Lake Erie's Central Basin
Lake Erie’s Central Basin The Lake Erie's Central Basin is located from about Huron, Ohio, to Erie, Pennsylvania. The Central Basin is wide open water with no Islands and the average water depth is more than 70 feet, Always think safety in these waters, or anywhere on Lake Erie, because boating conditions may change rapidly. Be sure to follow safe boating tips any time you are on the water and observe good clearance away from fishing boats, freighters and commercial tugs.
Fishing for Seelhead Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Walleyes, Yellow Perch is popular among many boaters. Fishing is best in the dead of summer in Lake Erie’s central basin because as the water warms up in the Western basin many fish species migrate to the central basin and cooler waters. The central basin is particularly noted for it’s Steelhead fishing. Steelhead typically need deeper water and the ave. depth in the central basin is 70ft, perfect habitat for Steel Head. Copied from the OHIO DNR website 7/15/2008 In response to the many questions from anglers, media and those concerned about Lake Erie resources, we present the following fact sheet regarding the central basin "dead zone." What is the central basin "Dead Zone?" The central basin "dead zone" is a layer of cold water at the bottom of the central basin that has little or no dissolved oxygen in it. The central basin is located from about Huron, Ohio, to Erie, Pennsylvania. As waters warm in the central basin, they form three specific layers. The warm surface and upper layer is called the epilimnion, it is characterized by with warm water with good oxygen and plant and animal life. The second layer is called the thermocline, and it is a small layer of rapid temperature change and loss of some oxygen. The bottom layer is known as the hypolimnion; it is cold, has low to moderate oxygen, no sunlight or algae activity, and decomposition by bacteria occurs here. These conditions can occur in most offshore waters deeper than 15-18 meters (49-60 feet) to the bottom of the lake. Hot weather, precipitation and wave action all dictate the onset and length of this condition. It can vary in depth and the amount of oxygen in the hypolimnion across the lake, north and south, east and west as a variable, patchy matrix. These conditions occur every summer from mid to late July through early September. After September this zone breaks down, when the lake becomes all one temperature again, in an event called a turnover. You can also get more information at:

can anyone explain the interaction between the central nervous system & peripheral nervous system?
i dont understand it.. ive look on websites, but they dont go in depth well enough.... does anyone have their own experience with this?

Hard Drive Failures : Causes and Difference from Magnetic and Flash Drives
Hard drive crashes are one of the most frustrating experiences with a computer. The inability to read data from the hard drive can render a computer useless. Even if the OS can run, the data may be inaccessible or damaged. The only way to recover from such a failure is to typically restore data from a backup onto a new drive with all the software installed from scratch. If no backup is available, then the data is either lost or will cost a lot for recovery services to retrieve.
From the above case, to retrieve the lost or damaged data from the magnetic hard disk is not at all easy. But in the case of Flash as a main memory, to retrieve the lost data is simple using some recovery software’s compare to the old one.Here some discussion takes place at what causes hard drive failures and how that causes differ from flash and magnetic hard drives.
Common drive failures
The most common failure for a magnetic hard drive is head crash. A head crash is any instance where the drive head manages to touch a platter. When this happens, the magnetic media will be etched off of the platter by the head and render both the data and the drive head inoperable. There is no clean recovery from such a failure. But in Flash based hard Disk doesn’t contain any head and motors. So no need to worry about these problems in flash hard disks.
Another common failure comes from imperfections on the magnetic media. Any time that a sector on the disk fails to properly hold the magnetic alignment will cause data to be inaccessible. MTBF:
In order for consumers to get a good idea of the lifespan of a hard drive; a drive was rated by MTBF. This term stands for Mean Time Between Failure and is used to represent the length of time that 50 percent of drives would fail before and 50 percent would fail after. It is used to give an idea to a buyer as to the average amount of time the device will function for.
The “Mean Time Between Failures” (MTBF) for hard disc drives had been going up fairly steadily from around 200,000 hours in the 1990’s to nearly 1,200,000 hours today. But the Solid-state drive is going to be orders of magnitude faster than any hard disc drive; the MTBF of nowadays flash is 2,000,000 hours (Example SanDisk).
Recovery Software:
At the time of hard drive failures, user wants to recover all data from that failure hard disk. So many recovery software are there for both magnetic and flash drives. But here compare to magnetic hard disk recovery, the flash one is very easy, time consuming and low cost too.

