatically with no effort or doingness. Align your everyday lifestyle with your soul vision and receive all the support, energy and love you need—and begin to enjoy the ride! What actions could you take that would bring your life more in accord with your life purpose? What changes could you make to be more authentic in your life?
11. Allow yourself to receive from Spirit
The primary joy and purpose of our spirit friends--the Ascended Masters, guardian angels, spirit guides, nature devas, spirit animals—is to assist us to reach our life goals. Do you regularly ask for assistance, and let in love and energy from your other dimensional allies?
12. Embrace your Shadow
What you choose not to see, you can’t change. What weaknesses, faults, fears and shortcomings do you feel you have—socially, physically, spiritually, romantically, financially, sexually? Are you willing to open up to your soul’s point of view on your so-called “dark side”?
13. Hang with people who nurture you
By your own pre-arranged conscious design, old soulmates deliver messages to you that trigger timely awareness, alchemy and awakening. What people and environments are not entirely safe, supportive or inspiring for you to be with? Where could you refuse to let another be reckless with your heart? Where could you be less reckless with another’s heart? Where could you celebrate the success of others?
14. Listen to your body
Our body is a natural feedback system to keep us abreast of how well we are dealing with the pressures and demands of life. What lessons is your body reflecting to you? What wake-up calls from your body have you been denying? What’s the weight you are carrying around? What’s your body dying to tell you?
15. Follow the guiding signs and synchronicities Spirit gives you everyday
Our soul is always (all ways) trying to steer us toward our goals. We live in an interactive, responsive universe that is designed to fulfill our deepest dreams—if we would only play along! Allow your intuition to guide you to the forms and vehicles that will empower your spirit to express fully. What messages and signals has the Universe been sending you that you have been ignoring, misinterpreting, or are afraid to act on?
16. Choose to be innocent (free) of the past:
Welcome surprise and serendipity
Open the door to more magic, meaning and money in your world by learning to suspend skepticism and conditioned responses. Learn to surf through the surprises of life, instead of being swept away by them. Where could you approach your goals with more flexibility, openness and sense of play?
17. Feng-shui your life: Give yourself a “spaceshift”
Feng-shui is the ancient art of consciously managing matter and energy within space. By intuitively re-arranging the elements of your daily life, you create the space to nurture the freedom, opportunities and effectiveness you desire. By clearing out the old, dead elements of your life, you create a natural vacuum and an unblocked channel for fresh, new energy and ideas to come into your private and professional life. How could you unblock your energy now? Where can you re-arrange the ways you live your everyday life in a fresh, new, intuitive way?
18. Live your life as an experiment
Consider your life as the latest—and greatest—experiment by human consciousness to express Heaven on Earth—or just to have fun playing in the 3rd dimension. Where could you lighten up, celebrate and have more humor in your approach to living?

Ground effect kits – go for high style
Ground effect refers to a series of aerodynamic features used in the design of a car in order to create a downward force. Many cars already cover this in their original design but many do not.
You can therefore procure a ground effects kit to make your car look and perform better. This after market product helps to increase the over all value of your vehicle in the market.
The kit consists of parts which help to enclose the room left between the vehicle's bottom and the ground. The function of this design is to keep the air from flowing below the car and instead stream it around the car. This helps to lessen the lift created by the air going underneath the car at high speeds which improves its performance. This also enhances the look of your car and gives it a more sporty appeal.
To ensure that the components fit properly on the frame of your car, the kit is available for many cars and trucks. Specific components are also available with regard to the different years, makes and models of the cars. As they are designed specifically with the distinct features of each car in mind, it makes for a better performance. It is also more convenient to install if the parts are tailored to the measurements and needs of our car.
Ground effect kits are made up of many parts which usually include the front spoiler, rear spoiler along with the side skirts for both the left and right wings of the car. Additional parts with respect to different cars can also be required. These parts are fixed to the car's body with the help of screws and special double sided tape. The parts can be made of many materials like elastic urethane, carbon fiber, fiberglass or any other compatible material.
Before installing a ground effect kit you should be aware that some are only for show while others actually help to improve the performance of your car. To ensure that you get what you want you must select the right kit which is designed specifically for your car so that you achieve the desired results. What time are US election results usually finalized?
I'm on the West Coast and was wondering (based on previous elections) when the winners are usually named barring some florida style screw up. Remember this is PST not EST. I have somewhere to be at around 7pm PST and was hoping that I could still see who won.
They are finalized when Florida gets redone counting the ballots.

How to mount corrupt windows partition in live ubuntu?
My window is corrupt and i tried to access it's data by using live CD of Ubuntu but i can't see the content of C drive and it says "unable to mount ntfs" Please help me out. I really have important data and i really need that.
Thank you very much
OK, you've got a problem not just with windows, but with the hard drive itself. You need to attempt to fix the file system on the hard drive (if possible) before you will be able to access C: AFTER you've fixed the file system, then you could use ubuntu to mount it and explore it.
Probably the best way to approach this would be to boot the windows install CD and run recovery console to do a scandisk or chkdsk on c:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058
Detailled directions for windows xp are above. But the procedure should be similar for vista or windows 7. Basically, you need to boot a windows install disk, go to recovery console and then scan the hard drive to ATTEMPT to fix file system errors, if possible.
I don't know if this will work or not. It's going to depend on what, exactly, is wrong with the hard drive. If the hard drive is too far damaged, this procedure will not work. But it's worth a try. Right now, you can't access the information. So if this procedure doesn't work, you'll be right back where you are now.
Good luck.