My Daewoo Korando recently had a mini service with spark plugs replaced. Now it is misfiring any ideas?
The car starts fine but it is very difficult (slow) up hills. However, sometimes after it has been sitting for a while it drives ok.
If it ran better before you changed the plugs you can pretty much bet there lies your problem. To make sure all the plugs are on correctly slide the boot up the plug wire till you see the clip (this may not be possible on some wires), push it on the plug and then push the boot down over the plug. Check that all the wires are firmly pressed into the distributor, they sometimes get pulled out when being tugged on replacing plugs.
If that's not it you may have gotten a bad plug or one could have been dropped and cracked the porcelain on the plug. Check the gap on each plug.
But being sporadic and the plugs and wires recently messed with I'd guess one of the wire clips is touching but not snapped down on the plug.

Acting: Is It Art or Craft?
You're an actor - or on your way to becoming one. Do you think of yourself as an artist? Or do you regard acting as a craft? The difference between arts and crafts has been hotly debated for a very long time, especially in the visual arts. What does the distinction mean in the world of acting?
The difference between art and craft is partly a product of recent times and is often tied to modern aesthetic judgements. If you like it a lot it's art. If you want to put it down, call it craft. Alternatively, you might think of the amateur actor as a craftsman and the professional, who has had acting training, as more of an artist. Some might even argue that the art of a dramatic work lies mainly in the writing and direction, and that actors are largely craftspeople who deliver the artistic product. But there are other ways you can see it.
A useful way of distinguishing art and craft is to think of craft as something that potentially anyone can learn. It's that component of your capacity as an actor that is developed through teaching, by learning methods and techniques (at drama school and in acting training) and honing those techniques in practice. Artistry is harder to pin down, but typically refers to that indefinable quality that exceptionally skilled or gifted people possess. It's what Robert De Niro or Cate Blanchett have in spades and a lot of other actors don't possess to the same degree. No doubt that is what you aspire to in your acting career.
There are other ways of looking at the art : craft distinction as well. You can think of the art of acting as a question of individual style. Someone who not only masters a technique but also makes it his or her own might be regarded as an artist rather than a craftsperson. Art is what happens when it you have mastered your craft and are able to add something that is uniquely yours. Each of your performances is larger than the sum of its parts and we can call the difference 'artistry'.
Wherever you stand in this endlessly arguable debate, most people agree that there is no art without craft. In your acting career, you would probably rather be seen as an artist than a master craftsperson. The thing to remember when you start out in acting is that everyone begins in the same place: learning the craft and the 'tricks of the trade'. For almost all successful actors, this begins in the classroom or actor's studio.
From this perspective, acting lessons deal in the craft of acting. It doesn't follow, however, that your acting training doesn't also concern acting as an art. Without a doubt, some of the artistry we admire in the performances of celebrated actors is also learned. It's just harder to label. Acting training will also help you recognise what artistry looks like - even if you can't pin it down. Perhaps another way of seeing the artist is as someone who, perhaps subconsciously, sees, understands and internalises that which cannot be taught.
Your acting lessons are about learning the nuts and bolts of the job. But drama classes are also a key environment for developing the ability to appreciate quality. That will help you, as an actor, to fine-tune your own performances, extend your scope and up your game. In this and other ways the art v. craft distinction breaks down. Method acting is a technique that is taught in academies and actor's studios. It is also one that is associated with many of the actors we regard as great artists. That probably isn't just coincidence, and the art and craft of acting can be tough to separate.
As an aspiring or novice actor you can set aside thorny questions and academic debates about acting as an art if you wish. Answers will surely take shape as you learn the craft that is always the foundation stone of all good acting.

Any old or muscle car enthusiast out there?
I've attended the swap meet in Moultrie, Ga today. First time I've ever been even though I've heard about it before. If you building a car, want to buy a car or need parts this is the place to go for all of your heavy metal needs. I had on a strap on mileage calculator and according to it I walked 14 miles. I think I may have seen 60% of what was there. Nice cars, 427 Chevs and Fords, 409 chevs, hemi's, year models of everything, parts every where new and original. This event would rival Barrett Jackson.
Sounds great - will definitely go next year. Went to the Mecum Muscle Car Auction in Kissimmee two weeks ago so couldn't afford another trip so soon.
By the way, the Mecum auction was great fun but there were no parts vendors or manufacturer displays or anything like you see on the Barrett-Jackson broadcasts. Other than that it was a blast previewing the cars and there were lots of cool muscle cars that a regular person could afford to buy, in the $3000-$9000 range.
